Normally don't review chains but the lady in the drive through told us the wrong thing and then was rude about it. Just miserable human.

Waited 15-20 minutes in the drive-thru with no movement, and several cars behind us left -- we eventually did too. I went inside with my 7-year-old to order, and the restaurant smelled strongly like marijuana mixed with food. We stood in line while the cashier (Tonaaya M.) kept her back to us, didn't acknowledge us, and continued helping others while laughing/playing around. When I asked for help, she said "hold on" without even looking at me. Another employee was standing nearby and I had to ask her directly to help. Overall the service was rude, slow, and unprofessional. I've filed a complaint with Golden Chick corporate about the service and the conditions in the store. Won't be back. read more

OMG !! I ordered online order went through great got to the restaurant. It wasn't ready. No big deal asked me to pull up. I did please see the attached picture on the heaping order of coleslaw. I received. I like the fact that it lets you substitute a drink for an extra side, which I did, but I didn't get the extra side I requested all thighs, but of course they were out of thighs so I got breasts. On April 18, 2025 my husband and I went through the drive thru. We ordered the fish and shrimp dinner, and a family size order of chicken. My husband wanted the shrimp and fish. He said the shrimp tasted like it had been sitting under a lamp since noon. No meat, just breading, and the fish wasn't any better. I had the two wings, some okra and fries. It was ok. I purchased lunch today with cash, when I finished the 8-piece tender meal with a side salad and fries along with a large punch, I took the top off and saw a black bug walking around in the drink. Not sure if I was given a receipt, but no receipt could be found. I called and went back to the restaurant - manager Pat quickly took the 1/3 eaten meal and the drink with the black bag in it BUT but they would not give me my $16 dollars and some change back - NO REFUND because the Pat manager said she needed the order number to put in the computer AND since the order didn't register on either of the 2 computers (although she said they had computer problems during the noon time) - NO REFUND. I've tried this location and this brand of chicken for the second time now, and I have to say that both times have been hot, fresh and consistent. The rolls are super soft with a hint of sweetness to them. The catfish and chicken were seasoned just right and was nice and crispy. I also enjoy the crunchy French fries, along with a side of gospel that they play in the dining area. The cashier at the front was nice but, a little language etiquette could be brushed upon since she let a curse word loose, but was quickly corrected by her coworker. This is the closest one to me, and it has never disappointed me. I always order the four piece chicken strips, all spicy with fries, ranch, and a big red. The fries, are the right amount of crispy, in my opinion. My mouth is getting watery thinking about. When we order family style we always order chicken, fries, and mac. The Mac here is so good, you will not be displeased. The sweet tea as well, is always the right amount of sweet. If you eat inside you will also be able to get a ice cream cone. read more

I felt so bad, the Owners were obviously there, as they sat in the air conditioned seated area, and the cooks, were sweating profusely in the back with nothing but a fan. its 95 degrees outside and ovens, fryers were going. My friends and I arrived to discover that the lobby was closed so we decided to go through the drive thru. We let the person that took our order (Keshayla) know that it was three separate orders since we all had different payment methods and asked if that was okay with her. She repeated what we said and then she let out a loud heavy sigh. We asked if it was okay but she went ahead and asked what the first order was and so forth. I asked for a 6 piece combo and only received 5 pieces and one of those pieces was super dry, falling apart, and hard to chew. My friend who also ordered 6 pieces only got 4 pieces. My other friend did get all of his pieces. Unfortunately, we didn't check our orders as they gave them to us in one bag. I always check but tonight we didn't. We arrived at our destination and that's when we realized that we got "gypped" as my friend pointed out. I understand that it's a drive thru order which is why we asked if that was okay with her but she only responded with a very loud and heavy sigh. This was the worst experience I've had at this location if I don't count the time that there was a guy bothering us for money and none of their employees told him anything. I was so glad to find this place a few months ago but customer service had definitely declined in the last few weeks. Pretty much whole staff is rude. As soon as we parked before 9pm, the cashier who was taking out trash rolls her eyes and walks back in. While taking our order she's annoyed that we ordered a somewhat big meal. The lady cook threw the corn nuggets on the counter and the other lady putting the food together said it was clean and asked if we still wanted them. Never again will I visit this establishment! The drive-thru line was long so I went inside. I had to wait about 15 minutes for my food. I had 4 hungry kids waiting in the car. I got home, my wings were not spicy, no seasoning what so ever! I got a kids meal with a chicken leg. There was no chicken leg in my order! Then when I drove all the way back there...the owner did not replace my order! He gave me a hard time. While I was arguing with him-someone else brought their wrong order back too.
