I love this cinema it was clean and the seats are really nice the concessions are nice and the movie quality is great I would always go there to see a movie read more

I visited this theater for the first time today. This is one of the nicest theaters I have ever been to! It should have a 5/5 rating. It looks like it has been renovated recently. Self-serve ticket kiosks make the ticket buying process quick and easy. You can also purchase tickets and choose your seat in advance online. The popcorn was perfect, reclining seats were extremely comfortable and spacious, and the theater and restrooms were both clean! read more

Some of the theater seat are very shabby. The trash bins are overflowing and should be emptied before the next show. But the main reason in today's comment is ... theater number 10 upper level. The last 2 time I saw a movie in there, I had to run out and tell someone the video went offline. Audio but no video. They came quickly BUT it's a bother to go all the way to the concession counter. Maybe they could install a hotline phone for such things, or a service buzzer near the theater doors. read more

The seating is awesome as they have electric recliners which are very comfortable. The only problem I have is the cleanliness. Under the seats it looks like a landfill. They have never been cleaned . read more

This establishment has been thoroughly updated with comfortable reclining seats in all theaters. The staff, especially the managers, are very friendly and welcoming. This is a great place to see a movie! read more

Every time I go the workers are nice the popcorn is great the seats are so comfortable and they recline and have seat warmers depends on what theater you are in great place to watch a new movie read more

The new seats are great, and I love that you can reserve your seats in advance. No more fighting for seats together on crowded days! However, the new layout in the front where you buy concessions and tickets is poorly laid out - like someone didn't actually plan it at all. Clumps of people group together or wander around, blocking ingress and egress and making it overly difficult to move around and find restrooms, drink machines, and even the ticket taker. The bathrooms were clean, but there weren't many stalls. There were no hooks in the stalls for jackets or bags. Only two dryers, and no paper towels. It was also very narrow so getting in and out of the restroom was difficult. We went on a snowy day, and it was freezing in the theater and even in the hallways. The prices for food and drinks were also disproportionately high. We spent more money getting a few drinks than on the tickets themselves. I know they need to make up for the overhead costs plus the renovation costs, but it's expensive enough that I saw plenty of people buying child drinks or getting water cups and filling them with cola. The drink machines were also out of most beverages in two of three machines. No straws. Few lids. Almost ran out of napkins. In the theaters, people had trouble with the concept of a reserved seat. Poorly labeled aisles added to the confusion. Again, great redesign, but it's halfhearted and missing some key elements. Some better staff direction, a snakeline at the concessions section, and better signage would help. read more

Nothing wrong with this movie theater, just nothing very special. It is hard writing reviews for Charleston, because I have to choose whether to rate it in relation to pickings in this city or in relation to all my experiences. If this movie theater was in any other big city (Tampa, San Francisco, Sydney, etc.) then I would give it two stars. However, for Charleston, I have to lower my expectations, because there is not much else here. The movie theater is on the smaller side. When I walked into the actual theater I remarked that I have never seen a theater so small before (although to its defense we might have been put in the smallest theater). There were only steps on one side of the theater. I didn't realize this until I walked all the way across a row only to find the wall. From the outside, the theater isn't pretty. It is very stark and flat. The architect did not really care about how it looked when he/she designed it. The theater was pretty cold. I ended up having to wear my outdoor coat. However, once I put it on the temperature was perfect. The theater is clean and nothing distracted me from watching the movie. I guess I'm getting too use to the bells and whistles of other movie theaters, but if you go back to basics of a movie theater is a place where you can watch a movie, then this fits the bill. read more

I must be spoiled from living in Columbus Ohio for the past 15 years, but when I visit my hometown of WV it's easy to get a baby sitter and get away for a movie and this is the best theater in the area but comparatively that doesn't mean much. The screens here are very small, when I was watching Guardians of the Galaxy some of the text on the movie screen was getting cut off because the screen wasn't the correct size for the movie format, so I feel like I got ripped off a bit as I didn't get to see "all" of the movie. The ambient lighting in the theaters is horrible as well. I usually like to come about 20 minutes late to miss all the previews and ads telling you to turn off your phone, the aisles were so dark you can't see where you're walking which makes going to the bathroom in the middle of a movie kind of hard especially if its on a dark scene. The seats are way too close together as well, like airline coach class close. This theater is in need of an update to be more modern and comfortable. read more

This is the best theatre in the region. Plenty of parking, the screens are great. People whom complain about the smaller screens came to the movie in its later weeks, that's why it's in a smaller theater. Their large and medium screens are wonderful, though. Plenty of space, comfy chairs and kept clean. The concessions are a pain, but it is a movie theatre. ;) read more

Was very taken away by the cleanliness and the updated interior. The chairs are state of the art recliners which are very comfortable. One of the best movie theaters I have been to in WV. Recommend this place to anyone looking to watch a film. read more

I Went here with my friends and the worker was a total douche bag and wouldn't give us a ticket

This theater continues to disappoint. My latest experience was over this past weekend when I went to watch a movie with my family. The four of us arrived with plenty of time to sit and chat while the commercials ran, and then the trailers. As the feature progressed, the man behind us talked on and off, but it became unbearable as he burped out loud several times, and kicked the back of my sons chair. I gave him a few looks, and shushed him to no avail. I then left to find a manager and told him about the behavior I had witnessed and he said he would take care of it. He did come in a witnessed this continuing behavior and then left. We finished the movie and I sought out the manager to complain further and ask that my tickets be refunded. I was told that the man who rude behavior I had taken was known well by the theater and was in fact Autistic. I was then told that I should have moved my family to a different area of the theater if I was offended. I was agasp! This was not the first issue I have had with this theater, but it is the last! read more

Recently renovated so seats are very comfortable however that's about all the nice things I can say about this establishment. Very poor crowd flow since renovation. Would not honor gift card despite no restrictions on card itself due to some new policy. Concessions understaffed. Beverage area poorly stocked and lobby filthy with popcorn all over the floor. Will not be back. read more

I'm going to pretty much second everything Kelli M. said about the place. It IS fairly clean and neat for a movie theater. The lobby area where you buy tickets has some old-style movie posters hanging up which gives the place a bit of flavor. Also, after I left my movie, some of the workers where by the entrance and thanked customers for coming, which I thought was fairly classy. The theater is also located in the nice downtown area of Huntington so you can easily make a night of this by browsing the good book store beforehand, dinner and a movie and coffee at Starbucks afterwards. The parking is somewhat of a challenge as anyone who has been to downtown Huntington knows, but spend a few minutes and you will find an acceptable spot. Overall, not bad for a "mainstream" movie theater. read more

Shows really good movies and the people who work their are really nice and the pop corn and the rest of their food items are good

I arrived 15 min. before movie started on a Sunday afternoon and the line was out the door and in to the parking lot (full of some major pot holes- watch out!). They have one person selling tickets so the line was slow and concession stand was even slower. The whole design of the lobby is horrible!Took forever to get a drink and popcorn- so much so I missed the beginning of the movie. Theater and carpet looking shabby and dirty. Every time I go there I notice the video shooting game in the lobby. In today's society is it really the best choice? It leaves an early unsettled feeling every time I see it. It was not a good experience and they need to have more people worked bf during peak times and invest in some updates. read more

My family and I go to this theater often. In all the years I've been going here I think I've only had 1 movie that was super messed up. It was a 3D film that wasn't rendered correctly or something. It's usually really nice. The workers they are always very polite. Of course the food is super expensive but that's everywhere. read more

Tons of improvements to this place recently. Inside and out. First, new pavement in parking lot. Then completely new lobby, completely new theaters, completely new seating. Only giving four stars because they are still upgrading and self-serve kiosks are getting kinks worked out. But I thought they have made good decisions. Smaller theaters (as crowds wane) mean potentially larger selection and ability to play same film in more theaters covering more time starts. Seats are wider, recline and are very comfortable. Renovations continue. Excited to see how they play out. Hope the crowds appreciate the new space and take the time to keep it that way by cleaning up after themselves. Staff seemed energized by the new look and feel; positive interactions with us from elevator up to before and after the show. read more

This theater has gone down hill over the past few years. Dingy, over priced, even charge full price for a pop refill. Theater is small. I would recommend trying to find somewhere else to go or rent a movie and stay home. read more

A lot has changed here since their recent renovation. The reclining faux-leather chairs are phenomenal to say the least. And...that's about it. They took a lot of rows out to make room for those seats, so the theaters overall seat less. Plan accordingly, as I've gone before to see an older movie and no seats were available for most of the films. The lobby renovations look nice superficially, but reeks of poor planning. When you walk in the doors, you're immediately cutting into a mass flock of people waiting in multiple lines for a ticket with only 1 person actually selling them. If you're a decent human, you walk to the back of the line, but I watched at least 7-8 cut the line in (?)confusion. Adjacent to that line (with no barricade) is another amorphous blob of people waiting in line facing the other direction for snacks where only 2 people at most are working. It took 10 minutes to get snacks and I was only 4 people back. The ticket seller wouldn't honor our gift cards for the movie we wanted because of a "new policy" that is not written anywhere on the cards when we received them. We ended up leaving with some cookie dough and a Fanta that cost us $23. read more

The main lobby has a old time theatre feel to it, which is great. The theatres are clean and the seats are very comfortable. It is conveniently located. The only thing I did not like is that they run the air conditioning during night shows, which makes it a bit chilly especially for the kids. read more

First time here and I was impressed pretty clean movie theaters nice staff lots of selections and pretty cheap 2 tickets and drink 19$ nice deal read more

Mediocre facility, not the safest area at night, and high concession prices. It's close to lots of restaurants and shopping though.

Two story theatre - which is cool. Concession stands on both floors - which is awesome. Concessions are cheap, but you get what you pay for. I usually skip the stand due to the cleanliness of this location. It just feels icky. Popcorn is cold, tasteless, and old. There's usually just as much on the concession stand floor as they keep on display in their unheated bins for consumption. While parking is plentiful, lobby space is minimal. Enjoyable atmosphere inside - lots of promotional material. Hallways are tacky - nonstop posters stapled onto the walls. Never had a service experience that left me wooed, but I've never had a service complaint either. Go somewhere else if you want a peaceful Rated R experience. Marquee doesn't card and the children know it. read more

I bought tickets online thinking what I printed off were my actual tickets. WRONG, I still had to stand in line, and give them my printed order form, which was then converted into the actual tickets. The entire reason I ordered my tickets online was so that I did not have to wait in line at the theater. I ultimately paid an extra $3.00 online for no reason. From now on, I will be attending Regal Nitro Stadium 12 to watch movies. read more
