I called Priti (P-R-I-T-I) the receptionist at 1:00 PM to ask if the threading specialist I like was available. She told me yes, the specialist was available today and also tomorrow. I explained that I live an hour and a half away and specifically drive out for this particular service provider because she does great work. Priti said that was fine and told me there were no appointments scheduled, so I could come in anytime. At 2:35 PM, I called back to confirm that I would be coming and asked if there was an appointment available. She said they had an opening at 3:15 PM. I said that would work. She then abruptly hung up without taking my name or confirming anything. When I arrived and parked, I called back because I realized she had never taken my name to hold the 3:15 appointment. I had my seven-year-old daughter with me, who is sick, so I wanted to be sure the appointment was secured before bringing her inside. Priti told me she could not put my name down unless I physically came into the salon. I did not understand why my name could not simply be written down over the phone, especially since she was the one who hung up without confirming details. Then she started to say, show me your car .. I will come out to see you in your car so I know you are here. I got frustrated because why would I want anyone to see my car when I'm trying to give her my name for the appointment?! She said she doesn't believe me that I'm here and calling to put my name on the time, I was so confused! The situation escalated unnecessarily. Instead of resolving it professionally, she involved someone named Neil, who told me they would not service me and that I had to leave. For someone who drives 1.5-2 hours specifically for their services, this level of rudeness and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. Clear communication and basic courtesy would have prevented this entire situation. Unfortunately, due to the poor and dismissive customer service, I will not be returning. I will also report this to the business bureau.

When I book my red light and Level 5 sessions, I specifically ask the girls at the front if I'll be able to go directly into Level 5 afterward because I do not want to wait in between sessions. Multiple times now, I've been told yes, only to come out of red light and then be asked to sit in the lobby and wait. To be fair, I completely understand if it gets busy sometimes. But this has happened more than a couple of times even when there hasn't been anyone else waiting in the lobby. It creates an uncomfortable experience because I'm obviously not fully dressed, assuming I'm going straight into my next session. I think communication is key, especially when clients are paying premium membership prices. If I'm going to have to wait, I'd rather just be told beforehand so I can either come back later or go to the Livermore location, which has honestly never made me wait like this. As a longtime client, I just haven't been happy with the recent experience. This is a truly custom spray tan. Obviously with how pale I was, I asked for something natural and wanted to just make everything more even than it currently was. Cristina made the whole process super easy and made a perfect fast developing color (I have no clue what it's called) tan for me and my body shape. It was a little scary at how dark it was at first but it turned out to be the perfect, natural bronze color. Cristina explained what I needed to do for the best results and she sold me one of the jumpsuits she has in the salon to make the rest of the day easier while the tan developed. I have been getting compliments since I got the tan and I love it - it makes any look I do better. She's warm, welcoming, and personable. It's rare to meet someone whose vibe is that effortlessly uplifting -- I literally come back just for her energy alone. Don't get me wrong, the tanning beds and spray tans are great, but the experience wouldn't be the same without Jill. She's the glow behind the glow -- truly the heart of the salon.
