She's only two years old and was not happy about having to get an X-ray and I couldn't be in the room with her because I'm pregnant, but all the nurses and staff were extremely patient and kind with her. My 78 year old mother presented to the ER with a severe nose bleed around 11:00 pm on June 1st of 2021. The rate of bleeding was filling up a normal bath towel every 15 minutes. First, they never took any vital signs. Her blood pressure was found to be high at the next ER she went to and her EKG was not normal but Golden Triangle ER wouldn't have known that because they never took any vital signs. They gave my mother some packing material for her nose which didn't last even 15 minutes due to the severe bleeding. Why did you not take my mothers blood pressure or do an EKG? My mother was having a heart attack and Dr. Barton literally asked her "What do you want me to do?" I am filing a formal complaint with the Health and Human Services Department and the Better Business Bureau. My mother could have died and they did nothing. They claim he offerred her an ambulance to take her to an ER that had an ENT surgeon. My mother says that is a complete lie. This was negligent at best and possibly malpractice if my mother dies. read more

While visiting in Orange. My 9 year old special needs son had a prolong focal seizure. Took him by car to the golden triangle er (Bc I could get him there fast than calling 911) Dr Sammy Yu was on duty that night. He was telling me how neglectful I was as a parent because I didn't call 911. His seizure wasnt stopping. ( he has focal seizures, not grand mal.- there's a huge difference) the decision was made to intubate my son to protect his air way and to breath for him because his oxygen levels weren't improving. After intubating, they did a CT of the head and a X-ray of his chest. After seeing the CT of the head. Dr Yu came and said " he has serious brain damage, and he will never be able to come off the vent." Back story on that: my child had a stroke before he was born and he has hydrocephalus. But he does really well and doctors can't explain how we got so lucky. Which I tried to explain to him, but it fell on deaf ears. Anyone with a special needs child knows that child better than anyone else. We ended up having to fly him to Texas Children's PICU. When we arrived at Texas Children's. Golden Triangle ER placed a call to CPS and said word for word what Dr Yu had said to me.. "delay in care for not calling 911 and bring him myself" "neglecting my child, my child will never be able to bring on himself" " not being "emotionally" enough. When CPS was reading me the reports, it was everything Dr Yu had said to me personally. My child was having a seizure, a machine is breathing for him about to fly him. meanwhile I have a Doctor screaming at me about how I neglected him! We were able to extubate him within 14 hours from arriving to Texas Children's- and he returned to baseline. During that day someone from golden triangle called me to get a status update I told them I do not give permission to have any info. I told them do not ever call to do any kind of update on my child. I'm at the nursing station a mins later and I overhear my sons nurse giving a current report about my sons condition! Which is a big HIPPA violation- on both nurses part! After a few days after being released from the hospital I placed a call to Golden Triangle- I needed this to be looked at. The lady that answered the phone is the Charge Nurse and knew what had occurred. I told her the problems with Dr Yu, the false CPS claim, the breaking of HIPPA. She said she would move this up and do some investigating and she would get back to me. That was over a month ago and I still haven't heard anything yet. read more

Wonderful people, quick service. We love Golden Triangle Emergency! Love not having to go to a huge Emergency Room.

I called for myself and explained my symptoms & that I do not have a way to get to their clinic until 7am since we are a 1 car family. I asked if they think what I'm experiencing is something urgent & would they SUGGEST I get seen right away or would 7am work (I called at 11:40pm). The lady listened to my symptoms then she ended up saying she is not a nurse so she couldn't advise anything then hung up. I called back and this time explained my specific question abt whether it's urgent or could wait 7hrs, this was when she said "I can get you on the phone w a nurse so you can ask her?" I said yes? Got transferred, then this 2nd lady said the nurse was w a patient so she placed me on hold, I waited abt 5 minutes then they hung up on me. I'm making this review to let this place know how poor customer looks bc that's what this was. I don't expect any place to give me treatment advise when they haven't seen me that's fair, but to not 1st say "let me get you on w our nurse so she can let you know what she suggests" would have been appreciated and useful from the start. It isn't hard to trouble shoot issues by pointing ppl in the right direction even without a nursing license, otherwise why are you even answering the phone/working at a ER clinic... read more

Very professional and courteous staff. Better than any hospital ER around. No long waiting, expedited quickly and seen by the doctor in a timely manner. Nurse Amie K. was very polite and informative. Visit was Wednesday morning before 10am. Would definitely recommend and spread the word. Also, COVID safe and preventative. read more

Was brought here after suffering an emergency at LSCO and have nothing but praise for the staff and the professionalism they showed me while I was there. They took excellent care of me and made me feel completely comfortable. The doctor who was on duty was very helpful explaining everything to me and listened as I explained what led up to the issue that I had. Would recommend this place! read more
