DO NOT GO TO THE ASIAN LADY FOR EYEBROW THREADING . She did a horrible job . I cannot believe how she left my eyebrows. I have really nice eyebrows and she completely messed them up. She didn't make my eyebrows define. She like half cut my hairs and left hairs by my brow there . I'm so unhappy with how she left them. The ladies are always very pleasant and nice, it's clean, complimentary wifi, I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes, and most importantly the price is pretty low- only $7 for brows. I have been to this place 3-4 times and I was sad when I got a really bad " threading burn"/ gash on my left eyelid the last time. The previous threading session to this, I had an issue with the person who did my threading because my eyebrow didn't look symmetrical. Nima had to fix it the mistake. I love this place because of their location and the convenience it offers but I'm quite worried about the skill of the threaders. I will still give them another chance only because I think Sufi has good reviews. I will try to have her work on my brows the next time. Hopefully I can update this review with a better outcome. read more

I would definitely recommend Golden Eyebrow Threading to anyone who's in the Long Beach/LA area! If I could rate this place 10 stars, I would. They only charge $7 for eyebrows so this is the cheapest eyebrow place I've come across. Not to mention, they do a way better job than a place that would charge $8+ for brows. I always get compliments on my brows since every employee is extremely talented. Not only are they talented, but they also have great customer service and are lovely people! I wanted to like this place, really I did! It's a mile away from my house, plus it's new and big and clean and it's upgraded (they use an iPad to check you in and keep track of your visits/rewards, instead of a stamp card). I have been 3 times and will likely go again later this year to see if there's been any improvement, but for now I am done with this place. Here is what I've seen so far: PROS: -large, clean facility (& great location for me) -several chairs to allow for more people serviced at a time -iPad check in and tracking for rewards via phone number (with text message discounts) -Virtually no wait time -Cheap ($7) CONS: -No A/C! (Doors open, hot inside each time I've been) -I have only ever seen one person working/on the clock each time I've been in (what's the point of all the extra chairs?) -Employee has been on the phone each time I've visited, and made little effort to greet me or get off the phone quickly, acted like I was an inconvenience -Employees do not wash their hands after being on their phone and before touching my face, only used hand sanitizer (pet peeve) -Extremely painful eyebrow threading, to the point where I was bleeding afterwards -Hard to communicate the style I was going for, ended up with thinner brows than desired I understand the business is new and likely trying to "find its groove" with staffing and such. That's fine, and like I said, I've never had to wait to be seen (it has always been empty). The unfortunate part is that I felt like a burden to the one girl who was there, who had to get off the phone to do my brows. I said I wanted medium thickness and to clean up the shape I already had, but what I got was a very painful experience that ended in thin, flat brows. After it was over I had to finish the job myself in the car (some hairs had been missed). On my third and final visit I asked the girl how long she had been doing brows and she said about 2 months. I understand she is learning, but I don't want to be her guinea pig, I wanted a professional service. It was such a painful and unsatisfying experience I didn't even leave a tip; and she seemed very shocked about that! My personal recommendation would be to have someone VERY experienced there at all times, not just the new girl who has open availability on weekdays. :/ read more

Horrible service by Nima. This is my usual spot in Long Beach when I don't have time to go to my usual place back home. I came in today for get only my upper lip done. She was so rough she caused me to bleed in multiple places. I asked her to take off some hair she missed and claimed she "had to charge me extra". I said that I needed it off but was unsure why she was going to charge me extra as it was in the upper lip area. She was so rude. I went there 2 years ago for a year and realized how each person kept removing more and more of my eyebrows and was very disappointment. i stopped going for a year until this summer. i went once and since my brows had FULLY grown back they shaped it proper. i went back today asked just to CLEAN and she reshaped my whole entire brows and removed a lot more than a clean. I'm NEVER going back there again. I get that it's hard to do brows cause everyone's face is different but all she had to do was LISTEN. i said CLEAN not SHAPE. read more
