I needed a new protector for my screen and was going to go back to the kiosk I used to go to but came across GoMobile Repair. I really like how the owner is so passionate about his business by the way he described it on his website. To me, if you love what you do you'll just do it better so I went to check them out. I met Paul, the owner's brother. He explained the different screen protectors but not in a typical salesperson way. He was genuinely trying to educate me on my options. I picked the best protector, bought the warranty in case I drop my phone. They replaced my screen twice and also explained why it kept cracking. My phone protector was more fashion than function. I also left my other iPhone there for sale. It was sold! I noticed how they treat each and every one of their customer. They are so respectful and professional. People leave feeling great doing business here. I met Darcy the owner and I thank him for taking such good care of each and every one of my visit. read more

They won't give my phone back. I left it with them 2 months ago. They informed me that the repair was complete but then they shut the shop down indefinitely. They're not replying to my emails and phone calls and they still have my property. I'm not confident I will ever get my phone back...and that's after I already paid them $200. These are not trustworthy people. read more

My dog (almost) ate my phone...seriously. My screen was cracked, I couldn't get an appointment that worked for me at the Apple store, but I was wary of taking my fairly new phone into a random repair shop. I did some research online and found this place had great reviews. It was awesome! The location was convenient (they also offer mobile repair), the staff was super friendly and their space is so nice. I picked up my phone a few hours later and everything looked perfect and worked well. It was also more affordable than I expected. And while I hope I don't have to visit them again, if anything happens to my phone I wouldn't hesitate to leave it here. read more

I brought my shattered iPad into Paul and it was fixed the next day! Sadly the damage was so much that the repair compromised the home button "click" feeling. It was still fully functional so I was satisfied. A couple of weeks later the home button stopped working all together so I brought it back in and Paul did another 24h turnaround repair (which by the way he apologized for the wait?!?) which included ordering a new part for my home button. The repair was speedy, and my device is good as new! Better yet? He did it for free as the home button wasn't a problem when I initially brought it in. Great local business. Fast, friendly, reasonably priced and great quality! read more

Great service. I went to Apple Store to fix my broken screen. The Genius told me replace screen cost $189; plus my phone is a bit uneven, so it might cost additional $450 if the new screen doesn't match. I brought my phone to this place just to get a second opinion. $129 to fix my iPhone6 plus and they finished the job beautifully in one hour:) very happy with the service! read more

If there were more stars I would give them and I rarely give full stars. I was very impressed with Paul and Chris. The service was top notch and they are pros! I brought in my old S7 edge to replace the motherboard, it seems many other places don't know how to do this or don't want to. I gave a deposit and a day later my phone was ready to go. What else can I say? I will not hesitate to recommend GoMobile to anyone! read more

I dropped by and found the repair to my broken glass was $55 plus an optional $20 for a plastic shield, which I took. I was also offered $20 off a new battery, which was also needed. They said they could do the repair in 30 min when I brought it in, which is how long it took. Friendly, helpful, and all that, too. The phone looks and works great now, as I was gifted it with a broken screen. This phone will now be good until it becomes hopelessly out of date. Thanks for a good job. read more

I came to go mobile repair after having to faulty phone repairs and an in active touch screen They were able to take me same day within two hours of me dropping off the phone, which is obviously very important When I came to pick my phone up, they had let me know that a lot of the components from inside the phone we're missing from the prior repair which they took care of at no cost. I was concerned that I was going to have to get a brand new phone but after my trip there not only was my screen in perfect order but my phone works like brand new I'm very grateful for the level of customer service, honesty, and integrity I highly recommend GoMobile repair read more

These guys are great. Highly recommend! We bought a screen protection package for our daughter's phone and have never had issues each time we needed the screen protector replaced. read more

Started out great! Friendly service, fast. Spent $230 + $20 tip. About 15 mins after leaving, the screen became intermittently unresponsive/frozen/possessed. Called them, they were super nice and told me that it's under warranty, so bring it back and they'll make it right. Brought it back in 2 days later, again, super friendly, fast, made my phone a priority. Again, about an hour after picking it up, the phone started acting up again. Contacted the store, they gave me some tips on how to troubleshoot the issue. Told me that if the phone still didn't work after that, to bring it back in and they'd try again, because it's under warranty, super friendly and helpful. Until today I brought the phone in, explained what was happening. The two bearded guys were at the front. Guy #1(nice one) listens to my issue, guy #2 (mean one) starts trying to make excuses as to why my phone not working isn't their issue, how it must be my motherboard or that I have a "problem phone" and that 99.9% of people get their phone fixed and are as happy as can be. Was offered to give them my phone for 3 business days to send it to an expert to check the motherboard, even though guy #1 said that my phone was in good shape, and that wasn't likely the problem. My second option was to give a 'partial refund' and replace my screen with a broken one, take it back to Apple, and try to get them to do something. So, give up my phone and maybe pay more money, or get some of my money back, and my phone back the way I brought in, in the first place. So much for the 'warranty'. I will definitely not be recommending this establishment to anyone. Already told a coworker to not bother getting her phone fixed there tomorrow, as she had been planning. read more

The guys that work here are pleasant and good at what they do but are somewhat disorganized. Neither the quote for time needed to fix nor the cost to fix were accurate. It It came to $145 +tax, beyond the $80-120 range that I was originally quoted and took a day longer than they originally said. The explanation for the price jump was something along the lines of the problem costing more than they originally thought. I would like to mention that my phone has been fixed and that they know what they are doing in terms of repairs. I don't mind waiting 2 days or paying $164 to have a professional fix a problem that I obviously am incapable of fixing, I am just unhappy that the time and the cost is more than what they originally told me. read more

Outstanding service, Paul was extremely helpful. He managed to replace our iPad battery without breaking the screen (which had a few small cracks on the outer edge). They offer a 1-year warrantee on all of their work. Can't recommend highly enough! read more

If you are looking for a place to save you time and money this is the place to go. However you don't have to go anywhere because they go to you! When I called this company they were very flexible and helpful on when they can come over to your house or where you work to fix the problem. My phone needed a new screen because it was cracked. I called them on a Friday to book an appointment on a Monday and they arrived on time at the noon appointment conveniently at my place of work. Assessing the situation they went to the Tim Hortons across from my place of business to get to work. The employee was friendly and prompt on servicing my phone. This was important because it saved me time from going into an establishment. There was no extra charge for this service either but going to other phone repair place it actually was cheaper!!!!! My phone is back in order and I have to thank the friendly staff at irevive Mobile service and I can not thank them enough saving me trip somewhere that would be shady and having no English language barrier whatsoever. I strongly recommend this place to anyone that wants to save time and money! read more

PROS: professional look, punctual, fast, respectful CONS I am giving the 2 stars because after my screen got replaced I had 3 light leaks at the top of the screen, it didn't look as nice as the original but I didn't care much about that as long as the screen functioned. I was very satisfied and praised them to my friends! -2 weeks later, the screen cracked exactly were the leeks were. I didn't bang nor drop my phone. It was ridiculously laughable!!! -I called the gentleman that fixed it for me and he respectfully tells me that the leek has nothing to do will the cracking but will ask his manager to call me to see what can be done. - That was 6 days ago, still no call back I researched online and poor quality screens will break very easily such as when you put an iphone cover on bottom of line: I paid 128.80 CAD, still have a broken phone and did not bang, drop, hit my phone whatsoever. I'm in the customer industry myself, so I'm very...um, hard to please, when it comes to dealing with other customer service companies. All that is to say, I don't give out 5 start ratings easily. Yesterday when my iPhone 5c had an unfortunate fall flat on its face on tiled floor, the screen shattered. I searched high and low for a place that can repair it as quickly as possible, because I NEED my phone for work. I phoned iRevive in the afternoon and Darcy picked up at first ring, and booked me an appointment for this morning. Joseph showed up at my office exactly at the appointment time, toting his Pelican rolling case of tools and parts. I cleared an area on my desk and he got to work. From start to finish, it was exactly 20 minutes. Joseph is super friendly and interesting to talk to, without being the slightest imposing. (BTW, Joseph, I think your beard is super cool.) Once the screen was repaired, he tested the screen all over, the home button, the call function, then handed the phone back to me. I wrote a company cheque, and he emailed me an invoice on the spot. As you can see, the entire process was just so painless for these reasons: 1. They were easy to get a hold of by phone (I didn't try emailing them) 2. They booked an appointment right over the phone 3. The technician was ON TIME! That's HUGE for me. My appointments/meetings are booked back-to-back all day, and I really don't have much leeway in my day to wait around. 4. For someone with a busy schedule, the mobile service was such a godsend. I didn't have to drive anywhere and wait for hours. The time I have saved I used it to write this review. 5. The technician was a people-person and pleasant to deal with. 6. I got an invoice on the spot. My alternative would have been: 1. buy a Groupon for some other place that had terrible reviews (Nah, not willing to risk my phone or wasting my time) 2. watch a youtube video and buy a kit to replace the screen myself (Nah, too many tiny screws and I have zero experience opening up an iPhone) 3. buy a brand new phone (Sure, if I had $700 to spare) Thank you Joseph!! (and Darcy) read more

I selected irevive for repair because of their high ratings and Paul was very pleasant to deal with and flexible in scheduling. I had inquired as to whether or not the glass used would be original Apple and he was very honest in saying that it is not possible to say whether or not it is, but it would be of the same quality. However, while repairing the device he broke my lcd screen which was very disappointing to me because at this point I was worried about an aftermarket screen not being the same as my original retina. Even more disappointing was that he didn't have any LCDs in stock and I would have to wait a month or find another repair technician. Since my iPad was totally unusable at this point I had to call around and find another place that could fix it and now my repaired iPad has colour variations in comparison to before it was repaired. The three star deductions are for - messing up my original Apple LCD - attempting the repair without backup parts - especially since he stated that this is a common occurrence after he broke it - I had to find another place to repair it myself after the fact The 2 stars given are for - reimbursing me for the extra costs of replacing the lcd - Paul's flexibility in scheduling and customer service initially read more

I was impressed with the fast response and great service of coming to where I work. Where things went sideways is when my screen was no longer responsive after it was replaced. I scheduled a repair session where now they so no longer come out to see you, now it is you to meet them close to the home office. Fair enough. After screen was replaced again it would not function again and this was the precise moment where good service separates from bad. Unfortunately it turned bad for me as I was told they could not do anything and I should try to go to the store and try to get the phone replaced on warranty and hopefully they would not find out that the screen had been replaced which obviously voids the warranty. No attempt was made to try another replacement or some compassion. I doubt I would engage with them again. read more

Walked in to get a iPhone 6 battery replaced as recommended by the Apple Store geniuses. Didn't want to pay $99 at the apple store to get it replaced so I found this place. I went in the afternoon around 4:30 and they had a backlog so I left it with the and was promised the next day around 2. Call them around 2 the next day, it was pretty much ready to go. Picked it back up and the battery replacement was a lot cheaper than Apple Store (duh) and the iPhone 6 works like brand new (I was getting random shutdown and the apple store genius told me that my battery was nearing its lifetime charge cycle - 800 out of 1000). Very satisfy with the job and speed. no hassle. Already recommended couple friends to go there to replace cracked screens and needing new batteries. read more

Amazing. I had my phone taken in to be fixed by some guys at Metrotown over the weekend since I was in an emergency. Unfortunately, they messed up two times and took over 6 hours each time to get my screen fixed. And left me with a phone that was pretty much partially broken, worse than when I took it in. My camera didn't work and all, speakers, buttons were not functioning. So, I was still in an emergency, I called iRevive 9am Monday, and secured an appointment in the afternoon. Darcy showed up not a second late, and got right to work on my dining table. Super fast and professional, doing everything right in front of me with no gimmicks. He revealed to me that the booth guys I went to used cheap parts and actually LOST some of the parts that was keeping my phone together. Darcy helped me undo pretty much all the damage, and he was in and out in 45 minutes. If you have a phone that needs fixing, don't even look any where else. These guys should be the first number you call. Fully deserving of a 5/5 review. read more

After checking out several repair places I chose iRevive based on their excellent customer reviews and was not disappointed. Paul, my repair tech, was friendly, on time, and very efficient. I requested a battery and charging port replacement for an iPhone 5. I decided to purchase a new screen protector (tempered glass) for both the phone being repaired and my spare. Paul also had a range of accessories on hand as well. The whole thing took less than 50 minutes, which included testing the battery to ensure it would charge. He also provided several helpful tips to help me make the most out of my new battery. Prices are very reasonable and the fact that they're mobile and come to you is so convenient. I called in the morning and had an appointment 3 hours later and a working phone after the 4th. Very impressed, would highly recommend this business :) read more

Simply put - my phone definitely feels revived. Dropped my iPhone 5s a month ago and the shattered screen has been falling apart slowly since. Finally, I gave in. True to the reviews, this service is definitely deserving of a full five stars. I called around 11 in the morning and Joseph was set up to meet me at my office at 2pm. Not only was he smack-dab-on-time but he also was extremely efficient. Clearly once you've done a few thousand screen changes, it's almost second nature. The whole process took no more than 15 minutes. Pricing? $110 plus tax (cheaper if you offer to go to their shop instead and pricing varies depending on phone type/style). Although it may seem a bit much, there's a 6 month warranty and the service comes to your front door, without you needing to take a minute out of your schedule. My colleagues watched in amazement as my phone received what seemed like VIP service. Needless to say, if anyone I know shatters a screen next time, iRevive are the guys to get in touch with. read more

Go Mobile, the name, the cars, all look so profesh and clean... So corporate that I was afraid to be lost in it all. I was wonderfully suprised to find the friendliest nerd behind the counter. We chatted as he checked out my phone on the spot. He didn't waste my time telling me he'd call me in a week. He was able to diagnose and repair on the spot. The price was great for the service I received. I've been there a second time now and was just equally impressed. Darcy, Headnerd, you've got me for life!!! read more

I would highly recommend iRevive for any phone repairs or updates. I requested an appointment online and received a call back within 30 minutes for a same-day appointment time. He completed the work within 10 minutes, and I was even able to pay with credit card. A very good experience - I'd recommend iRevive any day! read more

I was able to schedule a repair for my ruined iPhone 6 screen in less than 24 hours after I contacted them via email. The repairman was friendly, courteous, and very efficient. I ended up getting a screen protector too and I couldn't be happier with their exceptional service, professionalism, and quality of work. It's been 2 weeks and the screen and my phone are still going strong. He was also very transparent about how much it would cost. It's a great price considering they come to you for the repair and it's done in roughly 30 min. read more

Darcy has been my best friend for about 20 years so I would leave him a good review regardless... But he did save my iPhone recently! I got the base of my phone wet a few days ago and it wouldn't charge when I plugged it in! I didn't think iRevive could fix it so I went to the apple store and they offered me a refurbished phone for $170... So then I tried the bell store who told me I had to pay to break my contract, then sign a new one, and pay whatever the going rate was for a new phone! I stressed out for a while thinking about it, weighing the costs, then decided to go for the apple offer. As I was waiting in line to pay I thought "I may as well try iRevive.... Maybe he has a phone I could buy off him". Low and behold he said he could fix it NO PROBLEM!! My schedule was crazy busy, I only had a one time and place I could meet and Paul said "easy, I'll see you then and there". He was right on time and fixed my phone in 20 mins! I was thrilled!!! My phone is back to normal! Woohoo! I'm so careful with my phone but that was the second repair job I've had with them and both times it was as good as new! Thanks again gents! read more

I dropped my phone right before fashion week and right before I had a flight out to Toronto. I was in major panic mode. I contacted Darcy the day before the first show and he was kind enough to fit me into his sched because someone had cancelled. Turns out I didn't need a new screen (which would have been like $70). The wires were messed up in my iPhone so he fixed them and charged me a lot less! A month after my phone's screen was messed up again, and this time his brother, Paul, helped me. The wires were messed up again so it was another $20. But he offered to use that $20 toward any other services, so I updated my phone's battery and the on/off button. The total came to about $100 and it's lasted me these few months before I switch to an iPhone 6. Bottom line: These guys are quick, professional, affordably-priced. Have them on your speed dial just in case anything happens! read more

My one year old smashed my iphone 5 screen (lesson learned: don't let you baby have your phone, ever) so I called up iRevive to fix it. I liked the idea that they come to you, a big bonus when you're busy with kids etc. Darcy was able to come the next day which was perfect considering my phone was hanging on for dear life. From the beginning the service I received was great. It only took about 30 mins. for my phone to get fixed. The price seemed pretty comparable (even slightly cheaper) to other companies, and their website is easy to navigate and lists all prices. Would definitely recommend iRevive to others. read more

This is the first time I've ever broken my phone, and I am clueless. Thankfully, Yelp answered my prayers with all glowing recommendations for iRevive Mobile - y'all were right! I made an online reservation to have my screen replaced, and within an hour, I received a phone call from Darcy. He arranged to have Paul meet me the next day, and was understanding when I needed to change locations half an hour before my appointment (granted it was only 2 blocks, and in pursuit of good coffee). Paul was friendly and professional, and great conversation considering the meticulous work he was doing (who knew an iPhone had that many microscopic screws?). Within half an hour my phone was as good as new, with a complimentary screen protector, too! The mobile aspect of their service is especially attractive! Fast, convenient, and service with a smile. This review has started to sound very corny and generic so I'm just gonna say: pick iRevive, they rule. *mic drop* read more

So here's the thing, once in a while you experience awesome service, a great product and a fair price and you feel compelled to share it with everyone you know and for them to share it with everyone they know. iRevive Mobile repair is one such experience that began with a telephone call at 3PM, prompt arrival at 4PM and out my door with a brand new screen on my iPhone by 5PM. Well, up until my experience with iRevive, I didn't have to complain about a business. I posted pictures of my damaged phone yesterday but iRevive removed it. My iPhone 4S had an unfortunate meeting with a concrete floor and needless to say, came out the worse for it. It's been dropped before with no issue but this time I knew I was in trouble when I saw blue horizontal lines running across the screen. Quick Google search later and I realized that most likely I was looking at an LCD issue. I searched Yelp for mobile phone repair places in the Mt Pleasant area and saw the great reviews for iRevive so gave them a call. I spoke with Darcy who told me they could get to me that evening (it was 5:30pm when I called) which I found pretty impressive however I was working late so we landed on 10am the next day. Paul showed up right on time, was very polite and friendly and got my phone back to its old self in less than 30 mins. I opted for the generic screen at $75+ since a) my phone is pretty old and b) I'm pretty cheap :) I did spring for a new case for the phone though, since their prices were very reasonable ($10-20). With my new screen and new case, I think I can hold off on a phone upgrade for awhile longer (sorry Bell!) Based on my experience, I highly recommend iRevive. read more

Reunited with my phone and it feels so good! My Samsung Galaxy stopped charging I was really upset as there are irreplaceable pictures on it. But! Darcy to the rescue! I called GoMobile and spoke with Darcy on the phone. He told me it was no problem to fix the charging port on my phone! I dropped it off at their location on Broadway. To replace the charge port is not a service they can do outside of the shop due to soldering. It was a quick fix and my phone is just like new!! I'm so happy. They were beyond professional and the price was very good. The web page is great as you can see all they offer and they are very quick to respond. Huge thanks Darcy, Paul and Go Mobile. read more

I had emailed on Monday when the power button on my iPhone somehow decided to stop functioning as a power button, forcing me to use the functional, but not terribly convenient assistive touch button. Darcy called me Tuesday morning, and was very prompt to set up an appointment for the following day. On Wednesday, Paul called and let me know in advance that he would be able to accommodate me at an even earlier time than previously discussed, which was fantastic. Upon meeting him, he was extraordinarily professional and efficient. Managed to get my iPhone's power button up and running very quickly - all while juggling numerous phone calls. My wife shattered the screen on her iPhone 4S yesterday. I found iRevive through a google search and noted the high rating on Yelp. I have an iPhone 5s and my screen was completely smashed (the front camera was exposed). I called made an appointment for the next day to get the screen replaced. I was supposed to meet Ansu at a coffee shop by my work during my break, but I called the morning of to change the location to my place instead because I was sick that day. They were totally flexible and Anzu showed up at my apartment! She had to bus (which totally sucks for her because she has to lug this suitcase around!) so she called me saying she was going to be a few mins late and was very apologetic. I was okay with it because I get it- public transit sucks sometimes. Also- I was laying in my bed sick ...so time wasn't a huge factor for me. When she got there she assessed my phone and got straight to work! The whole process took less than an hour :) Pros: - flexible with location - they finish very fast - super nice people Cons (barely cons): - Anzu had to file the side of my phone because she had to get a dent out using her tools so my sides are a bit scratched (but I don't really mind because I have an otter box on it now so I can't see it) - You can only pay cash or credit so if you have debit you need to go to the bank first - I had to reset my touch ID cause it didnt work I highly would recommend if you're short on time! However, it cost me about $130 (I got the high resolution screen versus the $99 screen) I would have gone to apple but I think it would have cost almost $200 because I don't have apple care and I would have to send my phone in for a few days Thanks iRevive! read more
