YES!! Stay here. We were traveling south on the 101 redwood highway and needs a place to stay overnight. We pulled in to fuel up in Willits and reviewed several rv parks. The multi thousand acre ranch that this rv park is attached to caught our eye. It was after office hours so we pulled in, checked the board outside and identified an empty space with hookups. Had full hook ups and no cable or WiFi. We were backed in with a dry riverbed view. We saw deer, wild turkeys and other wildlife. There is a small pool there. We didn't use the laundry or showers. This is a great stop over or more place. $33 for a night. Your GPS is screwy with directions. If going south go about 1 mile past where gps says to exit. You'll see Ranch signs and the rv signs.

Really enjoyed the weekend here. Was close to the 101 but didn't hear the traffic noise at all. Our spot was shady all day. The pool and bathrooms were very clean. It's about 15 min to Willits. I loved the town and the people were super nice. Will stay here next time we visit friends in Willits.

The only downfall to this place is that there is very little cell phone service and zero wifi (you must go up to the laundry room if you want to use their wifi).

Special shout out to Louie for his continuous work ethic. We saw him getting things done no matter where we were on the site, ALWAYS. The hot tub monitor looked after the tub every day we there ensuring water quality and chemicals were exactly as they should be (we had one of the hope tub camps). Hiking, disc golf and an absolute classic old school pee wee golf course was clean and well maintained. Really had fun playing the 18 holes. Public clear water pool and hot tub. The little store is great with many necessities on hand. Well stocked with many things. The Arcade was ridiculous. 6 of the exact. same stuffed animal machines only there to take money. Can't wait till they upgrade it as it will be great when they do The only racecar machine was out of order. Really cool old town buildings. It's got tent, partial and full pull through hookup camp for any size campers or trailers. Public bathrooms, showers, dish wash station and laundry rooms were immaculate They also have a dump station. The grounds include a Skunk train station which is a Must do activity. We're going back for sure. Love it. Oh yeh. If you have an RC Car they have an amazing RC course which is very cool. And also a fishing pond where a license is NOT required Thanks Essie and Ashley and Louie and the rest of the crew for treating us so well. See you in Spring Matt & Stacy

STAY AWAY It might…read moreseem like just a run down spot, but they are having other problems. Angela seemed to be on her last nerve fiber when I called. She asked a lot of personal questions about my life, my RV, and so on. I asked what she needed to know and she said she had had trouble with people moving in permanently. I'm so sorry for anyone who has to live here! She also accused me of trying to use an expired Good Sam membership. Every part of the process, she treated me like a criminal instead of a customer. I gave her the benefit of the doubt given she said she has chronic fatigue. I get that but wow When I arrived She said she needed to pick the spot for me and even though the park was half empty the whole 2 night stay, put me right next to the loudest people in the park. When I called she was kind enough to offer me a different site, but she wanted me to camp next to the electrical transformer. I finally ended up in a corner she said was full of homeless people, which turned out to be cats. I was concerned about the possibility of fleas given the cats were sheltering under my RV and I was also feeling pretty sick at this site. The place is run down but I could tell that from previous reviews. It was relatively quiet in my corner with the exception of the cats. In the morning I was to leave, I brought some grey water into the bathroom with me. She had gone into detail about how their sewage system was broken and at the site, the power was out and the sewage was overgrown. One could also see sewage overflowing around the trash cans. She BURST into the bathroom, slamming every door while I used the toilet and then yelled as I left: "WAS THAT URINE FROM YOUR TOILET?" I said no and explained it was water with a little soap. I called later just to be sure she understood what it was- I wanted to be responsible in case there was some issue with that method of grey water disposal. During the call, I also pointed out that treating guests this way, with this menacing constant suspicion doesn't help guests feel welcome. She told me to never make another reservation there (way ahead of you) and that if your RV is fully contained, one should use the site hookup. I thought I was doing them a favor but I guess not. I guess my money is not good enough for Angela or maybe her boss? Next thing I know I get a call from the same number and I picked up with the assumption that they were going to apologize. No, now they are accusing me of dumping toilet paper on their lot. The person said there was urine and toilet paper and that I need to return and clean it. I asked if I need to call the police because this was starting to become harassment. She said I needed to bring lye... I asked if she was accusing me of lying. It was so wild. She said no L-Y-E it's easy to remember. Are they disposing of bodies? WOW I have never been so freakishly mistreated by a camp host.

The tow truck driver towed us to the fairground in Ukiah. We got in pretty late but the camp hosts took care of us and got us a spot. The next day we were supposed to get a replacement RV by 9am but it didn't show up till 6pm. The hosts were nice enough to let us stay all day waiting for it to arrive. We ended up staying another night because it got so late. We needed room to tow the old one away and deliver a new one, so the hosts actually stuck a RESERVED sign on the space next to us so we'd have to room we needed. We really appreciate all their help and definitely to stay there again in the future.

May 4 - 7, 2025 - Cloverdale…read more First off, I want to say that the staff is 5-star. Friendly and helpful. Now, about the campground. It is rustic. There are beautiful trees. Deer come to visit. Acorn woodpeckers are everywhere. It is near the river. That being said, the campground itself, particularly the RV sites, are in need of repair and upgrades. Many of the sites are not level. Quite a few had areas where RVs or trailers had bottomed out over and over, so deep ruts had developed into the pavement. Some had high inclines just to get into the site, so access could be a major headache depending on your rig. There are four camping sections. Some of the sections have cabins, along with RV sites. Each section has its own bathroom, except for the "C" loop. (The C loop bathroom has been closed for a long while and is being upgraded.) The sites are varied--a few have lots of room with no close neighbor. Others are packed tight together. So maybe look at the campground map when you book. They have water and 30-amp electrical hookups. No sewer hookups, but they do have a dump station. Some of the campers seem to be long term, and they have those portable RV dump tanks. They would drive back and forth with their portables--we were fairly close to the dump station, so it was a bit noisy and busy. Speaking of noisy, the campground is near Highway 101. You can see and hear the highway from camp. Highway 101 is on a ridge above the campground, and the traffic noise and truck brake noises seem to travel down. The river is nice, but there is not a lot of accessible area near the river. We walked down to the river, and there was a woman who was fishing and had her two dogs off leash. They were not friendly dogs. Also, it is very rocky. Not easy traveling. There are only two areas where you can set chairs down, and they are rather small areas. I didn't use the restroom facilities, but I did peek in, and they seemed clean enough, I guess. There were two showers, and three bathroom stalls (but one of the stalls was out of order.) Also of note: the restrooms require a code to enter, but none of our paperwork had the code written on it. We finally figured out that the gate code on the parking pass for our tow vehicle was also the bathroom code. Seems like they should write the code on the map of campground that they give you when you check in.

I had one of the sites that has a considerable incline to get into but easy to navigate and one in it's a nice site. My walks around haven't revealed much trash...some but not much. Some dog poo but not as much as I've seen at other campgrounds. Appears to be quite a few long term tenants but the few I've had interaction with were pleasant. Can hear the freeway but once inside and during the night it's been one of the quieter places I've been. I can actually sleep without my white noise machine. Havent used the facilities...peeked in one and it's "ok" but not sure if I'd use showers or laundry. But I really didn't look that close.

Its a pull in & pick your spot then register. The lady at the front desk is very new and did not know a lot about how to help us. She did get us checked i. With help. She was very polite, courteous & helpful with the things she knows how to do She also got us set up with pool towels & walked us to the the pool to shows us how to get to it, without goi g through the casino. The diner breakdmfadt was great. We just had pancakes & sausage. We had a lunch there today, I do NOT recommend the street tacos. Salsa a bit spicy for this white girl.the taco meat was hamburger & I asked for no onions. As I tried to eat my taco, I discovered onions in it. The di er was great about removing the meal from the bill. The rv park has been quiet. We been here since 10am. The pool is very clean and has a great view of the lake! The water was fairly warm and the pool roomy. The casino does not allow smoking or vaping inside since COVID. Although you can tell it was a smoking place as their is a lingering cigarette smell. The rv park also has restrooms & a work out room. & laundry room. The pool stays open til 10pm! Additional bonus points in my humble opinion... 1. Everytime I have step outside I see a security guard on site. 2. Senior discounts start at age 50 for the diner. 3. They also offer AARP discounts for food & lodging.
