DO NOT HIRE THEM. They were installing a rented hot water tank through unitil . Additional plumbing…read morewas needed not covered by unitil so they told me what had to be done to bring it to code. I told them I have a licensed plumber who does work for me normally as I knew they would most likely cost a lot more than my normal plumber. I asked roughly how much it would cost to do the small amount of work needed. I was told by the tech around $200 but he said he couldn't give me an exact price, so I was comfortable as I thought it was fair and anywhere around that price I was ok with just to get it done. Almost 2 weeks later I get an invoice of $798.05 4x what I was told it would most likely cost. I called and spoke to them on the phone and they agreed to take off 10% of the most likely 40%+ mark up on materials. I was only requesting they take off the mark up on materials as I would never had used them had I thought it was going to be $800 where I would have most likely got that done for less than half what they charged. Their tech told me something I trusted and honestly would have been ok even anywhere near what I was told.

Ferguson Plumbing and Heating has become my go-to whenever something goes sideways at home. From…read morethe first conversation to the moment the work was wrapped up, everything felt smooth, professional, and genuinely reliable. What impressed me most was the way they handled the whole process. They didn't just show up and start working -- they took the time to listen to what was going on, asked smart questions, and explained the real options. That level of clarity made it easy to decide what needed to be done without feeling overwhelmed or upsold. The technician arrived right on time and came prepared, which already set a positive tone. The repair itself was done efficiently, but not rushed. You could tell they weren't just patching the problem -- they were addressing it in a way that feels built to last. Every step was explained clearly, so I always knew exactly what was happening and why. What really stood out was how respectful and clean they were while working. They treated my home with care, cleaned up afterward, and checked to make sure I was satisfied before leaving. It's those little touches -- follow-up questions, checking on details, making sure everything was working perfectly -- that made the whole experience feel thoughtful rather than transactional. If you're looking for plumbing and heating service that's dependable, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on doing the right thing, Ferguson Plumbing and Heating delivers. I'll definitely call them again when needed -- it's five-star service done with skill and integrity.
