Great friendly service... I ordered chicken and broccoli with fried rice. The food was bagged and packaged nice with a little zip loc bag with condiments and eating utensils... but other than the egg roll... the food was horrible. Once I got to my room and opened the bag... it smelled almost like burnt rubber. The rice had no flavor... The broccoli was the perfect texture.. but the taste was horrible... 1. Something had changed with the food over the past 2 years. It's not quite the same or as good. 2. Ordering is not always accurate. The most recent issue was receiving pad pet instead of pad thai. Customer is not right at this establishment and just wants your money. 3. Just for reference - their fried rice is the yellow rice and not a Cantonese style fried rice 4. Owner is just rude and not customer friendly. 5. Delivery has gone up to around $5 plus the tip 6. This last time, the owner decided to text me after I complained that my order was wrong, just to confirm I ORDERED incorrectly this time. That's fair. I did. Food is good, for the region. But the service absolutely sucks. Buffet is great because they'll keep up with plate removal and refreshing your drinks. My parents and I are China buffet connoisseurs and find this place extremely acceptable. You get your dollar's worth. I'm surprised to see the rating on here. The food is less greasy, more fresh, less MSG overall compared to, hmm let's say Hibachi. To start off, this place was incredible! The feeling you get when you walk in is welcoming, and you just feel like you are at home here at this establishment. The buffet was phenomenal. There was a selection of items and desserts to pick from. For the price, it is amazing, one of the best buffets I have ever had. There was not a single thing I didn't like about it. We sat down seconds after we walked into the restaurant. According to my buddie, he said the wings were better than the wings from Buffalo Wild Wings. Ordered from here for the first time, and it's unlikely I'll ever order from them again. The fried rice is bland. The crab rangoons arrived dripping with grease. The cashew chicken was decent, had an overabundance of squash, much more than the chicken or cashews. The worst problem, though, is that it took them almost an hour and a half to get the food to me. Granted I live close to the edge of what is probably their delivery area (assuming a 5 mile radius), but an hour and a half is unacceptable. NEVER AGAIN. Wish I could give zero stars. Horrible, horrible, horrible. 1. Ordered delivery, and added a coupon for free General Tso's Chicken since the total came to over $45. Total bill was $50 and some change. #Expensive 2. Food came, and there was no General Tso's Chicken. I called the restaurant and the woman on the phone only kept saying, "you no add coupon, no free chicken." The system they use for online delivery ordering is very finicky, so OF COURSE I could have made a mistake. But guess what? You don't talk to customers like that. She had the nastiest, most impatient, and careless tone. Obviously I was ruining her day. She did not apologize, she did not ask if I would like to use the coupon either that same night or for the next time, just no compromise at all, and ZERO respect. Cherry on top? She slammed the phone down on me as soon as I said with hesitation, "Okay, thank you." 3. I SPECIFICALLY TYPED online, "no broccoli," in my sesame chicken. In fact, the woman on the phone asked if I was the order who asked for no broccoli!! THERE WAS BROCCOLI IN MY CHICKEN. 4. The delivery guy ruined my lawn and did not say anything as we handed him a TEN DOLLAR TIP. He said not one single word, and had ruined our lawn. 5. So my wife is out tonight which leaves me and the boy to figure out what we want for dinner on our fend for ourself food night. He always suggests chinese which to me is a red light saying oh god here is another 30 dollars for 2. I decided to try out a new place other than the one I always went to in the past. So as we pulled up the restaurant didn't really have great eye appeal. The mood was nice when we walked in and I saw they had a all you can eat buffet as well as take out orders which we may try one time in the future, but tonight we are taking our food home. I ordered the popular and very fattening general tso's chicken and my son had the shrimp lo mein. We got the meal to get our egg rolls and rice and I was suprised to see the price on the menu. Usullay places for dinner range from 8 - 15 dollars but thiers was 7 dollars per meal. So already I am excited and scared at the same spending 15 dollars for 2 of us. So it only took no more than 15 minutes probably less. The staff was friendly and nice to work with. While waiting we talked to other people eating there and got a good feeling about the quality of the food from them. The food was indeed tasty and I swear the general tso was very fresh and even had fresh cuts of brocolli in it. My son said his shrimp was delicious and had so much he had it the next day for lunch and said it was still good reheated. To top off the great service and great food they even gave us free chinese doughnuts. I would definitely go back and have already refered people to give them a try. read more

I went here for Chinese food last Saturday. They currently have a huge banner in front of their restaurant advertising a $7.95 dinner buffet special in honor of their 15th anniversary. While that sounded nice, I just stopped in for take out. And while I was waiting for my food, I noticed that everyone else who came in was doing the same thing. It struck me as odd that they have such a large restaurant with a very large buffet section, and there was no one there eating. Saturday night at 7pm? I don't get it. Their food is actually pretty good. To put it into perspective, I have been eating at a number of Chinese restaurants in East Village and Chinatown up in Manhattan recently, and this restaurant is better than some of those places and is holding its own with the rest. Ordered the General Tso's Chicken dinner combination with fried rice and an egg roll. Great amount of food for the price. Food was still hot when I arrived back at my hotel room. The egg roll was amazing, nice and crispy! The General Tso's chicken was awesome. The chicken had great flavor, but was lacking in spice. The rice would be my only complaint, it tasted a bit like cardboard. I did order towards the end of lunch, and maybe if I had ordered at a busier time, the rice would have been better. Ordered delivery from here about 7 months ago... I forgot to review then but was just reminded of our experience there. The person answering the phone was friendly but not helpful enough to let us know that there are different sizes of the entrees. We paid $58 for three adults and had an enormous amount of food that no one wanted to eat. It was awful. We had two chicken entrees and one beef.. the chicken was terrible quality, I don't even know how to describe it other than terrible quality. The beef was the same, not only was the meat awful, the sauce, was terrible as well. It was hot and I remember the delivery coming fairly quickly. The friendliness, hot food, and quick delivery does not make up for terrible food. Nor does it get me back the $58 we wasted on food that went in the garbage. read more

We had been driving for so long, my family and I didn't know in what state we were in. All we knew was that we were tired and hungry and on a budget! We got here by accident since we couldn't get out of a traffic jam. This place was nice. Clean, affordable and your staple chinese take out staples. This is the first time I've visited and I won't be going back. The staff was friendly and the price low for a buffet ($8.95 for dinner) but the food just wasn't very good. Since it was my first time, I sampled small amounts of many items. I liked the spring rolls, coconut chicken and hot pepper chicken. Most of the dishes were very bland (like the chicken and broccoli) or drowned in overly sweet sauce (like the sesame chicken). It's possible that ordering from the menu could result in better quality but I can't recommend the buffet. read more

I am not sure what is going on - maybe new ownership - until recently I would have rated this place 5 stars. Last night was a perfect example of why I am not loving this place anymore. I asked a question and received a snide response. I placed my order and when it was delivered it was wrong. When I called back they did nothing but argue with me about what I ordered. I asked to speak to the owner - only to find out that I was already talking to the owner. When I told him that we had been loyal customers for 15 years plus, ordering at least once a week - he didn't seem to care and took the same snide attitude with me when I ordered. The service as gotten bad, the food is not consistent - sometimes it is good and other times it's not so. Hate to say it but think we will be looking for a new place to get our Chinese food from. I've tried every Chinese restaurant in my area and this is - by far - the best around. I deducted a star because the rice is "eh", but when you ask for chicken extra crispy, they really do make it extra crispy (and not burnt). The portions are generous and I always have left-overs for later in the night when I get hungry again (which always happens when you eat Chinese food, right?). I've never had the buffet, but it always smells delicious when I come through and I've been tempted to try it. I don't like buffets, though, so just couldn't bring myself to sit down and eat - always take-out so I can go home and gorge in peace.
