I had a few questions about the different bobas, pearls, and jellies, and the staff actually took the time to explain everything and answer my questions. That was a much different experience from other boba places I recently visited. I ended up ordering a type of boba that wasn't really my personal preference, and the drink was a little sweeter than I like, but that's completely on me and part of learning what I like. We were near the Metro when we decided to get some Boba. It is located inside of a Korean food hall. It's a pretty cool spot if you're looking to hang out and eat. There's a bar in the middle as well. Plenty of parking. They have a self service kiosk where you can order your own drink and customize it as you wish. They also have pictures which is always helpful to decide what to order. I went for their dirty brown sugar coffee milk tea, large with Boba and it was really good. I also tried a Lychee green tea with popping mango Boba. Also really good. I do want to advise, the medium looks more like a small so definitely do a large for a good amount of drink. Also, if the drink states that it has Boba, no need to click the option for boba. That just means to add additional Boba. I had to ask. Service was really quick. I ordered two boba teas through DoorDash and was disappointed to see that neither drink had a safety sticker or seal on the lid. The cups were completely unsealed, which left them open to potential tampering during delivery. Even though this wasn't a food order--just beverages--basic safety measures should still apply. A simple tamper-evident seal would provide customers with peace of mind that their drinks haven't been opened or handled after preparation. I come here for a little pick me up very often, since I live nearby. The staff is always friendly & willing to suggest beverages & answer any questions I have. They are also really fast with making your order. The strawberry matcha milk tea with oat milk is by far the best drink I've ordered from here! You really can't go wrong with anything you order, though. They have a cool rewards program that gets you a free small drink (no topping) after you buy 10 drinks, and with every receipt, you can complete a survey for a free topping. I love that there's the screen orders and you can order with a cashier. The cashiers were friendly and the service was fast I went a few years ago and got a milk tea with caramel flavoring and it was watery. Now, I've had Gong Cha at another location and it was not watery so I said eh I'll just try something else. Maybe it was an off day. Located in spite of the spot which is a community pool in the sub of Maryland I decided to try one of my favorite dessert drinks which is of course bubble tea. When I came up to the counter service is a little bit slow but they have an overwhelming number of choices and combinations and different editions which I haven't seen before I opted to go for the mango smoothie with bubbles and peach jelly and I thought it was just delicious. Left Jersey and thought I'd never see Gong Cha again. I was THRILLED to find one today and even more thrilled by my experience. I had a Green Milk Tea, which is pretty standard. We also ordered a mango smoothie and Ai-Yu tea with strawberry pearls. They were bussing. We ordered through the Gong Cha DMV app (yes, the DMV gets its own Gong Cha app) for about $19 bucks and they had them ready for us when we got there. When I arrived, my large was a medium but when I brought it to their attention, they quickly fixed it and were super apologetic. My drink was good. They use good tea so it was pretty aromatic and flavorful. The Gong Cha stand/area was clean and everyone working was so nice. I highly recommend downloading the app to earn points. Ohhh, and fight me if you want, but this place is better than Kung Fu Tea. read more

The place was pretty busy when I got there but the friendly staff was getting orders out fairly quickly. I ordered a sparkling peach tea with mango popping pearls for carry out and it was amazing. The second best Thai tea comes from here! My first option is pho viet in camp springs but they don't have an option for oat milk that's why I love this place. But ive noticed is that theyre very stingy when it comes to the oreo topping (idk on the others) but theyve forgot them in my orders multiple times or its just a little sprinkling on top. Gong Cha, which means Tribute Tea, is a bubble tea franchise established in Taiwan in 2006. They have over 1650 locations in 20 countries. This store opened in May 2022. My wife and I got a Dirty Brown Sugar Latte with pearls, a Creme Brulee Strawberry Latte, and a Black Milk Tea with mango pearls. The Dirty Brown Sugar Latte with pearls had cold milk, brown sugar syrup, and pearls. The pearls were made with tapioca starch and brown sugar. They were a little chewy and had a mild brown sugar flavor. We ordered 50% sugar, and the sweetness was just right. The latte had a great caramel flavor. This was our favorite.    The Creme Brulee Strawberry Latte had a top layer of thick creme brulee milk foam with caramelized brown sugar on top of it. A cold milk layer below it and strawberry milk at the bottom. The only sugar level options were 70% or 100%. We got 70 %, and it was very sweet. It tasted like Nestle Nesquik strawberry milk with extra sugar. I won't be getting this again because it's too sweet.    The Black milk tea with mango pearls had black tea, plant-based creamer, sugar, and mango pearls. The mango pearls were the type that pops. You don't chew them. They pop when you press them in your mouth. The pearls have a strong mango flavor juice inside. It was slightly sweet with a hint of tanginess. The Black milk tea had more milk flavor than tea flavor. The milk flavor comes from a plant-based creamer powder. Water is added to make their "milk." There is some dairy in it. We got 50% sugar, and it tasted just sweet enough. Overall, it was good.    The service was attentive and helpful. Our drinks took about 15 minutes because 2 customers had ordered before us and only 2 employees were working. The eatery looked very clean. Their prices are competitive even though they are the only boba tea place in the Suitland/Clinton/Andrews AFB area. That explains why they are the busiest eatery in The Spot Food Hall. They have everything you need in a boba tea place. I don't have cravings for boba tea, but I would refer this place to people who want it. read more

I've ordered numerous times from this location. My family orders the Earl Grey Milk tea and I personally like the Dirty Brown Sugar Latte drink. Not many boba locations have the dirty brown sugar option and if they do it's not as flavorful. This location makes it just right and provides the option to adjust sugar levels. I've also tried the strawberry lemonade which was okay. The service is prompt which is great if you just want to drop in for boba quickly.
