I came into this store with every intention of walking in, pointing to a shoe, being like "I'll…read moretake this in a size 9" and walking out. It was clear as soon as I walked in that this was not THAT KIND of establishment. It's not enough for you to think you know what you want, they want to make sure you buy what you, your body, your legs and feet NEED. Christine, the sales person, was very intentional and methodical. She measured my feet, even though I knew my size, she checked my arches, she watched me walk, looks at my steps, and how my ankles and feet moved and asked why I was in the market for new shoes. Then she selected what she thought I needed based on my needs and my build. In the end I tried on seven pairs of shoes. I walked out with the shoe I wanted but not because I wanted it, because I knew they were the right shoe for me. Christine was unrushed, patient, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in making sure i had the RIGHT SHOE. I've worn them every day since I bought them two days ago and my walking routine has improved so much! I also ended up buying sunnies, anti friction balm and a foot massager. After her great service just buying a pair of shoes did not feel like enough!

Truly exceptional golf experience! We played Friday based on my boss's recommendation. As soon…read moreas we parked, a friendly gentleman drove to us and gave us his golf cart. We gave him our tee time, went inside, and checked in with another friendly gentleman. We were early, and they had an opening available, so they offered it to us. The starter was exactly what a starter should be. . . . He explained basic course rules, gave tips, and offered expectations/reminders about fixing ball marks, pin placement, repairing divots with sand, pace of play, etc., which I appreciate. I wish all courses were better at this. A few holes into the round, another friendly gentleman drove by and offered cold water. At the turn, yet another friendly gentleman in the snack shop made a sandwich and a burger very efficiently. A friendly marshal pointed out two wayward tee shots near the end, and I complimented him on the entire staff being so friendly. He said the Head Pro would love to hear that. We finished, went inside, and had a pleasant conversation with the Head Pro. Oh, and by the way, the course itself was fantastic! The layout was challenging, but fair. The conditions were outstanding! Even the sand bunkers were in good shape and raked, which hasn't been the case at quite a few Cincy courses. The Superintendent definitely knows what he's doing! Virtually everything about this experience was awesome! We can't wait to go back!

We were going out of town on the 26th and the locking mechanism on the Thule Pulse didn't work. After working with it for close to 2 hours, we went to the Montgomery store and Scott (Store Manager) was INCREDIBLY helpful. He couldn't get the lock to work either and they had a different Thule carrier in stock that we replaced the Pulse with. Scott helped unload and load the carriers, was incredibly accommodating and stayed past his time to leave to ensure we were taken care of. Scott and his staff at Montgomery are the epitome of great service and dedication to their craft. I can't say the same about the folks at Beechmont's Montgomery Cyclery, but Montgomery will have a customer for life! Thanks to Scott for ensuring we had what we needed and our family was safe in our travels.

The first words out of the employee when I walked in the door was, "what do you need". I asked him to do a tune up on my bike. Not any other words except asked for my name and number and said it will be about a week. Secondly, I received a phone call 9 days (Saturday) later and was told my bike was ready. I went in on Tuesday and my bike was still on rack and hadn't been repaired. Waited an extra day (no problem on my part). Went to pick my bike up on Wednesday and again instead of a nice greeting, what do ya need? Told the store employee I was there to pick up my bike he asked me my name and he retrieved my bike and no other words except the cost of repair. As the store employee was running my card I asked about the tape on my handle bars not being wrapped properly, metal was showing from the handle bar and I asked if they used electrical tape to secure the handle bar tape and he replied yes. I thought he might say something likely me fix it before you leave. People, bikers, do business elsewhere these guys obviously hate their jobs and don't really care about your business. Good businesses greet customers with a pleasant welcome of some sort. Good businesses communicate throughout a business transaction. Good businesses fix things they mess up or overlooked, especially when it is pointed out to them. This is a bad business.
