I can't believe that this has not yet been reviewed. Ahh, the virginal review. Easy access is had to this location from I-295 or I-95. In either case Route 37 will bring you where you need to be. Plenty of parking in their lot. The original GW was bought in bankruptcy by a California company and they retained the GW name. They retained the same terrific staff. Jeff Kinsley, the manager is a scratch golfer, very knowledgeable and an all-around nice guy. You can get fitted for clubs - they carry all of the major brands (mens and womens), irons, woods, wedges, used clubs, putters, balls, apparel (Nike, Taylor Made, Callaway, Mizuno, Footjoy, Adidas, Cutter and Buck), hats, push and pull carts, shoes, balls, tees, umbrellas, bags, training aids, they got golf stuff! Six bays in the back to hit balls into nets. Not the same as being on the course but it will certainly give you an idea of whether or not you like the look, feel and performance of what you have in your hand. Prices are very competitive. Selections, knowledge and service better than the chain stores. Quick example: I bought a pair of Footjoy shoes there and slightly less than a year later they were tearing out inside the heel. I asked jeff about it in passing and he said to bring them in. He sent them to Footjoy and they sent me a new pair. Jeff did not have to do that but he did. The extra yard. Service. Relationships with customers. Now that is what keeps business coming back to GW.

Good place with good workers. I shop for used clubs and balls all the time here, and they're always helpful and accommodating.

The store is HUGE ! It's part of the Dick's Sporting Goods brand, so your loyalty reward for Dick's works here. The amount of golf apparel and clubs is amazing...the store also offers lessons, fittings and simulator rentals. I checked their Clearance section and I found some great golf tops for my nieces at 90% off from their retail prices...so I got two nice looking shirts for them and I was a happy customer !

To my surprise, the store wanted to charge me sales tax again, even though I had already paid sales tax when I purchased the original putter. I wasn't asking for a refund or upgrading to a more expensive club--just exchanging it for the correct handedness. when I asked why I was paying taxes again he said that didn't buy it there originally. The manager on duty wasn't willing to resolve the issue in a way that made sense, which made for a frustrating customer experience. For a premium retailer selling high end golf equipment, I expected much better customer service and a smoother exchange process. I enjoy shopping at Golf Galaxy, but this experience left me disappointed. I hope management reviews their exchange policies so future customers don't run into the same issue.

THE $99 SWING EVALUATION... A VERY EXPENSIVE TEASER/COME-ON FOR FURTHER VERY EXPENSIVE GOLF…read moreINSTRUCTION: * When I originally scheduled the Swing Evaluation, the fellow there stated that the cost would be a $90 special. * When I rescheduled the session by phone, the central customer service person clearly stated that the length would be 90 minutes, not 60 minutes. * I expected that the Swing Evaluation would include a check not only of my 7-iron, but of my driver and pitching stroke also. In fact, one of the Swing Evaluation images on Golftec's web site shows a driver swing being evaluated. * I read someplace that I was to bring _all_ my clubs to the session. My expectation was not only that more than one club would be evaluated, but also that the suitability of my Ping Eye-2 set would be judged. * Of the session yesterday, no more than half was devoted to swing evaluation. The rest was spent on instruction that started toward a complete "swing rebuild." Also, though I stated that my main objective going forward was use of Golftec Video-based Practise sessions, that equipment was never demonstrated. * I had stated both to the RI scheduler and to the instructor that I was a "geezer" who couldn't manage a total swing rebuild, even half-joking that the pro I might be compared to should be Miller Barber. I was clearly given the impression that instruction provided could be tailored to a "senior" with a "paunch". It is now evident that Golftec instruction is in fact highly standardized for golfers at a very different stage than I. * Before yesterday I'd never signed up for almost $400 in professional services with so little disclosure of its specification, terms and conditions. The only documentation provided - two pages of pricing options - was vague at best. I did subsequently cancel that instruction package.

Such a fun place to hang out with friends or coworkers! Service is usually quick and very attentive…read morein the bay areas, although it seemed a little less so on my most recent visit. I seem to only come here in extreme weather - on a freezing day on January, we were able to stay warm from the heaters that blast from the ceiling, even though you're 60% outdoors. However, when I went in the heat wave last week thinking they'd surely have just as strong air conditioning, I was sweating like crazy. There doesn't seem to be any air conditioning in the bays, and the fans rotated and only hit you briefly before moving on - not super helpful. I wish there was a better way to regulate the temperature in the heat. The appetizers are amazing here despite my incorrect assumption that it'd be mid bar food. I, unprompted, will rave about the queso here to anyone who even so much as whispers the word "Topgolf". The pizza was kind of meh, it reminded me of middle school cafeteria pizza (which hey, sometimes I'm in the mood for that, but it was not super fresh seeming?) We got a big assorted platter and the Mac n cheese bites were yummy, although I wish they didn't have a bit of kick to them. They really need a marinara sauce to come on the platter to dip them in though- the salsa it came with wouldn't go (and wasn't amazing), and the ranch also on the platter felt like creamy overkill to pair with them. The pretzel bites with cheese dip are the perfect size, never too dry or salty, and the dip is incredible, just make sure you eat it before it cools and gets harder because it's significantly less yummy that way. The donut bites with syringes of different fillings (what a fun format!) are a MUST, my coworkers and I have almost gotten into fights over the last shot of creme filling LOL I got the Tito's Mango Frozen Lemonade and it was fantastic, not too boozy (which was perfect for my needs) and helped cool me down. I always want a Jack and Coke when I'm here for some reason, but they only have Pepsi, and it's just not the same (and far inferior, let's be honest). The games are fun, although the instructions on the new soccer game they added for the World Cup and the Angry Birds games are not very clear and left our party confused. I've never handled the booking process, but it seems the standard time slot is 2 hours, after which the screens promptly boot you off. This never feels like quite enough time and I always wish we could stay for 2.5 or 3 hours! The parking lot is spacious and bathrooms are always clean. It can be a little pricy but they run promos. This would be a great spot for a birthday party, friend reunion, or I've been on multiple work team bonding trips.

They have one size basket, which is the size of your typical large, for $10. They take cash and card. The balls are dispensed from a standard ball machine with the range token they give you. The staff consists of one college kid working the window. No complaints there at all. What I really didn't appreciate is coming here mid morning on a Friday and having to listen to some guy who wants to be the father of the next Tiger Woods coach his kid on how to swing a golf club. Do that at home. No one wants to be subjected to that. Shut your mouth, put your phone away, and stop making this a terrible experience for the rest of us. Based on that alone I don't see myself coming back here. Update after leaving: The crappy conditions are enough of a reason not to come back. They do not have gnats. What they did was took the grass carpet and cut it into squares. You have to pick the ball perfectly clean or risk hurting yourself or damaging a club. The balls are among the worst I've ever seen at any range. One and five is either cracked or cut by a mower blade. The range ball machine has been dialed back not to fill up the basket all the way. Take that for what it's worth. All in all I really did not enjoy my time here and consider it a big waste of money.
