Probably an odd starting statement for a 5 start review - but I think this is a great and unique…read moreplace but just not for me. --- Large area with multiple open bays and a great practice putting area, has more of a social aspect and I think it would be a great spot if you and friends wanted to rent a bay, or if you have kids and want to play with them on a simulator. I think if my kids were a little older I would really enjoy bringing them here. I booked one lesson and my coach was excellent gave me a great driver swing drill and identified a wrist hinge problem I had - I think it was well worth the price I paid for the lesson. So why wasn't it for me? I wanted an area for more focused practice where I just come in to my bay get my swings in and can practice with cameras and their competitor down the street fits that need a little better for me. They are very different venues and both have pros and cons - if you're like me and want a pure practice schedule with lessons then it may not be as good of a choice. If however, you want to bring kids or use the simulator with friends I think its a great spot.

After all my lessons, I can say this is the best investment in ANY of the money I've spent on golf…read more Dropped a bunch of strokes from my game (was high 90s, now hovering around 90 and threatening high 80s!!) , not losing anywhere near the number of golf balls due to errant shots. Makes going out and playing a round so much more enjoyable. Highly recommend GOLFTEC and Mike Deiters to really improve your game!!

I have completed 12 or so lessons and here are my experiences and I think what you can expect - and…read morewhat I would maybe do differently 1) I do well with the instant video feedback, more often then not I don't realize how jacked up certain parts of my swing are but when you can see it in front of you it makes a huge difference - I feel like Chris my coach was able to pick up a key or two in my swing to fix every time 2) The overall package prices are steep - no doubt about it, I picked up golf later in life after I finished residency/fellowship but certainly I wouldn't have been able to afford it prior to that. I didn't ask/enquire about financing or other payment options but I'd imagine that maybe is an option for some. However, if you factor in what I paid per lesson plus the 'free' 90 minutes of bay time a week it actually isn't a bad deal. 3) for me I took advantage of several of the fittings as well (driver, hybrid, woods) also they do have demo clubs of all the latest models so before I did my fittings I tried all the latest ping, taylormade, callaway, mizuno, titleist clubs during my practice sessions. 4) I would say you should have a good idea of what you actually want to work on - my mistake was working on irons every lesson for my first 7/8 lessons, I wish I would have sprinkled in a driver lesson earlier as I'm only really working on it now. 5) My kids are a little young to be golfing but I do see families come in where a teen is getting a lesson while their (presumably) parent is in the bay next door getting practice in which is also pretty cool - not sure how many places you could do that. There is some downtime typically when you are waiting for a bay if you get there early but the putting green in the main area is great so I generally just mess around there. My pro (chris) is great and certainly a lot of fun to work with would recommend him to anyone visiting.

It was one of those iffy spring days that turned out to be OK. Some of our party decided not to…read morechance it. We expected rain at around noon that never came, but ended up warming up to the point where we were peeling off a layer for delightful low 70s sunny weather. I learned to play in college but only pick up a stick once or twice every year. Still the education I got from the head Men's coach of our local community college is paying off 30 years later. The front nine are flat and open. The back nine is the older original course which is a little more tricky having shots from low to high and vice versa amongst older growth trees. We played best ball (3 vs 4). Chirp, Dick and myself against Dan, Matt, Moose and Tom. We a shot 64 with 6 birdies and two boogies for the win. On the 15th hole I tee'd off with an 8 iron for the "shot of the day", shooting within 12 inches to the pin. The front 9 played a little lighter than the back. Save your energy for the back. The club house had some really nice merchandise but are still posting signs out front for social distancing and limiting one person at the register although they said verbally to allow 2-3 people inside at a time. Things are opening up again. Each of the carts also has a plastic partition. The one complaint is that the plastic sheet acted like sail and wasn't fastened well so the wind would it flap into you. Hope to be back again soon.

This course is very unique, the front 9 is links style with water coming into play on several holes…read moreand the front is completely different with less water and far more tree trouble. It's an overall short course but the layout is so unique and the yardage is short which makes low scores a possibility. For 40 bucks this course is worth it. There's a few dry spots on the greens and in the rough but for the most part, putts roll true. Pace of play was good too, about 4 hours on a packed tee sheet. I love playing here and I will continue to play here.
