Or it could be - it seems as a complete beginner, this game takes time to build the skills necessary to effectively practice. But if you are going to commit to becoming a better golfer, I can guarantee that you will leave from your first lesson with a new mindset, a solid grip, and an understanding of stance, posture, alignment. So we got "squeezed in" 30 minutes late and it was treated as a favor to me. When I asked for a bucket of balls ($15 on a $500 round for 4) the guy at the pro shop pushed back telling me he had no proof and this rarely happens. Yeah it never happens to me so that's on you. He finally gave it to me after a conversation. The tee boxes are really rough. With direct sunlight feels like an effort/cost saving measure, I'd understand if they were covered by shade and idk trees but that's not the case. Lastly the greens were just punched, which I understand this time of year, but they clearly cut back on the sand. Every other punch hole was empty of sand causing the greens to play like a plunk board. I give two stars cause the fairways and rough were decent. $125 really not worth it.

Then on hole number nine some ignorant yet again sorry excuse of a marshal comes up and has the nerve to tell us "Hey we need you to rush to get off this hole so you can get to the 10th hole before 5:30; we don't see an issue with you guys make it through but the group behind you wants to play the last hole before 5:30 so could you hurry it up?" Academy is one of Barbie's favourite companies and she actually introduced me to it the first time and takes me to Academy on a regular basis for sportswear, shopping and shoe shopping and whatnot. They're great store and sometimes you can find great deals here. At other times there are no deals to be found. It depends on the day and the store. They generally seem friendly, although I do think the company at the corporate level - which is represented by this page - does have several issues. I mean let's not forget this is the same company that fired somebody for physically stopping a criminal from stealing guns and ammo from a store in Florida. They're a multi-state multi-billion type corporation now and I can't give a company 5 stars that does that, but Barbie definitely gives the corporation five stars and loves visiting them on a regular basis, and I have to agree that they are pretty damn good. The venue is spacious, well-organized, and perfect for groups. The second time, I visited with my family and friends, and we had just as much fun trying out the different games. If you're planning to visit, try going before 11 a.m. or 12 p.m., as they often have discounted rates during that time, making it an even better value. At 4:15pm, I had my friend go back to the desk and that's when they sent us up, never acknowledging that we never received a text message. When we settled in, our waitress came over with some menus and walked us through the process. She made sure to let us know our time had already begun, despite the fact that we were waiting downstairs for the text message to give us the green light to head up.
