The hot tub monitor looked after the tub every day we there ensuring water quality and chemicals were exactly as they should be (we had one of the hope tub camps). Hiking, disc golf and an absolute classic old school pee wee golf course was clean and well maintained. Really had fun playing the 18 holes. Public clear water pool and hot tub. The little store is great with many necessities on hand. Well stocked with many things. The Arcade was ridiculous. 6 of the exact. same stuffed animal machines only there to take money. Can't wait till they upgrade it as it will be great when they do The only racecar machine was out of order. Really cool old town buildings. It's got tent, partial and full pull through hookup camp for any size campers or trailers. Public bathrooms, showers, dish wash station and laundry rooms were immaculate They also have a dump station. The grounds include a Skunk train station which is a Must do activity. We're going back for sure. Love it. Oh yeh. If you have an RC Car they have an amazing RC course which is very cool. Every time I walked into the bathroom in the cool evening or morning, it was glorious to be greeted by warmth! Such luxury is amazing!!! To sit on a real flush toilet that is spotlessly clean and be warm while camping is a new thing to me and was a wonderful surprise! And, the sinks had soap and hot water and paper towels--- it felt like fake camping. We stayed at campsite TC2, and it was in the lovely tall pine trees. I'm glad no one was at the neighboring campsite, since there is no space between the 2 sites. As it was, we essentially had both of the sites, so it was spacious and roomy for 2 people + 2 small dogs. There seem to be a lot of rules, but the place is very clean and quiet, which is wonderful, so the rules are totally worth it! Also, if you have dogs, there is a pet area, plus the whole RV park to walk them around on-leash. The place was very pet friendly, and it seemed like a lot of people there have dogs, but I didn't hear a single bark the entire time. Instead, there was a rooster on a neighboring property that crowed in the night a little bit.

The sites have hookups for water and electricity. It's so convenient. The workers are nice and friendly. During our recent trip, we rented A2 with their trailer. The trailer has everything that you need. You just need to bring food and camping chairs and you're set. If you like to fish, bring you fishing poles. This place is awesome during crabbing season. They have so much crabs. Just make sure you have a fishing license and no one bothers you. Most people bring their boats to fish but we were just fishing/crabbing on the pier and we got a lot of crabs. We only got 2 small fish but it's ok. We had so much fun.

So good we stayed 2 nights instead of moving on to Eureka. The lovely park caretaker lives on property and ensures everything goes smoothly and late arrivals no problem. It lays alongside the South Fork Eel River and amongst giant redwoods. Showers and bathrooms very clean. Setting is fabulous. Just look.

Now we know they're owned by a local vacation rental company called Pacific Blue and you can book direct! The park is well maintained with a mix of RVs, cabins and tiny homes available for nightly rentals. The RVs are spacious floor plans to accommodate families and smaller for couples or solos, and each is set up at a campsite complete with picnic table, fire ring and full hookups. The tiny homes are quaint and complete, with everything well thought out. Ours had a lot with two twin beds, tv, and room to layout suitcases. We out a pack and play up there and still had room to spare. Downstairs was a full kitchen with oven/micro/stovetop (no dishwasher), kitchen table with bench and two seats, rolling island for additional storage, living room with full size sofa, coffee table and sitting chair, and lots of windows to bring in the scene of the harbor. natural light and bay breeze. Outside we had a gas bbq, patio furniture and communal picnic tables and seating out on the pier, which we overlooked. It was serene and exciting to watch the seals and otters at play and the boats coming in and out of the harbor day and night. The view was never boring and we enjoyed every minute. I also loved that you could see out to the ocean, which looked very peaceful and calm during our stay. Best of all, you're close to several good seafood restaurants, in the heart of the charter fishing in Fort Bragg, can crab right from the pier if youre staying on property and the owners are responsive, helpful and swift to reply. It was clear they were proud of their place and wanted you to enjoy your stay. We would def recommend staying here!

In this lovely RV park, a mix of transient and permanent residents. The park's owners are great, and they maintain the place looking great. In addition to having excellent showers, the restrooms were spotless. Beautiful scenery may be found around the rear fence. The park was busier than we'd like, but that's to be expected for an RV park; the other campers were friendly, though the weekend population was louder than usual.

There is a decent sized parking lot that includes a number of first-come, first-served camping spots next to the "temporarily closed" Captain Fletcher's Inn. The beach is open and the parking is free. Several large trees have drifted down the river and washed up on the beach, which makes for some wonderful pictures. Other than the roaring wind and the crashing ocean, it was completely peaceful. I can absolutely understand why people would want to camp here.
