I don't even know where to start! This is the best dr office experience I've ever had in my life!…read moreUpon walking in, there is a warm waiting room feel with the usual magazines and television, but when you sign in, you will be greeted by the nicest receptionist and office staff!! Two sweet smiling Jennifers will be there to help get you in as quickly as possible! There has never been a time that Ive called and have not been seen THAT DAY!! They will work you in as fast as possible!!! You will not have to wait long before being brought to the back to the nicest exam rooms, full of great working toys and original artwork adorning all of the walls! The art is created by Lana Griffith herself, and it has such a cute and whimsical feel, as well as pictures of her family! (Which makes me feel so at home!) The ladies checking your vitals are always so friendly and smiling, making you feel like family. After a short wait you will meet Lana or Randall, who are genuine and wonderful people who actually care to spend the time getting to know your story, history, medical issues, etc! When walking out, you will feel thouroughly taken care of, and satisfied. For the kids, there's a great treasure chest full of goodies to choose from while mom or dad is paying! They don't even accept my insurance but I will go there every single time because of the happy feelings I have upon leaving! I have literally been in and out in 20 minutes before!! It's amazing to me! I've never had any problem they couldn't help me with, and all the while, giving me the care and concern of a family member. After sitting in waiting rooms for hours on end, waiting in the exam room for another hour, and feeling rushed the whole appt at most other dr offices, Griffith Family Health is a refreshing change! Do yourself a favor and check this place out! You will be happy you did.

Respect isn't hard and people should try to practice it, because it is a great gift to have . Treat others how you would like to be treated. It's plain and simple soooooo simple. Consider all the other things that are happening in the world today. And just stay as positive as you can because we never know how someone will come along with an very unpleasant attitude to treat us the way we have treated someone else. Drop all your ugly emotions and treat people kind. The office manager is very rude in a sarcastic way .

Was told to book an APPOINTMENT online when I called two hours prior to coming because I didn't want to wait 2 hours with a newborn. So I booked an APPOINTMENT (which it clearly states on their website) for 6pm. Got there just to be told it's not actually an appointment and I'd have to wait behind the 7 others that got there 30 minutes ago - and the wait was still going to be around 2 hours with 1 provider there. What a wreck. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere.

I visited this facility early March 2020. Before all the news about covid-19 hit the USA. I told…read morethe nurse practitioner that I was short of breath, had a cough, low fever, fatigue, loss of taste and smell. She told me I had a virus to go home. No tests were needed. I asked if she could order a chest X-ray and if I could get tested for covid-19 - or at least the flu. I tried to tell her I had recently took a flight to Miami, Florida to see family - but she cut me off, saying: my symptoms were not consistent with covid-19 & that she was not going to "waste a test on me". My husband and I were stunned at her response! She made me feel as if I was "acting" or "seeking attention". It was a HORRIBLE experience! The worst one I have ever had - To feel that sick & be treated so poorly by a medical professional. It's not right!!! In the end, she did order a chest X-ray, but did not do any other tests. She smugly told me that the x-ray was clear, "as she knew it would be". I went to work the next few days - I'm a high school teacher. Four days later my husband had to rush me to the hospital b/c I could not breath. I tested positive for influenza A, influenza B, Epstein Barr - & COVID-19! I was sent to Houston and hospitalized immediately. My husband had to contact the school. By God's grace, none of my students tested positive for covid-19. Hindsight is 20/20. I should have questioned her... gone to Beaumont for another opinion. But I trusted her b/c she is a medical professional! I've debated writing this review. I live in Mauriceville. My children have grown up here & I love my small town. My PCP is in Orange, my dentist in Vidor. So I did not want to cause problems. However, the lady that treated me should be aware that she was dead wrong & that her negligence could have caused an unimaginable amount of repercussions!! I could have died, leaving my husband and children alone. I could have infected all of my 157 students. I could have infected my family, friends... So many things could have happened. If she was tired, she should have gone home! It is my hope that the correct people read this review & that steps are taken so that this situation NEVER happens again!!!

Later I have come to regret not leaving and searching for a safer urgent care. adam P. also said he didn't need to wear a mask while draining a cyst behind my ear because Covid-19 was spread through lungs and was not spread through blood. Another nurse at Calcasieu Urgent care told me that all their employees had no Covid-19 symptoms and therefore didn't need masks and I should not believe Dr Fauchi at CDC.
