I am an avid golfer, playing approx 130 rounds per year on several of the very best courses in California. I had long thought taking a golf lesson without video is the biggest waste of time and money possible for anyone past the Charles Barkley level. The human eye simply can't work fast enough when it comes to a one second golf swing. Having experienced Golftec, I now think a golf lesson without digital video is the biggest waste. There are tons of available lessons that appear to be cheaper around LA, Orange, and San Diego counties. . However the Golftec software zeros in immediately on the problem areas, saving the time and money for the 5-6 lessons or more it would take with a non-digital video lesson before the main problem areas were even identified. I have taken lessons over the years from several instructors who worked with past and current PGA and LPGA playing pros. I was lucky enough to be assigned to Cody Botella a couple of years ago when I started with Golftec. He is at least as good if not better than any of the other big name instructors with whom I have been fortunate enough to have worked. If you really care about building a fundamentally correct golf swing I couldnt recommend anyone more highly than Cody. I would warn though that this stuff isn't a magic potion you rub on your head and suddenly you are shooting par every round. In other words, if you don't practice what they teach you, don't bother. read more
