A very small mall, connected with a Barnes and Nobles and Ross store. The food court is small and looked like the most popular food place was Italiano. It was unique to see other vendors in the middle with their own stalls set up which I don't typically see at malls in Houston but it was a small stroll. Everyone seemed to go to Ross or B&N. Lots of kids running around as well. read more

I ordered some shoes from in store on 11/21 to have delivered to my home. I realized that they were taking some time to get delivered. We go to the store today to see why we haven't received the shoes yet and was told that the shoes weren't able to be fulfilled and I had to contact customer service to get my refund. I didn't understand that because I paid for my shoes in the store, but I contacted customer service. Customer service said they they couldn't issue the refund because I purchased the shoes in the store. I had customer service on the line with me while at the store and he told the store that they needed to be the ones to refund me since it was an in-store purchase. The store employee said that he couldn't because it wouldn't allow him to when he scanned the receipt. Customer service is escalating this to corporate but in the meantime I'm sitting here without shoes or my money. Now I have to inconvenience myself and dispute this with my credit card company. read more

This mall has so much potential I do not understand why they do not utilize it. The mall is in a great location. However there are maybe three stores worth going to. There's nothing worth trying at the food court. This mall could really benefit from having stores like Nike, Levi, Vans, Earthbound, etc. read more

3-26-2022 First time at this mall, joined my partner for the card show/comic con weekend event. This event brought some crowds to the mall. Vendors set up in the aisles and some celebrity signings. The mall is one story and overall small compared to others. There are still some big stores here. Dillards, H & M, Barnes & Noble, JcPenney, Victoria's Secret, Pink, Ross, Bath & Body works, Conns, Fitness connection and a Movie theater. Auntie Anne's near the fitness connection. There is a massage place near Dillards. A piano player in the middle corridor. Stores were stocked, clean and orderly. Pleasantly surprised the Dillards had a mens section for brands Hurley, Volcom and Quicksilver, dressing rooms were open and the staff was friendly helpful and knowledgeable about clothing materials and shrinkage. They had a Vera Bradley new Disney design in the purse/bag section. I will mention while shopping in the Dillards, I noticed the presence of security that felt like they were following me from dept. to dept. If you like the quick in and out type of mall, this is the place. read more

Pros: not crowded, fairly clean including bathrooms. Cons: not enough of the more popular stores, not much of a food selection at the food court, small dirty theater. I mean it's a great place if you know what you need and it's a quick stop but if you are just wanting to browse and shop as you go then you should go to a different mall, like Grapevine mills or the Frisco mall. They need to add on to this mall or take out the less popular stores and replace them with something else. read more

This is a pretty small mall but the only major mall in the loop 288 area. They have Macy's, Barnes & Noble and other well recognized stores here. The food court is pretty disappointing but I guess they don't get enough traffic through the food court to get more well known restaurants to want to open here. There's plenty of parking and it's always been clean when I have been here. There's a few closed stores in this mall but at least it seems to be consistent and there doesn't seem like there are more stores closing. read more

One choice in the food court, with that being Pizza. There are numerous empty storefronts, a sad departure from the glory days of the past.

With seven anchor stores (Barnes & Noble, Macys, Dillard, DSW, JC Penny, Sears, and Ross), you can usually find what you NEED at Golden Triangle. The thing is, if you don't need anything, you probably would not WANT to visit this mall as it just isn't all that great of a place to walk around and shop. Recently, some of the odd specialty shops have also been disappearing, leaving empty storefronts that give a more derelict feel. I was about to give two stars, but I do like the Barnes & Noble, so three stars (barely) from me. read more

This is a pitiful mall, the worst I've been to. Granted it comes in handy in a pinch when you're a student in Denton but that's about it. The only decent stores are H&M, Victoria's Secret, and DSW in my humble opinion. There's only two options in the food court which I've never tried. You'd think because there's two universities here they'd get more stores which would also help with adding more jobs for college students here but no. It's just better to make the drive and go to stonebriar or the shops at legacy. Also, they put on local events here. I've personally worked some beer tasting event with vendors but they have other events as well. The events are kind of sad too. read more

I don't like malls and this one is by no means my favorite. However, I've come more in the last few months than the entire time I have lived in Denton prior, because they have added some things I can't stay away from, so I figure I owe them a review. The mall is small and easy to cross. This is great for someone like me who just worked 12 hours and has to hit up two stores on the opposite side and wants to get home ASAP. This is not ideal for the mall walkers and it's not ideal for those who wanted to spend a day shopping, it would be over too quick. I guess you got to figure out which one you are. I used to hate the JCP here, but it's a little better since their remodel and worth checking out. It's close to a very decent Barnes and Noble and a Victoria Secret. The Auntie Anne's in that part of the mall is well above average and I am completly obsessed with the Le Macaron next to the JCP in the center court. That's the entire reason I started coming back to this mall and will come specifically for macarons! Having all those items so close together allows me to get in and out in a reasonable time and that's pretty beneficial for me. Across from there is a large Dillards and the movie theater is right next to it. The other reason I would come here, I just discovered recently, is the food court across from Ross and by Sears. It's also near the Hot Topic, Spencers and Bath & Body Works. The food court entrance is directly next to the H&M entrance and has a fountain out front. The food court is so small, there are very few options. However, the Italia Express is outstanding and worth a visit for eating there alone. It's actually too good for this mall, or any mall, you have to stop in and see. As malls go, I think this one is lucky to have a few gems in it that make the visit worth checking out the average stores inside. Once in the mall, you can fill most of your needs though. It has your typical Macy's, DSW and Payless Shoes, as well as formalwear stores and jewlery stores. I imagine it gets busy around prom, graduation and wedding season. There are also some restaurants, phone stores and a bank just outside the mall, in the same parking lot. The parking lot is large enough for their needs and very easy to navigate. read more

I was disappointed to see that this mall has only gone downhill from when I lived here in 1998-2000.., and let me just add that the "downhill" analogy is almost inaccurate, since they were already nearing the bottom of that hill around 1999 or so... However(!), I will say that I happened to wander back in this establishment at the lowest point of its renovation (not even a food court to be seen of any sort). Keeping that in mind, I know that they have made progress with said renovations, and I am hoping my next shopping attempt here (I'll have to be feeling very adventurous), will be much more fruitful! *I will also underscore what other reviews have mentioned: this mall still has potential, mainly due to its robust anchor stores (B&N, DSW, Ross, Sears, and a few other popular dept. stores). We are from out of town and we drove into this mall. We were at JC Penny in Denton and I was looking at a set of pans for a friend of mine. I saw the brand Cooks and I saw that the sign read : Reg. 40.00 Sale 11.99. Well the pans were regular 40.00 so I thought these must be on Sale. It was a Labor Day special. The whole rack was for pans. I get to the register and the pans were scanning at 29.99. The young lady called the Mgr to come and verify the discrepancy. The mgr. Minnette came to the register and had an attitude. She said no, these are for 29.99 I said but that's not what the display states. We walked over to the display and she said, look it says tools and gadgets are on sale, "YOU DO KNOW WHAT A TOOL AND GADGET IS RIGHT?" I responded yes, I'm not STUPID! I then showed her the display which had NO tools or gadgets, just pans. She walks away from me even though I was trying to explain that there were no gadgets just pans under this display. I was asking her what her name was and she raised her arm and waved me off and said, I'm not arguing with you and just walked away. Not only is this woman a pathetic manager, she has no class, no morals. She has no clue about customer service. I don't understand why they would put someone in a position like a mgr. to represent a major store like JC Penny. I did report her actions to headquarters because I feel someone owes me an apology for the way in which I was treated. I hope that one day she realizes that if she wants respect she should give others respect. I can only imagine how she treats her subordinates???? Very pathetic behavior. I feel for the customers from Denton who live there and will have to put up with her bad and pathetic behavior. I'm sure there are people who have had bad experiences with her before, such as mine because I guarantee you it won't be the last time this happens. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LUFE!!!! Even supervisors are not helpful. Purchased earrings online. Hated them!!Didnt have packing slip but nobody thought to call credit services except me!!!! Took 45 minutes to retrieve order # so I could put credit back on my JC Penny card!!!Stupidity is normal here. NOT SHOPPING AT JCP ANYMORE!!! Management could use some simple customer service training. If you put half the effort into good customer service that you put into signing up new credit cards, you would have an unstoppable company!!! However, your sales clerks and even supervisors only do the bare minimum they have to in order to get by!!! SHAME ON YOU JCP. No wonder your company is failing. There's a Ross in the mall. I don't think I need to elaborate. On the plus side, it's the only mall in Denton and the closest unless you want to drive half an hour. There's a DSW right there and Barnes and Noble giving it a few reasons to go there. If you're hungry stop by El Chico! read more

I'm glad this mall is still around mainly because of the Barnes & Noble, H&M, and Bath & Body Works. Without the mall I doubt those retailers would be in town. But, this mall is pretty janky. They're really trying to spruce it up and make it more local or artsy or upscale or something, but that's impossible to do when 80% of your storefronts are cheap jewelry/phone case/sports memorabilia/boutique/off-brand toy store type places. They need a few more legit businesses in here. If you stick to the outer stores, you'll find everything you need and it's not bad. read more

Mall management is a joke. I suffered through the complaint process with them a few years ago, and they refused to do anything about a blatant problem merchant, other than assure me they wanted to kick him out and would do so at the earliest opportunity. Guess what? Recently went back (after a long absence, more than long enough for any contracts to expire and them to remove the merchant) and the scam artist was still at it! The physical renovations and facelifts do nothing if the corrupt and shady interior is left in place. read more

Undergoing renovations currently. They are adding and asking for our input on what stores we would like to see in there. If you spend $100 in the mall and take your receipts totalling $100 or more to Guest Services, they will give you a short survey about what shops you wish they had that you can choose to fill out or decline to. Either way they give you a $25 gift certificate for Luca Pizza, which is right there. That buys you a great big pizza with 3 toppings and 3 drinks. Great deal and gets your two cents in to them about what you believe would make the mall better. Win-Win! read more

We were in the area...why? Because this is by the closest Carl's Jr. and well, I had a hankerin'! I saw this mall and stopped by thinking my son and I could get a little workout in walking around and getting him some lunch at the food court. What a joke. This mall is small, seems an older type mall...I think I actually LOLed when I saw the TWO stores in the food court! They definitely weren't 3 year old, limited palette type foods either. They did have a little play area by the food court with some little ones playing. I did see a security officer patrolling the mall...both good things I feel. McDonalds, Carl's Jr. and I think Panera Bread is near/outside the mall so that opens up lunch options a little bit. read more

Hmm...Not a whole lot goin' on up in this place! I've never been to this mall prior to a few days ago when I decided to stop by Macy's on my way home from UNT. The Macy's was okay, I actually found more stuff at this location than I've ever found at Stonebriar in Frisco. But anyway, I decided to venture out and see what else the mall had to offer. I was aware it looked teeny tiny, but you know sometimes you can find a gem hiding in something you'd assume will suck. Unfortunately, there was no gem here..just rocks. Most of the mall was filled with empty stores and the ones that were open were just random ones I've never heard of nor care to find out. I don't know if renovations or remodeling is planned in the near future; but for the sake of Dentonites, I sure hope they do! read more

Terrible mall. Very few stores to select from and the stores they do have seem to barely have anything in them. Although they do have a nice lounging area, this mall is garbage. I much rather go to Dallas or Arlington to go shopping than here. I come in looking for an outfit and left empty handed. read more

Very small Dillard's, the smallest I've ever seen. And there's not much in the mall. But considering the malls where I grew up were half empty and the other half had a mega church in it, it's pretty awesome. read more

Has to be up there as one of the worst malls in Dallas honestly. Barely has any stores except the main ones and surprisingly H&M. The atmosphere at the mall is non-existent. You would think college students would go hangout there sometimes on the weekend or something, but nope, no one is ever there. I hope as Denton continues to grow as a city, the Golden Triangle will develop or get remodeled and revamped to pull in more customers. Definitely need more popular stores at the mall and can even step up the restaurants at the mall too. read more

This mall has such potential, but no one seems to care much about it anymore. I live nearby with my young kids and it's nice to have an indoor play area to bring them to, however, no one ever seems to clean it. It's always got a film of dirtiness on it. It's highly disappointing. The Barnes and Noble in the mall makes up for some of that, but I wish the people who owned this mall would take more time and pride in it. read more

The remodel is taking shape pretty well, and the parking lot if getting better (especially to the right side of Barnes & Nobel). Inside, it is cleaner than before and better lit. The flooring and walls are brighter and more inviting. The food court (or lack thereof) is as confusing as ever. A couple of restaurants in the middle of the mall have closed, but it looks like they are being replaced by new restaurants so there will still be scattered food stands even though there is now a semi-dedicated restaurant area. This "court" appears to be almost finished with nothing more than 2 locations and a bunch of tables and chairs. Still a pain to get on and off the loop from the mall, and it doesn't look like anythings has been done to help improve the gridlock that happens at either of the lights. Holiday season will be just as disastrous with traffic as in past years. read more

Yeah it may be a dump but if you look closely they have all the stores you need. Plus they always have great sales at Gadzooks and hot topic, if you're in to that sort of thing. Also not to mention the huge DSW that's attached to it. Oh and Barnes and Noble and Ross you can't forget about Ross. The reason this mall has had trouble in the past is the unfriendliness to customers. My 2 1/3 year old plays in the play area and several times the mall manger or security officer goes into the play area to tell all the children to keep the noise down. This is too much to ask of 10 or more kids while they are playing. If they don't want noise they should have a play area. The parents to these children are paying customers and if they aren't welcome in the play area why should they shop there. This is just an FYI to people with children. Which is a very large population that shops at this mall. read more

It's definitely not the greatest mall I've ever been to, but it does have some alright stores. It's small and doesn't have much to offer, but I do use it for the Hot Topic clearance racks and the Gadzooks/Forever 21. Also, there's a Ross connected to it, as well as a Barnes and Noble. So it does have some small gems to offer. It also seems that there's always some sort of sale going on. read more
