I understand that your schedule may be demanding, and it's possible that not all items are double-checked during the pick-up process, especially given the nature of the service. However, I find it concerning that customers may receive items that do not match the description provided in the order, such as dried mashed potatoes instead of the expected dish. This discrepancy is disappointing and warrants attention to ensure consistency and quality for all customers. read more

I'm late...was in this location last week. The staff was extremely hardworking. The young lady with the lashes was really sweet. She was working the counter and fixing all the orders for the customers inside. A+ rating for that shift read more

So we have to find the comedy in everything right? LOL my son wanted Golden Chick so we stopped here. Well it was about a whole good hour before closing time but the place was CLOSED. No longer taking orders. Lights out. And the workers.. outside smoking weed LOL!!!! Can't make this stuff up!! Hey we all need some relaxation I guess in todays world, at least it's not meth. I don't blame anyone these days. Is it inconvenient and frustrating? Yes. Is it the end of the world? No. You just gotta laugh and leave. Maybe next time. read more

Golden Chick - a view of a parking lot from a bus window - Fast Food Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I ordered the fried fish with coleslaw, fries and a side order of hot, chicken wings yesterday from the Golden Chick located at 410 W. Kiest Blvd, Dallas, TX (through the Uber Eats App). The catfish fillets were very small, nothing like the photos on the app, probably had been cut in half like Reecie K. said in her post. Also, they left out my chicken wings that I had paid extra for, the rolls were smashed, the coleslaw tasted terrible and the fish and fries were cold when they arrived. I contacted Uber Eats right after my food arrived to let them know that part of my order was missing and I am not happy with the fact that they have not responded, nor refunded my money yet. Do not do business with this company, they are deceiving people and refusing to refund your money! Charging people for food they did not receive is fraud. Bonnie B. read more

ordered my meal asked for extra condiments paid for it waited too long asked if extra condiments were in bag Employee says yes Get home to eat, and missing sides No extra condiments Called store to report poor service First person claimed to be manager Another heard call and claimed to be manager, but did not know the store's corporate ID number. It was hard to enjoy the meal. We gotta do better While Golden Chick is decent the service is horrible. Take a lesson from chic fil a! read more

The catfish filets are so small. I suspect that they split one filet to make two. I'm still hungry. Cole slaw was delicious though. And my server made a half/half sweet tea/unsweetened tea as I asked. Very disappointed. read more

I ordered two rotisserie meals. Leg and thigh that I received was like a kids meal. The rolls were hard. Never had this experience but there too many kids without one older person. They play too much for one. read more

This place has been renovated and I had really high hopes. Unfortunately it seems like things haven't gotten better. The tenders are hard, the mashed potatoes are bland, the gravy has a funky flour taste, the tea is still diabetes in a cup (which I realize most folks enjoy), and the only thing that was good was the yeast rolls. I just can't continue to throw my money out the window as a kids meal & a 4 piece tender was almost $15. read more

Cookies were hard and tasted bad. I always buy these cookies and these tasted old. Every time I get fish here its mostly batter and no fish

Food is decent. Was waiting at the intercom for 6 minutes before someone spoke to us. No one even said hold on. We were there for 30 minutes with only three cars in front of us when we initially got there. We were told to pull to the side and wait for our order. When we pulled to the window there just seemed to be too many people standing around and talking for us to be waiting that long for food. If it's not fast food just say that. This place is always packed. If you're starving. Just cook. read more

It is more often than not a pleasure to wait in the long a55 lines because our food has always been fresh and the people have always been friendly. Unfortunately, there have been a few occasions where some food was not given to us accidentally but ehhhh, I'm not going to make anyone's life hell over it. It's convenient, foods always good and I don't feel like cooking so. read more

So we was really busy at my job and wasn't able to get a break I called my son to grab me some lunch he went to the Golden Chick off Westmoreland and Camp Wisdom by Redbird Mall. Well the fries so hard as a BRICK THE CHICKEN was ok but could have been better the roll was a little hard and then I wasn't able to eat it cause the fries almost broke one of my brackets on my braces. Then had me in the bathroom and my stomach messed up the rest of the day. I had to call my son and ask him where he got the food from? What location so I would NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. BUT I WILL HAVE TO REPORT THIS ONE IF YOU EXPECT PEOPLE TO SPEND THEIR MONEY ON FOOD THIS BAD THEN TO HAVE YOU IN THE BATHROOM THAT AINT KOOL. read more

My family loves this place! I have to start with the staff is always friendly and don't get me started on the food! It's ALWAYS fresh and warm! I am speaking from experience post the stay at home order due to the COVID-19 pandemic, every time we stop by, the service here is pretty darn fast! We have already recommended and will continue to recommend this location! read more

The manager is mean to one of the Hispanic boys for packing my order and I was in the lobby for as long as 30 minutes and the manager sent the boy home and I feel like that was wrong of her and need to have her apologize for what she did because she was in the wrong and all the boy did was try to make sure I get my food read more

poor service! horrible! employees forgot food and had attitudes. never coming back, food was hard as a rock like it was old and no plastic ware! wouldnt recommend to anyone ever. read more

Never coming back! I normally don't post reviews unless the establishment went above and beyond or gave piss poor service. They weren't particularly rude but extremely uninterested in what I ordered. Half of my food was missing and one of my drinks, by then I just wanted to leave instead of fighting for a drink that wasn't worth my mental health. Very disappointing because the food is good but not worth ever making another trip. read more

HORRIBLE! Never really do reviews but this location flat out sucks. Every time I come it never fails that they do something wrong & / or don't have something. Just got home from getting a meal & THEY DIDN'T EVEN PUT MY GRAVY IN THERE. Very annoyed. Do not recommend this location at all. read more

This golden chick doesn't need to have the name I've been to several and this one on Keist is the worse placing my order I literally had to repeat it 4 times. I spent $12 on a combo and asked to be sure the chicken was fresh because the last time I popped in the grease was old ...well it wasn't any better I tried calling 5 times and got no answer I can't go back because im at work . If you want fresh chicken this isn't it. Waste of money and time. I hope management see this hell corporate would be better read more

I was hungry for some dinner so I went to Golden Chick. Of course it's not the very best of town to be in but it'll do for now. There drive-through speaker for them needs to be worked on because they cannot hear you sometimes.after I placed my order and came around service was quite quick I got my food and when I got home that chicken that I bought was so juicy and good I bought the roasted chicken which was the eight piece special mix with sides I had the mashed potatoes with gravy and themac & cheese corn on the cob coleslaw dirty rice all my God it's spicy and it is good and they had dinner rolls to go with my meal with honey , I have tried their fried chicken which is good but the roasted is the best that's what I would recommend till next time. read more

Delicious fried chicken but in terms of time, it's not as "fast" as it should be. There's almost always a line, whether you opt for the drive-thru or going inside. Cashiers aren't rude but they're not the most enthusiastic. Actually, nobody here looks happy to be alive. LMDAO. Love the Zesty spice... the dirty rice... read more

Made sure she charged me $.25 per packet but I had to spend$1 because all I had was my card; but forgot to give me napkins! But that chicken was good and the rolls were hot! Way to bounce back from the napkins lol read more

The food was Cold. Barely any fries. Hard rolls, and I didn't even get the correct order.

I come here often should have left a review earlier. ALWAYS GREAT SERVICE. And quick I've never waited too long in any line. Amanda took my order today and showed excellent southern hospitality. And the food is good every time. Stopped in today to just grab a quick lunch for the family. Was greeted and told thank you. I haven't been in Texas for more than two years and this place is a staple because of the people. read more

"Welcome to Golden Chick. At the moment, we currently don't have anything left." So, either A. You just don't want to cook/serve anything within 15 minutes of closing, and youre being lazy. Or B. You actually don't have anything left. Either way, one star. read more

*Tasty and Juicy Chicken *Mashed Potatoes need more Gravy *Best Buttered Biscuit ever **Before closing your establishment please make sure all patrons are gone, walking out of the restroom to find all of the doors locked is a little unsettling.** Overall a pretty good 15 minute stop for chicken. read more

Was in the drive thru for 35 min. For them to tell me they ran out of food. Never again coming to any Golden chicken

The staff is nice but easily distracted. They didn't have ice and the drink was watered down. The food was great but they messed up my order and gave me just gravy instead of my mashed potatoes. I would have brought it up but it got busier and I didn't want to bother. We actually ended up just getting water from here as our drinks and went next door to McDonald's to get soda. Other than that, everything else was great. I'll definitely give them another chance simply because it could have been an off day for them. It happens so I'll definitely be back. read more
