My husband and I stopped at this Whataburger as we were passing through town. I believe it's store 129. The person that was taking our order was smiling. I need to go to the ladies room so I went it needed a code at first I was skeptical because I needed a code. I got the code and went in and the restroom was Spick and span. So clean.! I went back out. The food was there on the table with my husband and it was very hot and good. I went up to the front to ask the store number another big smile, a different person and they were happy to help. It was very clean and they were very nice. Had never been to the store before and if we go back through again, we would stop there. Thank you so much. We visited three times during our stay in the Dallas area in order to give it a full whata chance. I can't say I'm a big fan. The service was relatively friendly for fast food and the restaurant was clean so that's worth something. The food is well... a bit better than average for fast food I would say. The cheese jalapeno biscuits for breakfast were our favorite. The first time we had a patty melt, it was pretty good. The second time, we were less impressed. We also got a jalapeno and bacon burger that was ok but super dry. The fries were typical fast food horrible. The onion rings were tasteless. Our orders were correct but several people were complaining their orders were not right. It seemed many customers use the drive through and then come in the restaurant to get their order fixed. I think they make your food to order because it's not "fast". It took about 15-20 minutes to get our orders. Life is good when you try something new. read more

A WHOPPING 5 Star Experience for my FIRST Whataburger in 15 years! Hadn't been home to Texas in 15. FILTHY.... Counters, floors and restroom. Out of sweet tea and carbonation for sodas. When I arrived, I stood at the counter for 4 minutes before I was help, all while 5 employees huddled around loudly saying how they were "slaving around this biz". After watching this crew dance around the kitchen area decided to order a drink (employee had to finish fixing her hair before she could ring me up), use the unsanitary restroom (another employee standing there on her phone watching TikTok) and order food somewhere else. This is the absolute worse whataburger ever. Managers and manager and team leads all here at the same time it's 12 employees here and 12 cars in line And 3 people in dining room. And they are loud talking about other things besides working and getting orders out. The managers are playing and talking to employees. They closed at 6 and playing. Yuck, yuck, yuck!!!! I love Whataburger, but this was a terrible experience. The burger was sloppily made and was barely on par with Burger King. It also had a very strong rancid fish odor, I ate half and it went in the trash. I also ordered a chocolate milkshake that had NO flavor other than sweet. This went in the trash after about two sips. I rarely eat fast food, and when I do I expect it to be decent. This was terrible and a waste of money. Neither item I ordered was worth the calories, so they went in the trash. What a shame, because Whataburger is one of my favorite fast food places. I should have went to Braum's which is about a mile away and FAR superior. read more

Coming from Atlanta to Dallas/Fort Worth area had to try the famous Texas staple burger chain. And it wasn't disappointed at all. Searched on the GPS for the nearest one when around Cedar Hill State Park and ended on this Duncanville location. The place was neat and clean. Good service. The Whataburger with cheese meal was very good, paired with some crispy fries. Overall a pleasant burger chain experience. read more
