I had an evergreen pear tree that was leaning at a 45 degree angle. The branches were over the neighbors front yard jeopardizing there front porch, garage and also there car. The tree technicians were very professional and skillfully removed the tree. The truck or stump of the Evergreen Pear tree had a huge hole that was caused by subterranean termites. One of the tree technician informed me that it was a good thing to remove the tree before it could had damage the next door property. Wasted my time. What is the problem with landscapers and schedules? I asked to meet via Yelp, was told to schedule an appointment using his automated system. So I scheduled the appointment, sent another message in yelp to say when I scheduled the appointment, received a response in yelp to thank me and an email appointment confirmation, and then he never showed or communicated he would be late. Don't waste peoples precious time. Not cool. And to add to my review since the owner is calling me out I will enclose photos that show the communication that this landscaper and his business was aware of our appointment. As a business your practices reflect on you and if your calendar does not work properly or you don't know how to use it properly it is your fault not mine. The negative review is deserved. read more

This review is long overdue! After years of trying to DIY yard work every spring, our landscaping was overgrown and messy looking, with trees and bushes out of control. We had giant bamboo trees that needed major trimming as well. We asked multiple landscaping companies for a clean up estimate, Orlando came out for a walk through and gave us the most competitive price. He asked thorough questions about certain looks we wanted and how much to trim. His team came out a couple weeks later and did an incredible job over two days trimming, edging and mulching. They worked super hard, went above and beyond and left no corner of our property untouched. They even detailed our parkway. On top of the great work, they hauled away all of the yard waste and left everything so clean. We were shocked by the transformation, it looks so much better! Recently I needed to finally get my front yard done and I went with Gomez Landscaping. Because I had the time, I had the luxury to reach out to many landscapers and get as many quotes as I wanted. I ended up getting almost 10 quotes. I had some outrages quotes and some bottom basement quotes and a lot in between. Orlando's (owner of Gomez Landscaping) was about in the middle. However, his quote was the most thorough, but more importantly, I felt a great collaborative connection with him that I didn't get with anybody else. We recently had our yard cleaned up by Orlando and his team at Gomez Landscaping, and I can't recommend them enough! After meeting with several landscapers, Orlando's quote was by far the most fair and thorough. He came out for a free estimate and took the time to do a complete walk-through of both our front and backyard. He was full of great suggestions on how to spruce things up, and provided us with a detailed estimate along with a drawing--everything was clearly laid out, which we really appreciated. Two weeks later, his team showed up right on time and got the job done in just three days! They cleaned up weeds and shrubs in the front yard, removed a few dead trees in the backyard, and replaced our front lawn with Marathon sod and our backyard with St. Augustine sod. He was extremely knowledgeable, honest , gave me several solutions to choose from and didn't overcharge me.I decided to replace my wooden posts and keep my composite slats. His workers showed up promptly and were professional and respectful of my property. They removed the fence, replaced the posts,reattached my slats from the old fence, matched the previous pattern perfectly then cleaned up the dirt/concrete/wood from the repair like they were never there. We ran into a issue with the gate itself but Orlando solved that problem as well. The job was completed within 6 hours.. We were looking to add sod to our front lawn. We previously had a drought tolerant landscape with DG but the weeds got out of control and became too difficult to maintain. Orlando and his guys came out and removed all the plants & sprayed all the weeds first, a week later they returned and removed all the DG and leveled the front yard with top soil. And the day after that they installed the new sod. We decided to go with marathon because it's just for the front yard and wanted something that'll be green year round.
