My family and I would like to thank DNA Clean Sweep Chimney, especially Adam!…read more They were extremely professional and did an amazing job from start to finish. The work was very thorough, never felt rushed, and they truly went above and beyond. Adam was a man of his word -- showed up on time, communicated clearly, and delivered excellent work. He also made sure we knew we could always call with any questions or follow-ups, which we really appreciated. We normally don't leave reviews, but this experience was absolutely worth it. We've had bad experiences with other chimney companies in the past where workers rushed through the job and the quality of work reflected that. This experience was completely different. The quality of work was outstanding, and everything was handled with care and professionalism. We will definitely be recommending them to family and friends with chimneys! Frank and Mark showed up right on time. Not only were they clean, courteous, and incredibly efficient, but they also ended up saving us from a potential household disaster. While working, they discovered our dryer vent was heavily clogged and not releasing lint properly, turning what we thought was just a routine cleaning into saving us from a genuine fire hazard. Without missing a beat, Frank and Mark walked us through the issue, installed new piping, and cleared out every last trace of built-up lint in addition to meticulously cleaning out all the air and bathroom vents throughout the entire house. They were professional, knowledgeable, and downright awesome to work with. It's rare to find technicians who are exceptionally thorough and honest. Thank you Duct Pros, especially to Frank and Mark!

No one ever showed. When I called to ask what was going on, they said their guys couldn't arrive until 1 or 1:30 PM, they couldn't be sure exactly. Which means I would now have to also take off the afternoon, and dedicate an entire day to this installation. They didn't offer a discount for the hassle or inconvenience. There are a million other companies in the Bay area that install screens that actually care about customer service. Skip this place.

They told me that WITH the Groupon it would still be a bit more depending on how many ducts, returns, and vents I had. I was told ahead of time that if the system had not been cleaned before that it would be $25 for each hole they had to cut (this was the standard with the other companies I checked out). Our house is 40 years old and has never been cleaned ( we recently moved in).My wife and sons allergies were getting very bad. And the amount of dust, hair, rubber bands, spoons, ect that was pulled out of the system was unreal. As for the pricing, a previous reviewer wrote that it was very confusing and not right. I have to strongly disagree. All I had to do was ask ahead of time, count my vents, ducts, and returns. I came out with a price that was true as well as more affordable than any other company we looked at. The person that wrote the bad review also clearly failed to buy the Groupon online and was supposed to pay Vlad in person but seemed to get upset by that. Can't just mention it and expect to get the killer discount, you have to actually purchase the Groupon or at least pay the discounted price. Treat others like you would like to be treated. My experience was outstanding, my ducts are clean and we will be using him again.

This would've been a 5 star review but... Scheduling was complicated. I was getting phone calls,…read moremessages and text from three different numbers and it was confusing. I thought I had an appointment confirmed but then I was told because I didn't call someone back it was cancelled..then they showed up?? The guys were nice. Eli explained what they were doing. They were quick and efficient and they left everything clean. They did a great job. They explained what they did and what they saw that might need work And at that point, they walked out the door with a five star review. Here's where it gets dicey. When they came, my flue was open. Being widowed I've learned to make fires but I have never opened or shut the flue. It was open when they got there and when they left the last thing they said was "OK now you can make a fire". But they didn't tell me that they had shut the flue or damper. I didn't know it was a thing until I made a fire and my house filled up with smoke. Opening all the doors and windows didn't work. The fire alarm kept going off. I couldn't make it stop. I shut the glass on the fireplace. Ended up having to call the fire department. I had to get my cats and throw them out in the rain and wait outside. The fire dept confirmed the flue was closed. They opened it and they brought in big fans to air the smoke out of my house. It's still smell smoky. The worst thing is this was super traumatic for me. I didn't know why the house was smoky I didn't know what to do. I didn't have my husband or anyone to help and I was panicked. It was a really horrible experience except for the hot firefighters lol. Based on that they would get zero stars so I gave them 2
