Things are definitely done differently at Jimmy's…read more While I was dreading the idea of having to visit used car lots, and negotiate, and everything else that buying a used car might entail, my experience at Jimmy's was entirely pleasant. They are professional, nice, smart, helpful, honest, and I didn't feel any pressure to make any decisions before I was ready. I not only got the exact car I wanted for a very fair price, but they offered to try to help sell my old car at no risk/cost to me. Given it's condition, my plan was to just donate it as a tax write off. It was a very generous offer on their part, and they sold it within two weeks. So basically I drove in with one car, drove out with another and they took care of everything else - title, registration, selling my car, sending me a check, and have been entirely nice and patient throughout the whole process. ...and I love my new car.

Since they couldn't find anything mechanically wrong, they didn't charge us for the diagnostic and instead honestly recommended getting the truck professionally detailed before taking it to the dealership if the smell persisted. Extremely disappointed with the service department regarding my 2024 Ford Bronco warranty claim…read more My Bronco's motor failed, so we brought it to the dealership expecting support and communication under Ford's warranty process. The service representative, Mauricio, informed us repairs would take about a month and promised us an update by mid next week (around 05/13). That date came and went with absolutely no communication. By 05/18, after multiple unanswered voicemails and no callbacks, I finally asked to speak to a supervisor. Suddenly, Mauricio was available to take my call. When I asked for an update, I was told the exact same thing we had been told two weeks earlier: "Ford hasn't approved it yet." I then asked for Ford's direct number so I could understand why my repairs were delayed. Mauricio provided me with a customer relations number and a repair reference number that he apparently knew would not work. After realizing I had been given incorrect information, I went into the dealership frustrated, understandably so after weeks of poor communication and feeling ignored. Instead of helping resolve the situation, Mauricio's attitude was essentially "back off and leave." I later contacted Ford Customer Relations myself and learned the truth: Ford Warranty was actually waiting on the DEALERSHIP to send photos of the motor. In other words, the delay was not Ford -- it was the dealership failing to do their part while I was repeatedly being told otherwise. Customers should not have to chase down answers, be ignored, or feel lied to. Communication, honesty, and accountability go a long way, and unfortunately I experienced none of that here. Very disappointed with how this situation was handled.

Update in response to the owner's reply:…read more I was present for both the drop off and pickup of the vehicle and directly involved in the entire experience. Attempting to discredit my review based on whether I physically walked into the office at every interaction is misleading and irrelevant to the actual issue. The issue remains the same: we paid for what was discussed as a complete diagnostic report specialized for this type of vehicle, and that is not what was ultimately provided. I also want to correct the owner's statement implying that I contacted the business offering to remove my review in exchange for a refund. That is not accurate. After my review was posted, the business directly contacted us and asked for the review to be removed in connection with offering a refund to resolve the situation. As of now, no refund has been received or posted despite that offer being made. I think that speaks for itself. My review was simply my honest experience and opinion regarding the diagnostic/report and communication during and afterward. I'm not interested in arguing online further -- I simply shared my experience honestly.
