If I lived in Lou, I would make it a point to stop into this adorable wine shop every single weekend. Our friend recommended we stop by after having lunch at LSM, and we simply fell in love with its artsy interior and specially curated wine selection. Their back patio was still open, so we took advantage of a sliver of late February sunshine and sat outside with a round of drinks. Note - we ordered cocktails from their pre-set bar menu, we didn't order a bottle of wine. They do have a corking fee if that's the route you decide to take. We also indulged in a couple of freshly baked macarons - which I don't eat often enough! At 1 p.m. on Saturday, they even kicked off a complimentary wine tasting, which was a fun, impromptu experience to add to our little weekend visit. We sampled two different wines - one white, and one red. I love learning about what the type of wine I'm trying, and they're expertly educated staff was able to explain to us all about the grapes used, and their origin. I have a feeling we'll absolutely return to The Breeze the next time we visit Louisville!

This little coffee bar and wine shop is one of my new favorite places in the city, hands down. Not only is it so, so cute, but there are so many fun items, knicknacks, foods, bevvys, chocolate, charcuterie accoutrements, and more to look at and choose from! They serve bloody marys and more in the morning and there's even free wine tastings most Saturdays. I learned recently that there is a whole seating area out in the back. Its sister natural wine bar is right next door (The Canary Club) and you can access them both from a shared door inside.

The weather hit 70 degrees in Feb, which means we take a trip to The Breeze! I've saved this place since before it opened, and today was the perf day to pay a visit. There are 4 patio seating in front (kinda loud bc of passing traffic), but they said that the patio out back will be opening soon. The sommelier, who is also the barista, was super nice. We got a decaf affogato (option btw vanilla gelato or chocolate hazelnut, which was out) and a decaf cortado. Coffee is a bit on the higher side but the quality's great since they use Deeper Roots beans. I only checked out the coffee bar side so I can't speak for the wines but it looks like they have tons of options & dogs are allowed on the patio! Free street parking as well.

Went for the coffee which was good but a tad bitter tasting. The inside was so cute and the people working all seemed really nice

They also have coffee, niche groceries, a great selection of wine, and great food from local vendors (Louisville Cream, Lotsa Pasta).

It was so chill with plenty of fun decor and a nice collection of board games. A plethora of plants were for sale. My husband had a panini, and I couldn't believe the affordable pricing for that and my iced coffee. I would come here all the time if I was local. Ample seating and quick service make this an excellent stop for anyone looking for a coffee on-the-go or a relaxing coffee date spot with friends. Additionally, Historic Old Louisville is a great area to walk around for travelers who love looking at historic neighborhoods. My go-to has become an iced americano with whole milk and raspberry. It's got a little sweet fruity kick, but a nice depths from the espresso. A super inclusive vibe, lots of opportunity to enjoy evening activities like open mics, poetry, etc. And a good playlist humming along in the background.

This shop taught me that an iced lavender latte can be divine, and I indulged in one this weekend. Still delicious! I do wish they offered larger drink sizes. Their largest option is a medium compared to other shops. Parking can be tricky. It's a small parking lot so you'll likely have to maneuver parking on the side streets.

I asked my friend to come here since it was on the way to another destination. It is definitely a unique little building. The inside was rather quite interesting, one side is the coffee/bakery/market side. The other has inside seating. We definitely looked around and at the menu to decide what we wanted. They have a cooler in the middle of the store for drinks. Since we were in a hurry (to get to our destination) my friend got a bottled glass coke and I got bottled glass Fanta. The employee behind the counter was quite interactive and was interested in knowing what prizes we got after getting the stamps on the passport. I wish we weren't in a hurry otherwise, would love to have sat down and enjoy an iced coffee and maybe a bakery treat. There's always next time.
