They right sized my project and priced their work fairly. My kitchen overlooks the area they were working. So throughout the day I could see their diligence and attention to detail. It was quite a task, especially the removal of the original adhesive but the were total pros. When I called the owner back in the morning to inquire about adjusting the time slightly (less than an hour), he became extremely hostile. We have a narrow, 1-lane driveway and I was simply trying to adjust the time he'd arrive so he didn't have to move his vehicle/equipment for us when we left for work, daycare drop off, etc. His response? "No. That's stupid, why would you want me to come any later?" I explained our situation and that we simply wanted to be out of his way with all of the coming and going in the morning. He told me that it was ridiculous to "expect him to wait outside my house for 45 minutes" even though that was not at all what I was asking to do. I stated I was simply asking for the time to be pushed back so we'd be out of his hair. He told me that I should "just leave right now (6am) to go to work and take my sleeping infant to day care" if it was "really that big of a deal for me." Also, for what it's worth, my home is less than a minute from their "office." I told him I was no longer comfortable using his service and that I would be canceling. I work with contractors on a daily basis and I've never had one speak to me in the unprofessional manner he did.
