On the scheduled day, Lucas contacted me within the promised time window and gave me a 30-minute heads-up before arriving. Lucas is friendly, professional, and an excellent communicator. He quickly found the cause of the thumping, turned the drum, switched the rollers, and the thump was gone. He also cleaned and vacuumed the inside of the dryer and the vent. He charged the standard diagnostic and base repair fee, typically $189 plus parts, though the fee can vary by appliance. I strongly recommend Certified Appliance Care.

He quickly assessed that the drain pump was not functioning correctly. He gave me a honest quote, and he asked if I wanted to make the repair. After discussing with my wife, we agreed to get the washer repaired. He had the part with him and got to work to replace the part. In addition to making the repair well, he spent time to check that the washer worked after replacing the part and that it did not leak before closing the washer up. He then moved back the washer in place even though I am the one who moved the washer in the first place. He gave me a 1-year warranty on the repair as he used a genuine LG part. He was professional and courteous. I would definitely call Home Pro Appliance again for any appliance problem.

The service technician shows up at your house a few minutes before the scheduled 12PM to 5PM window with no warning. Our family works so we can't just sit at home waiting for a technician to show up all day. It be nice for a phone call or something letting us know that they are on there way. By 4 PM you then get a crappy email telling you that they want to reschedule your appointment because they showed up and you weren't there. Why couldn't you send in email before saying you were on your way? Horrible way of doing business.
