I am deeply saddened to have to write such a negative review about a small local business. But unfortunately there is no way around it in this case. I brought a party of 4 in for lunch on a weekday. The food was awful; majority of it was cold, soggy or undercooked. None of us even finished our first (and only) plate. Secondly and perhaps most importantly; I don't understand how the health department hasn't shut this place down yet. The windows are covered in what appeared to be black mold, and it doesn't look like the place has ever had a proper cleaning. I didn't see anyone clean or even being out a sanitizer bucket for show once while we were there. . I don't even want to imagine what the kitchen looks like. In addition, they aren't even priced competitively anymore. You could go to the king buffet in Everett for nearly the same price and get food that is actually edible and a building that won't make you sick. Sad to say this was definitely our last time here.

small, locally owned biggest. a sweet family who makes everything fresh while you're there ! constantly seeing them go in & out bringing in platters of different foods to fill the buffet trays. an arrayment of fruits, seafood, Chinese + japanese foods, fried foods, deserts, you name it ! there's something here for everyone to enjoy, whether it's comfort food or something to try. everyone is very kind & welcoming, & open to questions & conversation. some of my favorites i recommend are the crab rangoon (which, grab quick, because they go fast!), cheese sticks (be careful though, some wind up being empty), & fried zucchini ! if you ever want a quick bite whether it be sitting in the small, quaint environment of the buffet, or a quick bite to go on the road or for home, this is for you !

For the dinner buffet, they have over 20 items, but most of them appeared to be out since lunch. The food looked stale, even the rice was just above room temperature and smelled. I'm pretty sure the health department hasn't done an inspection here recently. I didn't expect fancy food at an all you can eat buffet, but we had a hard time finding edible food.

I had to dump my food from my mouth. :(. I heat leveling bad comments or reviews but I couldn't stay silent.

Very bad experience I had. I saw very good reviews so it could be just bad day, but place didn't smell good and food was not fresh at all, don't get me wrong I'm not picky at all, I eat leftovers every time. This food was not tasting good and it wasn't the flavor it was more like it was going bad, I had to stop eating. I really hope someone can come and inspect the place for everyone's Helth.

the deserts look strikingly familiar to the deserts from the the food bank (church) down the street. The flies don't eat much either.

The service is pretty standard and the staff were able to clear our plates relatively quickly. This is a Chinese or Asian style buffet, and we loved the Asian style fusion foods. There were rows and rows of food choices. Some of the trays were of hot food like ribs or fish, fried foods, various seafoods, a salad bar, sushi and sashimi bar, desserts or fruits, and even a DIY grilling station where you can choose your own meats or proteins, veggies, or noodles, and they'll freshly stir fry it on a hot stone flat grill top! The various seafoods included shrimp, clams, baked oysters, crawfish, and deep fried crab. My favourite was probably the sushi bar with many different rolls, nigiri sushi, sashimi, and sashimi salad. They also have an unlimited soft serve machine. All in all, a great lunch with amazing variety and portions!

The staff is constantly walking by to grab your empty plates and refill for beverages. On the weekends, they have crab legs, crawfish and shrimp in a seafood boil. It goes pretty fast once the staff brings it out lol so be ready to wait a little. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. I've been here twice and will continue to return for the quality and price of the food. For 2 people my total was about $40. Not bad at all !!

Located in the Renton Shopping Center near Fred Meyer, this buffet has really surpassed the test of time. I remember coming here when I was a kid during important family events, however I think the last time I came was around 10 years ago! I think it's pretty safe to say that things have remained consistent over the past many years. To be honest, I'm not a big buffet person - I feel like the quality of the food is often traded for quantity and at my big age I really cannot force myself to eat more than like 2-3 plates of food anymore. But I will say, Feast definitely exceeded my expectations! It has a lot of great asian choices, as well as options for children/people with different palates! I've was a huge fan of the sushi/seafood options, especially the salmon sashimi they had. It was SO fatty I had so many bowls of it. There wasn't really anything that disappointed me, though the crab/lobster line was long (as expected). Staff were kind, and were pretty consistent in clearing out my table and I thought everything was pretty clean! Honestly I'm tempted to return (maybe for lunch since it's cheaper) but I do think that Feast Buffet is definitely a gem of Renton.

Feast Buffet or East (not King lol) Buffet?! IYKYK…read more I was on travel to work with a team up in Renton, WA, and they went out for a lunch buffet here during my time up there. I was intrigued at the name Feast Buffet, but moreso because I had been to an East Buffet the previous year close to where I live, hence the first line of this review. Feast Buffet is located in Renton Shopping Center on the west side of Rainier south of Sunset. If you know where the Fred Meyer is here, Feast Buffet is on the opposite end of the plaza. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a rather spacious lobby where you can see a TV that shows the pricing for both lunch and dinner. We went on a weekday at lunchtime, which is the cheapest option at $24.99 per adult. Weekend lunches are almost 50% higher, but the same price as dinner on Mondays thru Thursdays. If our team had gone for dinner on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, we'd be spending an additional $20 more per adult! The lobby also had some nice decor. Even though I posted this review in January (I was on a brief review hiatus), our visit was back in November, and they had some snowmen decor by the right wall as well as a Christmas tree by the check-in counter. The selection is incredible! Much more than what I was expecting that I circumnavigated the buffet area like a labyrinth. I was hoping to start off with salad, but accidentally started off with some cold seafood before I was able to find the salad bar. Don't forget to grab some utensils! They're located by the salad bar. Our team sat at a side dining area akin to a banquet hall with a huge TV on the end closer to the front door. We were on the far corner, and one of the TVs was not functioning, unfortunately. There are three drink dispensers in the beverage section, but I made the mistake of getting a coffee cup for a Pepsi Zero Sugar LOL. There are taller blue cups that I should have gotten instead, but one of my tablemates noticed a leak in her cup and informed a staff member about it. As with any buffet, one of my grievances is that they spread themselves too thin that the quality of some of the foods is sacrificed, and that is the case here, though not nearly as much, fortunately enough. Only the Mac & Cheese was the most forgettable after my first two plates; I probably would have preferred the macaroni sitting on the top layer of the heating well. The fruits were also not fresh, though I can't say I was expecting them to be. Otherwise, most other food items were good enough for buffet standards. As I was getting some sushi, I got some wasabi, but didn't see soy sauce. When I asked a sushi chef where the soy sauce was, he replied that it was on the tables albeit in a rather condescending manner. Okay, so my bad on neglecting to notice the first time, but this is how I get treated as a visitor from out of state?! I got some cuts of meat at the same time, but one of them was full of fat and/or gristle! The noodle bar stood out to me most because I don't ever recall seeing a noodle bar at any other buffet! It's kind of similar to the Mongolian BBQ station where you select your raw toppings and hand them to the chef, who cooks them for you. In the case of this noodle bar, you select from one of four broths: Wonton, Udon, Beef Brisket, and Tonkotsu. Just let the chef know which of these four broths you'd like, and they'll cook it for you! One drawback with this station is that if there are multiple customers' ramen bowls being cooked simultaneously, you may end up grabbing someone other customer's bowl. I also got to try some cotton candy, and that's only because as I was walking by the desserts section, there was an employee finishing up a cotton candy. Since there was no other customer nearby, I simply waited until she handed me the cotton candy. Otherwise, there will be a stand with holes that will hold the cotton candies. And for the (real) dessert, I went with a small bowl of cookies & cream ice cream. I made the mistake of attempting to open a stationary glass panel, thinking it was a sliding door of an ice cream chest LOL. An employee noticed, and I had to tell her which ice cream I wanted, though I also had to ask her what the flavors were since I didn't see any flavor labels. Ice cream was pretty good! Good way to round out a decent lunch buffet! One thing I didn't like was how inconsistently non-punctual they were at picking up plates. I know I shouldn't be comparing, but there was a time when I had three empty plates next to me that weren't picked up! Yet after my first plate, I saw it was taken away when I came back for seconds. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to Feast Buffet, and I would prefer Feast Buffet over East Buffet even though I actually gave both the same rating. However, East Buffet is lower than a 4.0, but I'd rate Feast Buffet higher than a 4.0, though not that much higher to earn the 5th star. Nevertheless, if you're looking for a feast of a buffet, look no further than Feast Buffet!

Grand Buffet from the outside entrance has a humble vibe. There are no fountains or statues. And the bathrooms have a disinfectant quality in the air. Somewhat dated. Not oozing with warmth. But clean in my experience with a no frills way of washing hands before eating. The staff will seat you, but I typically will get the appetizers, then find a seat. The staff are usually quick to see if you don't have a glass and will take your order if you choose to start that way. With families, I'm sure having them seat you is preferred. And seating, even on a busy day, is not too difficult. I estimate seating for about 100 people is available. That's based on a tour bus with 44 Japanese tourists coming in for lunch and not having any difficulty finding seating for lunch. The tour guide said he always brings his customers there after crossing the border from Canada, where they arrived. I mentioned appetizers. In addition there are main dishes, sides, some American offerings (Fried chicken wings, Pacific oysters on the half shell, French fries, crab rangoon), fresh fruit, a variety of salads, salad bar, and desserts including soft serve ice cream. The typical soft drinks, hot tea, or bottled beer is available. Dinner frequently includes salt and pepper fried crab half's. You may miss them at lunch. Sometimes they only serve them for dinner. There is also a Mongolian grill at the back of the buffet, that offers meats (beef, pork) or seafood (shrimp), noodles, vegetables, and different sauces. This is manned by one of the staff to cook your food with your sauce preference. They use a hot flat top grill to cook your food right in front of you. If you have your heart set trying that and don't see any staff, just ask for help from one of the waitresses. To get the full experience do try something from each section. The main dishes have chicken, beef. pork, shrimp, crab, and imitation crab. Easily labeled and recognizable. Buffets are logistical nightmares with the common element of consistency being the goal. Seasoning can also present challenges when trying to make everyone happy. Over the years visiting this place, it's been consistently at the right temperature, seasoned appropriately, well maintained with all serving pans filled with food, and clean. The staff are rock solid. No deviation from being there making sure your glass is full and being polite and helpful. This week I chose a Friday at 3:34 PM. To my surprise the parking lot was half full. Usually there is a steep lull between lunch and dinner. That was the only surprise. Everything else was at a standard I expect. Which is why I come back. ADA parking and access. Parking is ample with overflow parking. As of January 2026 cost for Dinner, one adult: $20.75

It was mostly your standard Chinese fare, all cooked in one way or another: shrimp cooked about 6 different ways, beef and broccoli, a Mongolian grill - just pick your ingredients and bring it to them, as well as a small dessert bar including soft serve with cones! I left satisfied with the options and the price. It's a lot bigger inside and can accommodate large groups, if necessary. We brought in 30 and had our own section. There was still plenty of room and the server comes around refilling drinks regularly (pay for these separately from your dining bill), as well as brings the bill towards the end of your dining experience.
