I went to Golfers Warehouse tonight, with a friend. Decided to try out some drivers, I'm looking for a new one. Let me start by stating that I am a woman golfer, been playing about 20 years. My handicap is 22. I asked to try out 2 , that I had been looking at. Now, let me also point out that every time I have gone into this store, I have always had to ask for help, because obviously the sales people don't think women golfers are worth their time. I did try the drivers, however received no feedback from the young man who was supposed to helping me, his name was Mark. Here's the thing, I play on 3 leagues, mixed, and ladies. Let me also say, word of mouth goes a long way. Get with the program, we ladies don't appreciate being treated like we are invisible. Oh, and I've had 3 holes in one.. how many men can say that. Just saying.... We're not all interested in the cutesy little outfits, etc..... some of us take the game seriously. read more

I knew this place has always been here but I live in Attleboro and it is a bit of a ride, but worth the trip. They have the latest and greatest at really good prices, not to mention a huge selection of attire, including a wide selection of Travis Matthew, my favorite! I bought a driver and 3 wood Ping demo at the end of January, which they offer a wide array of different brands at great discounts. After taking it home and hitting it at an indoor simulator, only to find out that I did not like the sound of the driver. I took them back and they gave me a full credit. I can't believe that this has not yet been reviewed. Ahh, the virginal review. Easy access is had to this location from I-295 or I-95. In either case Route 37 will bring you where you need to be. Plenty of parking in their lot. The original GW was bought in bankruptcy by a California company and they retained the GW name. They retained the same terrific staff. Jeff Kinsley, the manager is a scratch golfer, very knowledgeable and an all-around nice guy. You can get fitted for clubs - they carry all of the major brands (mens and womens), irons, woods, wedges, used clubs, putters, balls, apparel (Nike, Taylor Made, Callaway, Mizuno, Footjoy, Adidas, Cutter and Buck), hats, push and pull carts, shoes, balls, tees, umbrellas, bags, training aids, they got golf stuff! Six bays in the back to hit balls into nets. Not the same as being on the course but it will certainly give you an idea of whether or not you like the look, feel and performance of what you have in your hand. Prices are very competitive. Selections, knowledge and service better than the chain stores. Quick example: I bought a pair of Footjoy shoes there and slightly less than a year later they were tearing out inside the heel. I asked jeff about it in passing and he said to bring them in. He sent them to Footjoy and they sent me a new pair. Jeff did not have to do that but he did. The extra yard. Service. Relationships with customers. Now that is what keeps business coming back to GW. read more

I called Golfers Warehouse today at 4 p.m. And asked if they had a certain Taylormade golf bag. They told me they did and they would put it aside for me as I would be driving over an hour to get the bag. I got there and the young kid couldn't find the bag. He asked the older man. The old man told me he didn't remember anyone calling in about the bag. He asked the color and I told him and he said someone came in and picked the last one up that was on hold for him and not me. I said yea I called and it was on hold for me. He said well the last one is gone. This place is a terrible place. Customer service is terrible. Unbelievable. If I could I would give it zero stars, I would. I have walked in to Golfers Warehouse looking to buy a full iron set and a driver. Every time I walk in I can never get any of sales staff attention. I believe the treatment is due to being a younger Latino male. I have watch sales staff purposely avoid me. I ended up buying my golf equipment online. Today I went in to get a iron reshafted. After waiting at the tech area for 20 minutes, making eye contact with staff member, and being ignored, I left. Well if you're a woman golfer and want to go in here to buy something be prepared to be ignored. On my recent trip to golfers warehouse I was looking at a new set of clubs to purchase since my Taylor mades are getting old. I went to look at clubs and waited for about 20 minutes and waited some more. Not one sales person acknowledge my existence in the store. I know men are the prevalent buyers of golf Equipment but this is a growing Sport for women. I have been golfing for 20 years. It still astonishes me that women are still ignored. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Went in on Thursday after breaking my old R9 in a scramble the day before. As I browsed multiple drivers, I was waiting for a salesperson to help with a demo. The 3 on the floor were more interested in talking to each other than helping a customer. When I asked if I could demo Epic, M1, M2, Ping G one of the sales reps simple pointed to the hitting bays and sarcastically said, "did you not see the testing center?" before turning his back on me and returning to his conversation. He didn't ask what clubs I was interested in, my handicap, or offer to show me how to use the demo technology (which I have no idea how to use). State of the art drivers are high ticket items, so I am amazed that the level of service is so poor. Furthermore, I made it clear that I was BUYING a new driver as opposed to simply shopping for one. The place is a mecca for golf gear, but customer service is absolutely horrendous. I left immediately and dropped $762.87 at Dick's for a new M2 and Scotty Cameron. I want other customers to know that I could not have been more satisfied with the service I received from the lady at the front desk and three other sales people in the store that day. If you are a female golfer - go elsewhere! The staff were rude, condescending and obnoxious to me during my visit today. The young male cashier with red head totally ignored me and waited on a male customer even though I was ahead of the male customer in line! He then laughed when I inquired and was rude. I tried to get assistance with a putter and new golf clubs, all staff were standing around until a male walked onto the putting green and hitting area. I normally don't write reviews, so the fact that I'm logging on here to write this should tell you something. First, the girl up front was very polite. She said hello when I walked in the door with a smile. After that, not much else in the way of a positive experience. I had gone in to have my clubs re-gripped and was also looking at picking up a driver to replace my older Big Bertha. I grabbed a few clubs and noticed that the golf bays say you need to ask for assistance before using them. I found a gentleman working on some clubs, and asked if he minded if I hit some balls. I think he said "ok", but I could hardly tell because he muttered and gave the impression that I was bothering him. I went and hit a few balls, and noticed the monitor was not working. Being that I felt as if I was a burden, I just stopped hitting them and put the clubs away. As I was walking out I noticed he was at the front counter with the girl who greeted me earlier. I heard a few "f bombs" come out of his mouth. Just seemed like a miserable guy honestly. I made sure to make eye contact before leaving and the girl once again was friendly enough to say "have a nice day". I was prepared to drop $500-$600 when I walked in, and will never set foot in this place again. I know of a place closer to home that I'd rather give my business to, but wanted to check these guys out because they are close to where I work. Their prices aren't that great either so this is a clear "one and done" visit for me. read more
