Ever since their new batch of employees, the amount of pearls in the drinks has DECREASED and is EXTREMELY INCONSISTENT. It's gotten to the point where I've stopped purchasing drinks here altogether. For nearly $7 a drink, it's a complete waste of money to receive barely a tablespoon of pearls especially when the original baristas always give a fair and satisfying amount. I'm not the only one who's noticed this issue, as others have complained as well. Please use the same portion sizes the original staff uses, or at least establish a consistent pearl scooping standard and stick to it. read more

My favorite is the Earl Grey Milk Tea with the 3J's whereas Hubby's is the Dirty Brown Sugar Milk Tea. With my beverage, I can customize the ice amount, sugar level as well as the preferred non-dairy beverage. They offer almond and soy and as per the manager, he stated they will be offering oat milk soon. During these cold days, they also offer hot beverages. They do not offer as many promotions as other boba shops and their reward system is you earn 1 point for every $1 you spend at Gong Cha. Their Rewards Program powered by the FiveStar program which now tells me in advance many points I have left in order to earn my next free drink or if I achieved my free beverage, it shows. I recently ordered a crème brûlée drink from Gong Cha through a mobile app service, and unfortunately, my experience wasn't the smoothest. When I arrived to pick up my drink, I went to the designated area for the app I ordered through. I waited there for quite some time over 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging me or checking if I needed help. I didn't want to rush the staff, so I patiently waited, assuming my drink was still being prepared. Eventually, I noticed drinks being placed at another pick-up area, and after seeing several orders come and go, I decided to ask about mine. It turned out my drink had been ready for a while and was sitting in the original spot I had checked. It would've been really helpful if someone had asked if I was picking up or offered a quick check, especially since I was clearly waiting for quite some time. When I finally got my drink, it unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. I think there's definitely room to improve the mobile order pick-up process so customers aren't left confused or waiting unnecessarily. Going forward, I'll likely choose Kung Fu Tea instead, as I've had more consistent experiences there with both service and pricing. read more

Had a great flavor and better than other places I've tried which tend to sometimes taste Powdery. I also had a matcha latte which was just ok. Wasn't my favorite. It's located inside the Asian Food mart. As far as bubble tea places go, nice variety and I thought the drinks were great. However, I waited quite a while for my order. Okay it's a Gong Cha so you if you like Gong Cha, you'll like this location. The tea is sweet but not way too sweet, the boba is always cooked just right, and the milk foam is delicious. This is my go-to in the Princeton area. It's quite busy because it's literally right inside the supermarket, but I've never experienced longer than a five minute wait. just wanted to shout out the service here though -- they are really, really polite, and when my mom's boba somehow exploded, one employee came out with a mop, helped us clean up everything, and even made my mom a new cup of tea. you don't service like that everywhere, and the fact that this employee went above and beyond despite the shop being so busy was so, so nice.
