I reached out to Rainforce Irrigation hoping for a full inspection of our system and a plan to get it fixed. Raul responded quickly and came out the next day. After confirming that the design was not ideal, he gave a detailed and very reasonable cost to fix it. He even coordinated with another contractor friend to take out and reinstall part of our patio so he could run a larger water line. Only time will tell, but I feel confident that we are finally going to have a beautiful lawn this summer with sufficient water flow and all new sprinkler heads that actually cover our lawn!

We received quotes…read morefrom four (4) reputable companies in the Northern Illinois area and Moreno's was the least expensive (by several hundred dollars). Carlos was extremely knowledgeable about lawn sprinklers and was able to walk around our yard and figure out (in his head) how many sprinkler heads (rotators and spray heads) we would need to effectively water our lawn and flower beds. Afterwards, Carlos and his wife, Maria, sat down and prepared a written proposal on the spot! Most other companies got back to me several days later with a quote... Carlos and Maria were very pleasant to deal with and we could tell they really cared about the customers. They repeatedly thanked me and my wife for the "opportunity" to do work for us, knowing that we had many options when it came to our irrigation project, but ultimately chose them. They were very responsive to emails and phone calls during the planning stages (securing a permit through the Village on our behalf, etc.) When it came time for installation, they hoped to have the entire project done within one day, but it took longer than expected... Maria brought us homemade tamales (just because) and they were absolutely delicious! The weather didn't cooperate for about a week (freezing cold and rain), but the following week they came and finished the job. This time Maria brought us Mexican pork and vegetables, which were amazing! What customer service! After the installation was complete, Carlos and Maria walked around our property, explaining how each of the watering zones were configured and the amount of time each zone would be watered for. We had a WiFi controlled installed as part of our packaged and Maria directed me to a YouTube video which cleared explained the configuration for the initial setup. We have had our sprinkler system running for over three (3) months now and absolutely love it!! It has been working perfectly, with no issues, and we by far has the greenest, lushest lawn in the neighborhood! After two weeks you couldn't even tell the lawn had been dug up with the vibratory plow to install the hoses and sprinkler heads! By the way, most of the other estimates were quoted for 15-20 more sprinkler heads than what Carlos installed for us...which I think would've been way over-kill! All areas of our lawn and flower beds are appropriately watered and I have no idea why we would've needed that many sprinkler heads. I would hands-down choose Carlos and Maria from Moreno's Irrigation for your lawn sprinkler needs. They are a hard-working family who genuinely care about their customer's satisfaction!

Who knew that there were so many issues involved with installing an irrigation system; Multiple permits, a property survey, flagging for underground pipes and complex outdoor plumbing. Victor coordinated all activities and made sure everything was done correctly. The system is installed, controlled by a modern mobile app and works like a charm. It so happened that before Spartan left, We had a plumbing leak caused by a loose connection behind a wall from our upstairs bathroom causing water to drip through the ceiling. One of Spartan's crew diagnosed the problem, fixed the leak and patched the ceiling so that it looks better than before. Great people, top-flight, professional service. We first met Mark Soave, the owner, in May 2017. We liked his ideas and so hired Mark to build a…read morerounded patio with a seat wall and four pillars with lights. It is now Sept 2020. Our patio is good-looking, mostly, but the steps were finally COMPLETED YESTERDAY and BY A DIFFERENT COMPANY!! During the last 3 YRS AND 4 MOS. we have called, emailed and texted Mark to come back and fix the LOOSE PAVERS ON THE STEPS right outside our patio door. They were loose from the start. It's a SAFETY ISSUE. Quick with a response, he'd say, "You're at the top of my list."(5-13-19) or "...I'll make it my top priority."(also 5/13/19) or "I didn't forget just not enough sunny days..."(6/7/19) or "I haven't forgot[sic] I'll do it soon."(7/13/19), among others... That last quote came in response to the news that our 9 y.o. granddaughter had FALLEN due to those loose pavers!!! These UNSAFE STEPS' appearance is an embarrassment to me. Every single triangular/corner paver was installed chipped. AND Mark left OWING US $400 for the pillar lights that were in his quote, but we purchased ourselves. Oh, and he also left a LARGE PILE OF WHITE ROCKS in the adjacent lot. Again, even after threats from a neighbor, more excuses. Do I need to tell you that it's still there?? We can only conclude that Mark Soave of Naper Lawn Works is: a LIAR, and a CROOK. DON'T TRUST HIM!
