This Garland location is so much better than the RICHARDSON location. We ordered some chicken strips for a dinner party. We were having and were definitely pleased with the food quality. The last time we went to the Richardson location. The chicken strips look like they've been cut in half and breaded, very anorexic... This store they were plump, yummy and deliciousness. The mashed potatoes were hot, the green beans were hot and everything was tasty, and the gravy wasn't runny. So get your poop together, Richardson Golden Chick! Love me some Golden Chick! read more

Went to the drive thru and the lady specifically told me "we only have one wing"never been to a chicken place that has one wing will never come back to this pos establishment read more

So this is the second time in a few weeks that I have been to this location and so I have to leave a review. 1st visit recently- a Caucasian woman I feel she could of been manager took my order. Repeated it to me smoothly. I just knew it was right... WRONG!! Order all the way wrong ‍. Today I went and we got a 9 piece wing. My husband asked for an extra sauce. He said it's .25 I think. My hubby pays. He hands me the sauce I go to put it the bag. We don't even have the sauce that the meals comes with I can't stand a company that give u one sauce for a 10 piece. You don't think I'm going to run out? read more

We tried the fried shrimp and it was really crunchy and good. It was ready in a short enough time and we brought it home. We already have tried the chicken and we like it also. Good bread. Everything they have has been good. Try it. read more

Fast-service in the dining hall and the prices are really good. The chicken, mac 'n cheese and the cat fish meal are all very good. The dinner rolls are very sweet and fluffy. Plenty of beverages to choose from. The place is incredibly clean. A great place to eat. read more

food was fresh and hot. The employees were friendly and they worked together well as a team. The store was clean so was the parking lot.

Excellent place, I will definitely return for the customer service. I like the chicken tenders with rolls so yummy !!! My family loved this place read more

What a total rip off!!! I just paid $53 for 20 tenders, 2 family sides, 1 extra family side plus 6 additional rolls!!! They left out the 6 additional rolls The FAMILY SIZE sides are about 1/2 the size that they used to be!! Family Size were only about 6 ounces!!! What a rip off! Keep raising prices AND cut the portion sides!! read more

Went through drive in Car in front ordered online but chatted w cashier for 5+ minutes. Ordered catfish. Instead of 3 pieces received a bunch of small, thin, fishless breaded strips. Cole slaw dated on bottom but was rotten so had to toss. Tried 4 times to call and report rotten slaw to avoid serving others but never a response. Done with this place for good read more

My husband & kids were wanting some chicken for lunch and decided to stop in at Golden Chick in Gainesville & i am soooo glad we did! We were greeted immediately by the Manager named Daniel, who was very polite and prompt with taking and preparing our order! The restaurant was very tidy & even so Daniel still found time to come out to the tables and make sure they were all up to standards! He even let us try out their seasonal wings & Honey sirrach sauce which were amazing!! Food was great, service was great, our lunch was wonderful & we are very thankful for your service! we will be back!! read more

I love Golden Chick's food. For a fast food joint, their fried chicken, roasted chicken, fries, and various sides are absolutely amazing. The chicken is mostly fresh, well seasoned, and every bite is delicious. The chicken sandwich, only 50c more expensive than Popeye's, is much larger and possibly tastier than Popeye's! It's a great sandwich with a large crispy chicken, multiple slices of pickles, and a salivating sauce. They even have spicy versions and cholula versions. Amazing. The most valuable asset Golden Chick has is - wait for it - its golden Biscuits. These are by far the best biscuits I've ever had. The crust is smooth, yet the inside is soft, fluffy, and buttery. Every bite is slightly sweet and oh so appetizing. It's more kin to bread than your traditional "biscuit", but no one's complaining. Make sure you get the family-portion sides that come with multi-piece meals though and not the singular sides. The singular sides are too small and really just a taster. read more

It has been a long time since I have been back to this location. Horrible service, wrong orders, etc. plagued this location for a very long time. Well, I am very happy to say that everything was exceptional. Even with the long line of cars in the drive-thru, they got my order perfect! Two employees repeated my order back to me, which is so simple but is the only way places can make sure an order is correct. The food tasted great as always. I am so happy that Golden Chick got their groove back. Next time I will have to try their Cholula Chicken Sandwich. read more

This is the 2nd time they have given me tenders without gravy. What the heck am I supposed to dip my tenders in!!!!!

I asked for fresh chicken tenders and fries I was told it would be 10 to 15 minutes for them. After 20 minutes they brought me out old over cooked chicken tenders. The gravy is in a container it doesn't belong in with a drink cup lid on it. By the time I got home I had an empty gravy container and a bag full of gravy. I guess I should be happy they didn't give me the extra gravy I bought because it probably would've been out in the bag too. If you are looking for good golden chick, this isn't it. Head in the other direction to the efficient location at Jupiter and 14th. read more

First time at golden chick and I will not be returning. I will just drive to canes chicken no wonder they are always packed.

Golden Chick is BETTER than Canes. Periodt. I literally get the same thing every time I go- 4 piece tender combo, half & half, gravy, w/ french fries and will probably never switch it up. The french fries there are probably the best french fries from a fast food joint and that goes for the strips too. I'm craving it as I write this... read more

Golden Chick - 4 Piece Tender Combo - Fast Food Near Me - Garland, Texas

Takes 10 mins for a chicken sandwich after I pull forward, then they leave out the fucking salad and toss a hand full of fries in the bag fuck you never coming back read more

Just isn't how it used to be. No more of the 20tender with 5 rolls, one side and gravy specials we use to get. Or the staff just didn't know. At least the staffs was nice. Ending up paying $29.22 for 16 tenders, two side, gravy and 4 rolls. Tenders are either smaller or my luck wasn't there and my pieces was small for my order. Would've been better if we went to Babe's, with more option of unlimited sides, flavors and be around the same price. Will only come to this location if there's special cause other golden chick locations definitely has specials. This one just happen to be right next to the house. Chicken only taste great if they come right out of the frier. Pros: Awesome nice staffs Cons: no special deals while other stores still have them. Even other place like church's, KFC, even their own golden chick of other location has them. read more

The couple fries I ate when I got home were pretty good. The only trouble is, I didn't order fries. I ordered chicken bits. Luckily I don't live far and was able to go back and wait another 20 minutes while they fixed the correct item. And they didn't even offer me the fries....they tossed them out!!! Think I'll stick with Chick-fil-a. read more

They don't have spicy chicken first then they don't have corn nuggets just close down already!!

WORST SERVICE: Went to order the 16 pc chicken and the sides. The women that took our order was very rude and erupt and kept interrupting while ordering. When I pulled to the window, the same women who took the order confirmed that we ordered the 16pc and took the Payment of $40 for everything. Took the card and charged then send to go to the front and they will bring out the food. I parked in front and then a different women came out with ONLY A SANDWICH. I told her I ordered the 16 of and she went back and the women that took our order (wearing a blue shirt, short brown hair, middle age) and said to pull around because she cancelled our order and only charged for the the sandwich. What sandwich is $40 and then we have the recceipt and shoes everything there. She kept telling us to go back around bc "if she doesn't charge for the 16pc again she will get in trouble and she will have to pay for it" what she said to the customer. Completely stupid and lack of professionalism. Was just rude and again interrupting while we tried to explain. Hopefully she gets fired bc she also messed up the person in front's order read more

Service was great, food was great, would have been a 5 star but we were approached by a person with crutches and he reeked of sweat and alcohol. He touched our food and we decide to leave. Not blaming the management for this incident but I feel that if someone is bothering your guest you should at least check to make sure everything is alright read more

My home location. Usually get good service and my food is always fresh. No complaints!

Amazing. Cheaper than most chicken places, but doesn't taste cheap by any means. Few ice cream?! Yes! Chicken is amazing!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING!!! Brings around rolls whenever people are eating like Spring Creek BBQ. Yes! Seriously I love this place. Thank you, Golden Chick! THIS WAS THE BEST! I really recommend this place, guys! read more

My friend who is a local bought the 3 piece tender meal. We ate it at home and according to him, it isn't how it's supposed to be usually. The tenders were soft and just not crispy. It was just bad. We will definitely return to golden chick but NOT this location. Please stay away from this location or else you will be wasting away your money. read more

Too salty! Couldn't taste the food at all. Everything just tasted like salt. Especially the dirty rice but also the chicken. Maybe some people like that but we ended up throwing it all away. read more

This place is very quick! They have a good amount of staff to get things done efficiently.Im a big fan off their rolls!

This place has mac and cheese which is like the only thing they have over chicken express. I think th e y are ok their tenders and very crispy but the rolls are good. I guess if you're really into chicken tenders then give it a shot, but if you're looking around then I would suggest something else. But the cool thing about this place is that they have a patio so that's kind of cool :) read more

Oh these people are amazing. I use to eat there a lot and I always loved their food. And where to even start about the staff. Every single one of them are amazing.
