I really want to give this place a review to offset some of the horrible ones I read on here. I come to Lancaster every week to help take care of my Dad, and I shop for him at Stater Brothers. I really needed a pedicure, and decided to look at this shop, which is next door. The reviews were not good, but I thought I would take a look inside. I was presently surprised! The shop was really busy, and nearly full, but I was lucky to get the one open technician. (This was at 1:30 on. Thursday afternoon, not really prime time). The man who greeted me at the door was all business, and not warm and fuzzy, but not rude at all. Maria did a beautiful job! After seeing how pretty the lady's French pedicure looked, I went from wanting color, to choosing that. I had never had gel on my toes, so asked the other patron how she liked them. Not only was she friendly and shared her thoughts, but two other ladies in there said I would love them. Not once did the man at the desk, or Maria try to hard sell or up sell me on anything. I liked that. Yes, the shop is older. Yes, the furniture is a bit worn. But nothing was dirty, and I watched that my tech took her tools out of the cleaning solution before she used them on me. Oh, and the massage feature on my chair worked great. My Gel French Pedicure was $45. (It also included the usual oil calf/foot massage. I live down in a Beach City, and this service would have been no less than $50 to $60. I will definitely be back here again. Oh, and I paid and tipped cash, so can't speak to the problems others have said they had paying by debit/credit card. read more

At the end of the day, more professionalism needs to be had for a lot of these business owners they failed to realize without customers coming in and spending their money. There wouldn't be a business. Wish I had her name, but one of the ladies had a stank attitude about a color that was requested for a nail fill the proper color wasn't put on the nails asked politely to do it correctly. Came in for the first time the other day and it was absolutely terrible. Only came to get a gel pedicure since it's close to my house and they just did such a bad job on both the prep and the polish for $50 I'd should've just done them myself they were very rude when I asked politely to fix certain features on it because of how expensive it was I'd like them to at least look decent but I just dropped it after while. Then come time to pay they told me their card reader was down which wasn't at all mentioned beforehand so I was forced to pay an atm fee to take out cash on top of everything. I hate not tipping but honestly even though it was $5 I really wish I hadn't. Don't waste your money here there are better place that do better work for same or sometimes cheaper price. read more

I am a 70 year old man. My wife went to be with my Lord in 2021. I have bad arthritis in my hands and couldn't cut my own toe nails anymore. I just let them grow until last Sunday. I was walking my Siberian Husky by this shop. A very nice woman named Maria greeted me. My big toes nails were very long and my other nails grew over my toes and curled underneath the toes. Needless to say I was very embarrassed to even show Maria my toes. She was so graceful and understanding. I took my dog home and came back to the shop. Maria took almost an hour to carefully cut my nails. She was gentle and the treatment was painless. Maria is Vietnamese. Another worry that I had was that the technicians would speak in their own language and make fun of me. This was totally unfounded. I left the shop feeling great about my visit. The normal pedicure was $25.00 but I was only charged $30.00 even with all of the extra work. Maria convinced me that I should see her every two months or so and I plan to do just that. I give this salon 5 stars for the treatment and five stars for the care that Maria showed me. read more

Walked in to filthy mack nasty Golden Nails Salon on a Sunday morning for a pedicure . Waited patiently for 20minutes for a pedicurist who introduced herself as, Marie. After an hour or so I left with a serious bacterial infection on both feet from something she insisted on spraying on my feet that I asked her several times not to use. read more

She took about 15 mins to remove the gel manicure I had previously and slapped this new color on. No hand soak, no cuticle trimming, no nail trimming- she literally filed my nails down and sanded off my fingerprints while she was at it. I went here for a pedicure and liked the prices, well let me tell you guys please go to that other salon that charges more and uses actual CLEAN STERILE tools. After receiving my pedicure my toe swelled up and I didn't think nothing of it, a couple days later my toe was huge and hurt to stand on, I went to the hospital and it turns out this salon gave me a nasty infection which costed me a week and a half of work!!! My toe had to be cut and drained twice, and I had to be placed on strong antibiotics. This shop needs to be shut down dude to its lack of sanitation. The only reason I am giving this place 1 star is because the woman who does my nails is so sweet, very professional and has been the only person to treat me as if I am a good customer. I've seen the male worker run other ppl debt cards with no issues but as I sat there and watched him refuse to take a woman's debit card and lie to her face that it was no longer working not even five minutes after the other one just ran her car with no issue. My experience today was awful. My usual person wasn't there so I asked to be seen by someone else as I sat and got my nails done I was questioned as to how I knew about the place and, how I met the woman who usually does my nails from there they questioned everything how I was paying if I've been there multiple times saying I look familiar it made me very uncomfortable because they Referring to other people of my skin color, saying I look like someone else that was black when it came To pay the same man, gave me the same spill that POS machine wasn't not working after I just Saw someone use their card. I felt as if they thought I was going to decline the transaction after they ran it because they were speaking of people who've done it before I did not feel welcomed I was uncomfortable I felt like because others has done it. I expected maybe $60 considering the length and that it's gel polish, I asked for a receipt explaining what I was up charged for, and they couldn't even give me that. Me and mom get pedicures to spend time together but they did my pedicure in less than 8 minutes & didn't use lotion lol I normally am used to getting a massage with the lotion but I paid 30$ for a sea salt scrub & "callus remover" but you can tell she really didn't try. I hate to bash businesses and that's not my intention, but after the callus remover (some alcohol sprayed on my heels & a cream plus a stone used to scrub) I feel stickiness and my feet feel unfinished. I just feel like this was a waste of money. I wouldn't encourage people to come here if they're looking to relax it's just about making money off customers. So I left and I came back and I told her that I wasn't satisfied. She told me that she was not going to be responsible if the nails breaks. So came here 2 weeks ago and it was the worst experience ever !!! It was a Sunday and 5:30 and me and my daughter wanted a pedicure.Only place open around that time on Sunday .. gave it a chance even with the unsanitary look because my daughter really wanted her toes done . I asked for two pedis and let her go first . A seat opened up and the woman doing my daughters toes stated to me "go tell her to do your toes". I just that was so odd why would I ask her .... she then told me again so I did . Lol the lady told me "No!" With an attitude I felt kind of embarrassed. I told the lady doing my daughters toes that was rude of both of them . Literally six other ppl come in and they get seen before me so by that time I decided i was not getting my toes done anymore . I also started paying more attention to my daughters toes. She didn't paint the whole toe nail on most of them and very sloppy . So I told her "excuse me they are missing paint on some " . She ignored me . Again I said " excuse me can you fix it ?" She ignored me again. My daughter who is 8 then so sweetly said "excuse me ma'am ". And she rudely replied with " I hear you ookayyy !" I told her I'm sorry but I need someone else to do my daughters nails and that's more attentive. She got upset and she said "you pay me $9 and go" . I said "no I'm going to have someone fix your work and pay after" . I went to the front and the man just told me to wait because everyone was busy. And a client told me my daughters toes were terrible and to just do the at home. (Which I agreed with) then the lady just shouted to leave cause she was in the wrong. The only reason why I am giving them one star is because of Goldie. she always does my eyebrows she always do a good job and is very sweet and professional she's the only reason why I come here. The lady I went to was cool at first she did my eyebrows okay until I realized it wasn't exactly what I asked for so I went back inside to inform her about the issue. she had the nerve to catch a little attitude and have someone else go over her work and that lady was getting an attitude as well because I'm trying to explain to her how I would like my eyebrows to look. They just have terrible service and very nasty attitudes and I always heard about how some of the workers have a very nasty attitudes but I never experienced it until today. This is one of the worst salons on the planet. If I tell you, my nail tech is so racist and abusive towards me and she charged me $105 for faucet with gel and a pedicure with gel and she had the audacity to ask me, was I gonna give her a tip And I told her know you took all my money and walked out butt. She assumed that me eating a piece of candy was going to lead to me becoming a diabetic they had to sign up on the wall talking about if you're a diabetic go to your doctor for your nail treatment just things that really shouldn't be in the nail salon and the women were so sad and just jealous and judgmental And a I refuse to spend my money at any place. They don't respect me. They want to talk about Asian racism against them. They've been abusing us for decades. They are very racist and disrespectful and all they want is our money at these nail salons it's time for us to remove these businesses that are not benefiting our community out of our communities, so that we can grow and thrive as a community. I got an acrylic overlay on my nails and I'm so disappointed. They charged $40 and there was hardly any prep work done, my nails came out sloppy, the gel was so thick it spilled under the UV light and burned my thumb, and the tech filed into my skin a few times. Never again. read more

When I went inside I talked to a man who was nice and a lady walked in behind me. I was explaining to her that all I wanted was a full set. she looked down at my feet and told me I needed a pedicure which I really didn't. I told her I just wanted a full set. So the guy said she would do my nails. So I sat there for at least 20 minutes. The lady was just on her phone ignoring me .I asked the man how long more and he said 5 minutes. She put on a new tip that was super curved & I asked her if it was going to be curved because I despise those nails & she said NO, well now that she's all done it's very curved, lumpy and not even painted right. I told her why is it curved & she try's blaming it on my finger & I told her if it was my finger then all my other nails would be curved & they're definitely not, that's when she said oh I didn't have any other tips.
