At 85 years old, my father-in-law's PT Cruiser fell into disrepair. It was leaking oil and coolant, overheating, and struggling to start even though the engine was replaced just two years ago at a Chrysler dealer. The car's value is completely sentimental, the cause of the issues was unclear, and PTs are notoriously difficult to service, so we were uncertain if it was worth repairing. Gere Auto took time to talk through the details of work and potential costs every step of the way, and also pushed the engine manufacturer to cover some work under warranty. Their highly skilled mechanics were able to diagnose the issues, make the necessary repairs, and even correct poor work by the dealership. The final cost was very reasonable and less than we initially expected. The PT is running nicely, and it's been a pleasure to drive this summer with the convertible top down!

I had plans to move out of state 3 days after the bracket snapped. Called them up, after talking to various shops, and had accepted I wouldn't be leaving on time, as I didn't have access to my own welder. Low and behold, they said no problem and booked me asap. Let me drop off right then as they are close to me. Told me it would be done next day. Welding "got done" and then everything got delayed by the brake lines delayed arrival. No worries there as it wasn't necessarily their fault. YOU KNOW WHAT IS? The so called "welds" they did, were as I noticed from the beginning, super sloppy, and I wasn't happy already, but that pales in comparison to the convenience of getting it done so fast... OR SO I THOUGHT. These buffoons decided it would be a GREAT idea to use a sideways bolt as a bridge for the gap in the hanger. It's a very simple L shaped hanger that could be either repaired properly or completely fabricated in under an hour by somebody competent. You won't find that here. Competence is apparently not in their job description here. Taking advantage of you rich folk who don't know much about your car. Please do yourself a favor and go to issaquah or redmond, don't even trust these guys with an oil change. Also contacted them after the fact, and the guy I had been dealing with Iliya, acted like he would do something and felt bad, and had me text photos of the broken weld, and zero response. Nothing. Don't make the mistake I did. Go to Kings Auto instead…read more I spent $910 to not have the problem fixed. They put in faulty spark plugs in my engine which happens. It's not always possible to guarantee quality of parts. The unfortunate part is that error led them to believe the old coils then needed to be replaced, so I paid for that (+$293) and when that didn't fix the error they suggested the new coils might be bad. Rather than bring it in a 3rd time, decided to take my car to Kings auto. Alan found the problem within a day and gave me new spark plugs (+394). I went back to Ryan the owner of NB auto and asked him if he'd be willing to make things right. Not only did they install faulty parts, but that also led to additional work that was unnecessary. He refused to refund me for anything beyond the spark plug parts and oil change -$160. If I never went to Kings auto for a second opinion I'd still have a check engine light and be paying more have the coils checked etc. Kings auto costs more, but nothing compared to paying for work you don't need. The owner Ryan prioritizes his bottom line over customers, which is his choice. As is mine not to go back.

The guy at the front desk (I think his name was Bobby) was great--super friendly and easy to work with, which made the whole experience even better. That call never came. I followed up at 11:00 AM -- they said they'd call back. Nothing. Called again at 1:00 PM -- "the tech is at lunch." Still no update. They promised another call within 30 minutes. Never happened. By 2:00 PM, my brother-in-law had to drive there in person just to get an answer. They told him it would be ready by 4:30 PM (they close at 5:00). We arrived at 4:45 PM -- only to be told it wasn't ready and we'd have to return the next day. I explained our mom was in the hospital and we urgently needed the car. They said it was "half done" and couldn't be released -- no apology, no urgency. I had to walk to the shop the next morning to retrieve the vehicle. They gave us a 10% discount, but honestly? Not worth the stress, wasted time, and total lack of professionalism. Bottom line: If your time matters or you need clear communication, take your business elsewhere. This shop does not respect your time, your needs, or basic follow-through.

They informed me versus told me and gave me the option on whether to have it taken care of. They provided a price breakdown with the new service. I didn't feel pressured to get it done. They are fairly priced compared to others in the area. We will continue to go back to them for car maintenance needs. Give them a ring and talk to them about your car stuff.
