I am writing this review to warn other customers about my experience at Toyota of Renton…read more I went to Toyota of Renton for a routine visit, and during that time they told me they tested my car battery and said it was failing and needed immediate replacement. Based on their diagnosis, I was advised that the battery was at risk and should be replaced. Trusting their professional opinion, I immediately went to Costco and purchased a new battery. Since my original battery was still under warranty, I returned it to Costco for a refund. However, Costco tested my old battery in front of me, and the results showed the battery was in good condition. They tested it two more times, and all results confirmed the battery was good. To be absolutely sure, I also took the battery to a separate independent repair shop, and again, the battery tested normal with no issues. I later returned to Toyota of Renton to speak with the service manager. The only response I received was a printed battery test result from them. There was no explanation, no accountability, and no resolution, despite clear evidence from multiple independent tests showing the battery was fine. I have kept all printed test reports as documentation, which clearly show conflicting results between Toyota of Renton and multiple other professional testers. This experience caused me unnecessary stress and wasted time, and it seriously damaged my trust in this dealership's service department. I strongly advise other customers to be cautious and seek a second opinion before approving any repairs or replacements here. I will not return to Toyota of Renton in the future.

I had an 8:00 AM appointment for A/C service and needed the car back as early as possible. They had it done well before lunch. Even though I came in for A/C, they did a full diagnostic and pointed out a few things to keep an eye on--but didn't try to upsell me at all, which I really appreciated. The guy at the front desk (I think his name was Bobby) was great--super friendly and easy to work with, which made the whole experience even better. It's also an employee-owned shop, and you can tell they actually care about doing solid, honest work. I'll absolutely keep bringing my vehicles here and would recommend them to anyone.

Unreliable, Unprofessional, and Zero Follow-Through…read more My sister scheduled a 10:00 AM drop-off the day before. We arrived on time and were told we'd get a call in 30 minutes with a quote. That call never came. I followed up at 11:00 AM -- they said they'd call back. Nothing. Called again at 1:00 PM -- "the tech is at lunch." Still no update. They promised another call within 30 minutes. Never happened. By 2:00 PM, my brother-in-law had to drive there in person just to get an answer. They told him it would be ready by 4:30 PM (they close at 5:00). We arrived at 4:45 PM -- only to be told it wasn't ready and we'd have to return the next day. I explained our mom was in the hospital and we urgently needed the car. They said it was "half done" and couldn't be released -- no apology, no urgency. I had to walk to the shop the next morning to retrieve the vehicle. They gave us a 10% discount, but honestly? Not worth the stress, wasted time, and total lack of professionalism. Bottom line: If your time matters or you need clear communication, take your business elsewhere. This shop does not respect your time, your needs, or basic follow-through.

As we're 50 miles from their shop, we send the serial number and ask him to check CarFax and validate his offer, which he does. We could not have been more explicit or thorough. We got there at opening at 10am as he requested. He was late and told us he has 4 things going on, and we'll need to wait. 45 minutes later he tells us his "assistant" misinterpreted the mileage and they couldn't pay us anything close to what he offered. The mileage was clearly stated in the ad, and the CarFax shows the same detail. If you know anything about the car business, this is standard unethical, sleazy business practice that is very intentional. It's bait and switch to take advantage of people. He didn't apologize, and he didn't try to make it right. In fact, he acted like he was the customer. Collectively, we spent 8 hours and 180 miles on this waste of time. If this is what the Harnish family business is all about, then there's some serious issues starting at the top. On principle alone, I would not do business with these folks.

We worked with Joaquin Sheckler. They had the right color and model we were looking for. It was less than the same car from multiple other dealers by a bit. So we worked the deal and drove home in a new Trailseeker. It was a good experience overall factoring in Gabriel's and Kelly's help and I highly recommend working with them if you're looking for a new or used car. Kelly was amazing - 5 and thanks for helping and taking time to get a few things handed. Gabriel is a Rockstar - 5 we appreciate your help throughout the whole process. Joaquin - jury is still out.

Save yourself the frustration and avoid Rairdon's Subaru of Auburn…read more On September 27, I called ahead regarding a 2014 Subaru Outback. The salesperson confirmed directly with both the General Manager and Sales Manager, Michael Choi, that the vehicle was available on a "first-come, first-served" basis, as a prior interested party had no deposit or active agreement. I arrived at 1:30, completed a test drive, agreed to the purchase price and to buy the vehicle by 2:15. The salesperson then requested Michael Choi initiate the purchase paperwork. I checked on the status of the paperwork at 3:00 and was told Choi was "trying to smooth things over" with the previous interested party because they were upset the car was being sold. Then at 3:15, we were suddenly informed the dealership would not sell us the car because the other party was en route. When questioned, Michael Choi falsely claimed the other party had a deposit (which makes no sense, why would he need to "smooth things over" if they already had a deposit and the car wasn't available?) Choi then produced paperwork that explicitly confirmed the prior deal was unwound, rescinded, no funds were held, and no agreement existed. Despite his own dealership's documentation proving the car was unreserved, Choi refused to honor our agreed purchase and denied ever confirming its availability that morning. When confronted with these contradictions, Choi leaned forward aggressively and stated, "I don't care if I sell that car. It's just a pile of metal to me." It became blatantly obvious that Choi kept us sitting in the showroom for an hour under the pretense of preparing our paperwork while he used our deal as leverage to get the other party to add $1,000 to the purchase. Although Rairdon's Customer Satisfaction Manager asked me to delay posting, potential buyers deserve to know how this dealership operates. Management uses deceptive statements, unethical sales tactics, and exhibits severe unprofessionalism. Take your business elsewhere.

While my car was at the shop, one of the employees came out and told me they had broken one of my lug studs. He initially said it would cost $90 to fix. When I asked why I was being charged for something that happened while the car was in their care, I was told it was likely because a previous mechanic had overtightened it. That explanation did not make sense to me because I had personally torqued the lug nuts to 80 ft-lbs with a torque wrench before bringing the car in. The vehicle had also been parked in my garage for several months and was in proper condition when I brought it to the shop. A few minutes later, the manager came out and said the repair would actually cost around $400 because additional work would be needed. That sudden change from $90 to $400 was very frustrating and made the situation even worse. This is also not my first issue with this location. In the past, I brought my truck in to replace a TPMS sensor on the left rear wheel, but the sensor was replaced on the right rear wheel instead. Overall, I was disappointed with the service, communication, and accountability. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop.

Marysville charges me $105 for a full oil change with tire rotation, 360 inspection and I have never had any issues or increases in prices even when I had my last Toyota. I have since replaced the 1 COIL PACK and my Armada runs good as gold again, kinda funny it didnt need a whole motor replacement. After speaking to the manager a couple days prior to taking it in to this mom and pop shop, he told me to bring my suv back so he could personally look at it. No apologies no nothing. This man, his employees and this Nissan dealership are crooked! They will 100% steal your money lie to you about whats wrong with your vehicle and show you pictures of something wrong on a completely different vehicle and claim its yours and then tell you to replace the motor for 22,000 plus dollars. Absolutely do not trust your vehicles here or at least get a second opinion before trusting them with your car. This place deserves absolutely 0 stars they are lying, conniving and manipulative. I took my 2017 Nissan Armada in to this dealership because my check engine light had just come on the week prior and when I ran the codes at O'Reilly it said to replace the cam shaft positioning sensor, so I took it in because after some research it look like a little bit more difficult of a job and figured the dealership could at least tell me the actually diagnosis as that code could mean a couple things. I took it in and dropped it off they called about 2 hours later saying that they couldnt diagnose the problem but that it would need a new engine more then likely. I asked them why they thought it needed a new engine if they couldnt diagnose the problem and they said they couldnt be for sure it needed one since they couldnt diagnose it but they were pretty sure that what it needs. I picked up my vehicle up within a few minutes and the service guy at the front showed me the picture I've posted above saying that there's a yellow film in my engines oil and thats never a good sign that this is why they think it needs a new motor. I asked them to email it to me (which they never did) this all happened end of March 25, 2026 Fast forward to this week 4/20/26 I pulled the engine cover off my vehicle so we could start to flush the engine (as we were advised) and I called the dealership today yo ask them to again send me the pictures of my engine that they took which after 10 mins on hold a different guy gets on and goes "oh yea you had the armada right, i dont have pictures?" Then after a minute goes "oh yea I do I'll send them again right now" as soon as looked at the pictures I knew these pictures were not of my truck as the last picture of the all black oil intake is the picture i took from the engine. They lied about diagnosing the problem then took a picture of a different vehicles oil intake and tried to pass it off as mine. Then charged me over 200 for the service of doing absolutely nothing. I will be filing a formal complaint with nissan! DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLES HERE THEY ARE DIRTY LYING POS!
