He responded right away but said it would be two weeks before he could come back out. So I had to turn off the system at the main cut off at the street, and water by hand for an hour and a half each time until then. When his team came back out, they repaired some more things and left with the same issue, same station wouldn't turn off. He came out himself to check it and told me he thought someone, like the lawn mowing company we use, was going behind him and messing with the on/offs for the stations. However, that's not possible, since the lawn company hadn't been there between the time Shane's team left and when I discovered the issue wasn't fixed 3 hours later. In the end, I asked for just the last $145 of the $600 total we'd paid him and he stopped responding. $600 paid and we still had the same issue we started with. Friendly guy, but this seemed unethical by the time he started pointing at the lawn company and taking our money without returning calls or texts. Be very careful!
