Not only does he do it with you breath by breath, he teaches you how the techniques play a greater part for your body and overall health & wellness. In addition to the breath work, I did 40min in the infrared sauna at 130F. I was able to practice the breathing techniques in a toasty and clean private space. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. I think the class happens every Tuesday/Thursday at 8:30AM and the fee was 20$ each. They provide some mats to share and recommend you cover them with a beach towel. The teaching included an opening meditation as well as a flow and some closing stretches. I would say the class was all-levels and appropriate for beginner yogis, and I think more advanced students could adjust as they see fit to do more challenging poses as well as enjoy the mindfulness opportunity of being near the ocean. I think everyone would enjoy this beautiful class with the delightful Anya. She also taught in combination with her fiance, which was very pleasant. I would recommend this class as a nice peaceful thing to do while visiting the beautiful garden isle of Kauai.

A group of friends and myself trekked our way to the beach and we were welcomed by friendly Abhi. We placed our mats by the beach and he led us through a wonderful one hour, 15 minute class which included stretching, meditation, and some challenging poses. I attend yoga when I am at home in San Francisco a fair amount (I like vinyasa yoga with a bit of challenge), and Abhi's class was one of my favorite yoga classes that I have ever taken. He was a great instructor and kept the class relaxing and engaging; never once did I feel bored or that it was too difficult. He has a very calm presence and helps you out with your poses as well. I definitely recommend taking his class if you're in Kauai - it's a great workout to start or end a beautiful day on the island! Thank you, Abhi, for amazing yoga on the beach!

It's clear I've developed a lot of strength from this workout that incorporates ballet, yoga, and mat Pilates moves and I'm grateful it's part of my weekly routine. I've never felt more comfortable in a group fitness setting. The teachers are welcoming, kind, and super knowledgeable. The students come from a range of ages and skillsets and add to the great vibes. I appreciate the instructors' discrete corrections to form, explanations about poses, breathing cues, and variety of moves incorporated into the flow. Barre classic and back to the basics help you work on form and the muscle groups tackled are super obvious. Barre inspire and bold are creative and fly by with the light changes. There are also a good amount of yoga classes offered with excellent instructors that make yoga approachable and fun. I have nothing but praise for this studio that Anna has cultivated.

I don't personally like working out with the socks, but I understand why they are necessary. Classes are fast paced! This is not a bad thing, but just something to be aware of. I take barre regularly and kept up. But it was a challenging class...in a good way! I'll definitely be back on my next trip and highly recommend checking it out. We walk down the coconut bike path to a beautiful grassy area by the water, which immediately puts us at ease. Immediately, we're welcomed with opened arms and a smiling Renata. As we settle in, people are trickling in and the energy is simply contagious. We love the flows (for all ages and levels) and adjustments. However, the best part is the shavasana with the water in the background, rainbows, palm trees, and sunsets... everything that we love about Kauai! Mahalo for the great practices, Renata!

The view, the sounds of the surf and trade winds on your skin add their own element to the yoga practice Renata offers. Her guidance and hands on positioning allow for greater opportunities to open and relax. Looking up at the moonrise while in sivasana..... awe-inspiring. Also more affordable and reasonably priced than many yoga offerings on Kauai and Renata's smile... healing. Can't recommend it enough.
