So this is the second time in a few weeks that I have been to this location and so I have to leave a review. 1st visit recently- a Caucasian woman I feel she could of been manager took my order. Repeated it to me smoothly. I just knew it was right... WRONG!! Order all the way wrong ‍. Today I went and we got a 9 piece wing. My husband asked for an extra sauce. He said it's .25 I think. We were greeted immediately by the Manager named Daniel, who was very polite and prompt with taking and preparing our order! The restaurant was very tidy & even so Daniel still found time to come out to the tables and make sure they were all up to standards! He even let us try out their seasonal wings & Honey sirrach sauce which were amazing!! I love Golden Chick's food. For a fast food joint, their fried chicken, roasted chicken, fries, and various sides are absolutely amazing. The chicken is mostly fresh, well seasoned, and every bite is delicious. The chicken sandwich, only 50c more expensive than Popeye's, is much larger and possibly tastier than Popeye's! It's a great sandwich with a large crispy chicken, multiple slices of pickles, and a salivating sauce. They even have spicy versions and cholula versions. Amazing. The most valuable asset Golden Chick has is - wait for it - its golden Biscuits. These are by far the best biscuits I've ever had. The crust is smooth, yet the inside is soft, fluffy, and buttery. Every bite is slightly sweet and oh so appetizing. It's more kin to bread than your traditional "biscuit", but no one's complaining. Make sure you get the family-portion sides that come with multi-piece meals though and not the singular sides. The singular sides are too small and really just a taster. read more

It has been a long time since I have been back to this location. Horrible service, wrong orders, etc. plagued this location for a very long time. Well, I am very happy to say that everything was exceptional. Even with the long line of cars in the drive-thru, they got my order perfect! Two employees repeated my order back to me, which is so simple but is the only way places can make sure an order is correct. The food tasted great as always. I asked for fresh chicken tenders and fries I was told it would be 10 to 15 minutes for them. After 20 minutes they brought me out old over cooked chicken tenders. The gravy is in a container it doesn't belong in with a drink cup lid on it. By the time I got home I had an empty gravy container and a bag full of gravy. I guess I should be happy they didn't give me the extra gravy I bought because it probably would've been out in the bag too. If you are looking for good golden chick, this isn't it. Just isn't how it used to be. No more of the 20tender with 5 rolls, one side and gravy specials we use to get. Or the staff just didn't know. At least the staffs was nice. Ending up paying $29.22 for 16 tenders, two side, gravy and 4 rolls. Tenders are either smaller or my luck wasn't there and my pieces was small for my order. Would've been better if we went to Babe's, with more option of unlimited sides, flavors and be around the same price. WORST SERVICE: Went to order the 16 pc chicken and the sides. The women that took our order was very rude and erupt and kept interrupting while ordering. When I pulled to the window, the same women who took the order confirmed that we ordered the 16pc and took the Payment of $40 for everything. Took the card and charged then send to go to the front and they will bring out the food. I parked in front and then a different women came out with ONLY A SANDWICH. I told her I ordered the 16 of and she went back and the women that took our order (wearing a blue shirt, short brown hair, middle age) and said to pull around because she cancelled our order and only charged for the the sandwich. What sandwich is $40 and then we have the recceipt and shoes everything there. She kept telling us to go back around bc "if she doesn't charge for the 16pc again she will get in trouble and she will have to pay for it" what she said to the customer. If I could give negative stars at this location I would. Literally every time I pull up to this place they always ask me to pull up to the menu. Tonight I was just looking over the menu at the drive thru (I mean I ALWAYS have to pull up but tonight I wanted something different so I politely tell the lady on the speaker that I would pull up but I wanted to look at the menu first. She literally asked me FOUR times to pull up and FOUR times I told her I was still looking over the menu. I work in customer service so I try not to be hard on wait staff or food staff but I always have issues with their staff being rude and condescending. So I went next door to Griff's. Best move ever. They are ALWAYS NICE AND WELCOMING. THEY ALWAYS OFFER A DRINK CARRIER WITHOUT ASKING WHEN YOU ORDER MORE THAN ONE DRINK. AND THEY SMILE!! On their busiest night.
