Nulu's newest fan favorite! Coffee, fun kicknack perusing, fantastic pistachio cookies, and all with kind staff? Its perfect! We enjoyed two medium seasonal iced coffees - the salted honey with oat milk. Needed a little stir to pull it together but that's easy peasy! Plus walking around and pointing at the trinkets inside is half the fun.

Goldie's is an inviting coffee shop and store in Nulu with a beautiful interior. The exotic food selection is fun to peruse through and the seating area is very nice as well. That being said, the coffee is very average.

What a gift to NuLu! Goldie's recently opened, and I had to check it out. This spot is a mix of gift shop, grab-and-go food options and coffee shop. And there's something to love about each. First, the gift shop: This spot is packed with so many neat finds, many either made locally or items that would be locally cherished. Fun takes on cookbooks, candles, cooking items, homegoods and more. This would be a great spot to duck into if you need a gift for someone who loves Louisville or who you would like to share your love of Louisville with. Second, grab-and-go: Goldie's has a few fridges stock full of drinks -- some of which are local -- candy, pasta, sauces, dips and more. I doubt a stop here will satisfy a need to go to a grocery store, but you could easily find some fun sides for a party. Last, coffee: This spot is complete with a cute coffee counter. Its menu included some seasonal faves as well as coffee staples. I got a chai latte that definitely hit the spot. Goldie's is such a fun addition to NuLu, and one that didn't really exist like this before now. Can't wait to come back, perhaps accompanied with a visit to next door Bar Nada Nada.

Super cute women owned business! Cute little coffee shop with small market vibes. All Louisville companies from what I could see. We got the seasonal drink lavender white mocha (hot for a chilly day) and the ham and gruyere croissant. There is seating both inside and outside depending on weather. The market sells all kinds of picnic/ charcuterie supplies and lots of options for wines/bourbon but what really excites me was the whole section of Non-Alcoholic drinks! So many options which as a mocktail lover is a major bonus point! Really happy we stopped in as walking by. This will be a normal stop for me!

Came here while out and about this morning and had such a nice experience. We ordered 2 seasonal drinks, the orange mocha and the speculoos latte. Both were great but the orange mocha was our favorite. We also got a snickerdoodle cookie to share which was incredible!! The staff were incredibly kind and patient and we loved the building's interior and exterior. So cute and the perfect sitting area for enjoying their menu items!

Possibly the best coffee shop in the ville? Just a quaint and pleasant vibe with solid coffees and cool shops. Music is hit or miss

Have you ever stepped into a place and thought, "Yes, this is my kind of place"? I came for the…read morecoffee, but I stayed for the chicken's feet that would grant me protection and luck for only $5, the multiple sage bundles to cleanse my chakras, and the incense sticks that might remove a hex or give me divine powers once burned. Witches Brew is a place to find all sorts of magical things, but it is also just a divine (in every sense of the word) place to sit and have a hot beverage and a pastry. It's worth a visit to this coffee shop just to see the decor. It's purple everywhere, with mood lighting, mirrors, gothic tchotchkes, creepy dolls, skulls and other fun and slightly ominous curio. There are cool things in every corner, and even though I had intended on getting my coffee to go, I decided to sit for a while because coffee sometimes just tastes better when you're surrounded by cobwebs and broomsticks. I got an Americano, which is usually my go-to if I don't know how strong the house drip will be. The Americano was nice and smooth. I didn't have to wait long at all for my coffee. I visited on a weekday during the morning, and there were two people ahead of me, but the line went fast and my coffee came out quickly.

I recently stopped by Witches Brew Coffee, and it was definitely a unique experience. The whole…read moreplace is themed around witches, and you can tell they have really committed to it. The walls and every corner are filled with witch-related artwork, decorations, and even merchandise. It's fun to look around because there's something interesting everywhere you turn. The coffee itself was pretty standard, nothing particularly standout, but the atmosphere is really what makes this place special. If you enjoy spooky or Halloween-style vibes, you'll probably love it here. They also offer free Wi-Fi, so it could be a good spot for studying or getting some work done. Personally, I found the ambiance a bit too spooky for focusing, especially at night. I am just not a big fan of that kind of setting (haha). Overall, it was a good experience and definitely memorable in its own way. I can see why people would really enjoy it, so I'm giving it 5 stars! And server was very nice.

3.5 After being…read morerushed out of TJL, my party walked across the street to try and salvage our meet up. As Louisville natives, a trip to HB made perfect sense. In a world of celestial dollar chains, choose your bro. Many Louisvillians do but it should be more. Slight rant over. To the surprise of no one, a HB Highlands location (Mid City Mall) was packed. This worked to our advantage because it gave us plenty of time to peruse the menu. Yes, I know the usual staples but I am wont to choosing seasonal delicacies at coffee shops. Everyone's had coffee. I want to know what makes you special/different. Being the holiday season, I opted for the peppermint pattie cold brew -- to go. It was an unseasonably warm day so getting a cold brew in winter wasn't entirely unhinged. The ordering process was seamless and polite. I paid (for my crew's drinks) and stepped off to the side to wait. After a reasonable amount of time, the drinks were ready. Being that the drink was to go, I didn't have the option of judging it by appearance. It smelled nice, though. As we left and I took a sip, however, something was missing. It was creamy and chocolatey but I tasted no peppermint. Like, none. Which is an issue for a peppermint pattie drink. My palate is fairly discerning. And peppermint is a fairly distinct flavor. I took another sip. Nope. Again, creamy, chocolatey and coffee...y, but no peppermint. Being that we were out the door and down the street (and the place was packed), I didn't return to address it but it was a minor let down. That said, I happily drank the coffee. Rounding up so as to be aligned with the good vibes of the season. Hopefully karma is circular.

They seemed annoyed we were there rather than excited to serve the customers that provide them job security, but hey it's kinda the norm for the younger generation I suppose. If you like be treated like "you don't belong here, you're not good enough to come to our establishment" by some snot nosed college kid, this is your place! Personally, there's a few other a little ways down the road away from the bardstown area that are much friendlier with WAY better coffee. Oh yeah, the coffee was mid. It was just ok. I wouldn't return for it but I'm also not mad about having tried it. So if it's all you have, close, in a pinch, it's good enough.
