Sunset off the center field warehouse.

In the year since my last review game experiences at The App have gotten better, for the most part. The beer selection is still mostly crappy American macros but the Craft Kiosk usually has local - or relatively local- beer on tap. That's a plus. Food-wise, the pizza has now switched from whatever it used to be (probably Gino's) to Husson's and while I'm not a fan my friends seem to like this change, so another plus. Which brings us to the PA system: somehow, it's gotten worse. The announcer has decided to add"character" to his player introductions, e.g "Now batting, number twenty two, Ro-BERT-to DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-AZZZZZ" And every player has his theme music. This is not a good thing. I'm now talking to the players: Look, kid, I know you're trying, but you're 18 years old and batting .222 in the lowest A-ball there is. You do NOT get to have "Enter Sandman" played when you step to the plate. Sorry, but NO. HOWEVER, there's now some occasional old-school organ music, often with a modern twist. Last Monday the organist played the title music to Game of Thrones during an inning break. That's almost enough to redeem the system. So, slightly better food and beer, worse PA in general, but cool organ music. I'm adding a star. For now.

Cool ballpark with lots of fun activities for families and young kids. Thursday is $1 beer and Friday nights is firework night. Staff are friendly and they have the best frozen lemonade drink for $4 to keep me cool and hydrated on these hi is summer nights. 2 concession stands and a gift shop for all your fan gear

A great and affordable night out with the family can be found here. Food at the concession stands are delicious and they lots of beer options to choose from. Lots of promotions each inning and not a bad seat in the stadium from what I can tell.

Sitting behind home plate near the toast man. Great place to enjoy the game.

Great place to catch a game. The up close nature of the park really adds to the atmosphere. Feels like a miniature major league stadium. Staff is friendly and the toast man is hilarious. Be sure to sit near home plate.

We stayed at the hotel right across the street from this so walking to and from the concert was easy. As this was the closest Chris Young came to our hometown in Charleston SC and we are up to try new new places, the 8 hour drive was nice; with little traffic the entire way. I do not know the seating capacity of this venue but would guess about 5-6k. We found getting in was simple; provided you come according to security protocol with little personal property. The drinks were reasonable priced at $7.50 per 16oz as were the tickets at $54 each. The restroom lines were a bit long but they supplemented with ports potties for those wishing to skip the wait. The seats were some of the best we have had for the price. The stage was supplemented with 2 large big screens off either side fed by at least 8 cameras that I counted. The sound was also good and balanced, compared to some places we have been. Overall, we will keep this venue on our radar for future events. Only drawback to this weekend getaway was that the town does not seem to cater to the events at this venue. When the concert ended, we could find several places to drink but no where within walking distance that offered food, with them saying the grills or the kitchen closed at 2200 or 2300.

Money was wasted and I'm embarrassed to know this is a hometown venue. My boyfriend and I will never attend this venue ever again, let me explain. I understand the venue had policies HOWEVER, The staff was the most rudest and unprofessional individuals I have ever met and I've been to a ton of shows. The way I saw you speak to the majority of us simply put, you were dicks. We were told ridiculous things like, you are in a fire hazard area while someone stood 2 feet away. Anytime anyone stood anywhere you were told to have a seat. I'm there to watch bands play, but no one could enjoy it because they were constantly having a bunch of piss ants jump all over them. This venue sold GA for the entire show but did not list this in the sale that the pit would be shut off as first come first serve. To everyone's surprise, you suddenly were forced to have a seat and told you couldn't stand. Who sits down at a metal show, unless you purposely wanted to buy seats?! Kicking people out for crowd surfing when the band was encouraging it? What a complete and utter joke, don't forget we help pay your salaries. I've read other reviews, this clearly is an ongoing problem so my suggestion, if your band isn't some country duo don't even bother with this pathetic place. They don't deserve the money and I regret supporting anything other than the bands.

The fact that this even exists is such a great asset to Beckley. I had been meaning to come here for years, but hadn't been able to make the time u til today. I purchased them tickets only through the website. The cost was between $7.50 to $10 per ticket plus some service fees. Not sure if the price would have been the same at the stadium. I had the option to either print my tickets or pick up at will call. When I got to will call they didn't issue me a ticket, they just said I could show my email to the people at the front to get in. There are several concession stands and food options which are more detailed on their website. The price varied a lot from very affordable ($2 for snow cone) to over priced ($3 for a bottle of water). However, the people are very friendly and the Eplings have created a family like atmosphere. There are no covered seating so bring an umbrella to block out the Sun or rain. Bleacher seating doesn't have backs but the "box" seating does. All seats have great views of the action and the field even over looks the mountains. Just don't park close to the stadium; there are several balls that leave the park and will hit your car if you're parked in the first 3 rows. Overall, I recommend this experience to locals and anyone just visiting!
