Goldstar Cleaners is close to my office. I tried them when I have a lot of shirts, a few suits and other items for laundry and dry cleaning. The owners have run the location for many years. It wasn't clear if the cleaning is environmentally friendly. The pricing is ok although I didn't see a sheet with clear costs for different items. The turnaround was a bit slower than other dry cleaners I have gone to. The parking lot is shared with a lot of other businesses in the strip they're part of. read more

The other thing I love about her is you can tell that she wants her customer to be 100% satisfied by giving direct suggestions (ie. Bring your belt in with pants for alternation because the pants will hang a bit differently than if you hold them up). Gold Star Cleaners is a NO STAR!! I've been going to Gold Star Cleaners in Parker for a few years and always had good experiences, as they used to offer friendly, courteous, professional service. Until this Saturday, 11/30. Last year I took a coat in to have the cuffs re-hemmed. A week later upon pick-up I checked the left cuff (presented closest to me), paid for the alteration and left. I wore it for the first time earlier this week and noticed that the right cuff had not been hemmed. Aaaahhh, these things happen. Figured it wouldn't be a problem once I explained. Even laughed when telling about the oversight. Gave the two women at the desk my phone number, to which my name promptly came up, and was told it would be $28! Why? Both cuffs should have been done at the same time. I was told they had "no history"!! How could my name be in the system but not have any history?! I then tried to explain that it was the petite woman manager/owner who originally took care of me. One woman pointed to the other and said, "She owner." I then proceeded to tell them I had been doing business with them for years. I've had three coats and one jacket altered/repaired, not to mention numerous items dry cleaned. At that point the "owner" turned her back on me and walked to the back of the store. Perhaps they're under new management. But even if that's the case, I will never go back. So disappointed in these ladies. Dry cleaning is okay but have no accountability for their mistakes. I took a couple blazers to fit the sleeves and they called me a week later saying they needed me to come back again because they were not sure about the length. Well, I was there a week ago and they took my measurement, it was their mistake. I have a baby and pregnant and needed this blazer by that time, it was delayed 2 weeks and they had no accountability. I had to drive back with my baby while being pregnant just because they messed up and messed the date as well. they were rude and did not give me any compensation or discount for this. I was so amazed they don't care about their customers at all. They will mess up and say that is not their fault. Terrible business. They also messed up in a date for dry cleaning and thank God they had written down the date in a paper. Not honest people. read more

I came back to pick up my items and they were both cleaned and the yellow stains were gone, they profusely apologized and offered me a free cleaning next time I visit. Although they couldn't get my ink stain out and it did bleed a little larger, I understand mistakes happens and not all miracles are possible. Not sure why but it has always been so insanely hard to find a good dry cleaner in every city I've ever lived in the US. This time though I did look at Yelp for a while before taking my clothes to Goldstar Cleaners and man, I am so glad I did! Took a suit, a delicate dress, and a white button up shirt that had some unidentifiable dark spots on the back somehow... That one is still a mystery. The prices were reasonable and somehow they managed to get those dark spots out! The owner said she washed it three times to get them out and they were all finally gone. I really appreciated the effort they put in to actually thoroughly cleaning everything. All other cleaners I've been to in other cities (disclaimer: I'm new to Denver/Lone Tree and this is the first cleaner I've been to in this city) have always been disappointing - either my clothes would be wrinkly, they would still have spots and not be thoroughly cleaned, or the best is when my clothes' stitches or zippers would be messed up and the cleaners wouldn't take the responsibility... Anyway, so glad to have found Goldstar Cleaners! The only complaint I had was that, even though the underarm marks were gone from my dress (wore it for a wedding and the weather was unexpectedly hot), one could still kinda, just very mild, smell a tiny bit of sweat but only if you put your face super close to the underarm area. I think this shows they weren't using too harsh chemicals or scents because of the delicate nature of the dress and I can appreciate that. Besides, if someone's face is that close to my dress I probably would have other problems. Overall, I will definitely be back and would recommend that you give this place a try for your dry cleaning needs! read more

I brought in a couple of shirts that needed to be cleaned and pressed quickly. JaHee understood the rush and had it ready very quickly. Because they were so well done and in such a hurry I decided to come back. I just had a shirt and a jumpsuit cleaned. The jumpsuit is white and I work it on a night when it was snowing. I managed to get muck on the belt and on the back, really no surprise. I personally have tried to remove that gunk and I've never had any luck. JaHee told me that if it didn't come out the first time they would try again. I mean, I was prepared to live with it for the life of the jumpsuit, but they got it clean. In fact, it's beautiful! This is not only the best cleaners in Parker, it's one of the best businesses. It's family owned and you can tell the time and pride they put into the quality of their service. They are incredibly friendly, my clothes are always ready on time and perfectly cleaned. They are not terribly close to my home (there are at least 6 other cleaners closer) but it's worth the drive to know the quality is their priority. It's rare to find a gem like this. Here's the lowdown: 70% of all dry cleaners uses Perchloroethylene (PERC) which causes brain damage, 25% uses hydrocarbon solvents (better than PERC) but is still classified by the EPA as a volatile air contaminant (VOC), the remaining 5% uses GreenEarth which is an environmentally non-toxic dry cleaning process that replaces petroleum-based solvents with liquid silicone (100% odor-free). GreenEarth Cleaning is a license affiliate with around 20 participating locations in the Denver area. GreenEarth Cleaners in Castle Rock is one of them. I don't know what process Goldstar uses but I chose them for the convenience of Sprouts next door. The owners are indeed friendly and I paid $8 for a dry cleaned jacket. read more

Took them back, and asked to dry clean, they refused and said we put the stains on the clothes and proceeded to let me know we shouldn't care due to the age of the clothing. When I lived in Littleton, I would drive across town...Ja Hee is amaxing with her alterations as well. I ripped my favorite shirt on the sleeve, she turned it into a short sleeve shirt that i wear now in the Summertime...They take tremendous care of my clothes!
