I asked all the pertinent questions and verbalized several times, if I was booked with Dr. Bailey, I was told you are all set. I don't want to bore you w the details on of how I didn't select Dr. D. Etc. Now, they suggested to reschedule for a new appointment, 2 weeks after. My health is my top priority, and I had some issues to address at the time of the visit. My health is at stake, and I am not receiving the care required. All the office "Manager" Sue could say, okay! It is not okay and having a team of staff that seem to read of a script: is not acceptable not to mention incompetent. If the "Manager" of the office displayed low quality of service & care; you can only imagine the rest of the bunch (pure rubbish). Thank you for wasting my time & energy. I am content this happened immediately, I saved myself many heartaches and disappointments/money. For the rest of the world, you've been warned! My loved one has experienced such hardship coming here. The front desk staff are so unprofessional (which I am not surprised by, given the multiple reviews about that). Mind you...the patient is a pediatric nurse... we are all aware of healthcare practices / along with the madness that comes with patient care... but to hang up mid-conversation and send our following two calls to voicemail... funny enough...when we called back on a different phone...they answered... Additionally, the woman at the front desk was severely lacking in manners. She continued to answer phone calls and carry on conversations while I was trying to check in, even when the other receptionist told her to say that she had a patient waiting. During this time, I also noted several patients walking in without masks. When I went to the appointments room, yet another receptionist in that room was not wearing a mask. Additionally, when I addressed the lack of masks with the practitioner I was scheduled to see (Wang), she had no initial response. When I pressed further, stressing that it was a problem, she only offered a weak "sorry" and said that she agreed with me that all staff members should be wearing masks. No attempt to say that the center would address the issue. Incredibly irresponsible and unprofessional place. Will not return and would not recommend to anyone.

Most of all, Dr. Douek really listens and respects his patients and their wishes. When I found out my baby was breech and desperately wanted to avoid a c-section, Dr. Douek did everything within his power to allow me this opportunity which included a successful ECV at 38 weeks to turn the baby. When I was approaching 10 days past due date, I expressed my desire to avoid an induction and Dr. Douek offered me the option of a membrane sweep (allowing me to come back 3 times in the same day, a few hours apart, with the last time being close to midnight- long after his employees had left!) This allowed me the opportunity to go into labor naturally with my water breaking later that night! When my labor lasted very long and the baby has some difficulty descending, never once did Dr. Douek rush me or try to push me down the path of a c-section where other doctors definitely would have. His approach was, if the baby is tolerating well and you're willing to keep trying, we're in this together! In the end, we were able to get to the finish line together and I was able to deliver my baby naturally. I know in my gut that if I had a different doctor, my outcome would have been very different. I was so satisfied with my entire prenatal care and birth with doctor Douek, and am so grateful to him for giving me such an incredibly positive birth experience!
