The roses for the most part are limp. Total crap quality is the best way I can describe them. This put a real damper on our Valentine's Day weekend. Any other place these would've lasted 3-5 days. I doubt they will last 2 days in their current condition. You should be ashamed of yourselves ripping off native New Yorkers and anyone that visits this disgrace of a business. Needless to say, disappointed beyond belief. My husband couldn't even bring himself to tell me the price due to being severely disappointed and ashamed so I'm guessing you guys charged a pretty penny for these garbage flowers. Every time Fernando does that for us, I can feel how much he cares about the plant. He treats them so delicately and you can see that he has a passion for growing things. They also have beautiful flowers bouquets they can make if you're looking for something fancy. Prices are reasonable for NYC standards. It's expensive but I don't think you'd find anything different in the city.

We talked a lot, in Cantonese. I've learned that her green thumbs really kept all her plants in the store nice and healthy. I got a Pilea plant with water, a cute frog planter and got another Pilea plant in soil, for my mom but in a traditional asian planter. I ended up walking out with a few plants that filled up the backseat of my car. She gave me some good prices and taught me a few things. She was kind enough to share her contact info with when I told her it's not convenient for me to come to the store. She was willing to send me photos and message me about new plants that I could be interested in. I was aware that they do local deliveries and pickups too via messaging on the WeChat platform. The prices here are very fair compared to other shops in the area where they quoted 2-3x the prices. A medium sized money tree here costs $35, while Peony Florists (106 Walker St) was $50, and Manhattan Florist (next to Alimama) quoted me a shocking $95 After my positive experience, a friend went by to check out the place and she got a good deal and a nice plant as well.

If something is out of reach or difficult to get to, just ask them for help. I can tell the people who work here/own the place care a lot about plants and care for them with respect, because they are living things. (Also they have to protect their merchandise :)) I've even seen the woman help some person who ran in with a dying plant- she gave them advice and showed how to properly water it and tie up the leaves so that it grows proper, and I'm not even sure the plant was from Home Shopping Center because it was a kind that I haven't seen in the store. Anyways, they have a great selection, and great prices! This neighborhood seems to be changing quickly, but I really hope this shop stays.
