We ordered salad, falafels, lentil soup, French fries, rice, chicken, and hummus. The falafel was different from the usual falafel you get elsewhere, It was much softer and had such a delicious, moist texture, now.... they cook the best lentil soup I've ever had in my life!! French fries were cooked perfectly. The chicken breast was also really GOOD!! My husband ordered a full portion of chicken, and he was blown away by how flavorful and tender it was. And the hummus is an absolute MUST. I LOOOVE IT!!!! We ordered way too much because everything looked so good, and at some point we literally had to tell ourselves, "Okay, we need to stop eating." Lol We live in Chicago, and I tbh.... can't think of a Mediterranean restaurant there that compares to this place. My fiancee loved her frozen Rasberry Lemonade. They also offer pita, and a beautiful, huge crock of hummus. I got the Butchers Burger and it was delicious! Medium, good beef, juicy, bun substantial but not wet, good amount of cheese, good bun to beef ratio, I have no complaints, it went in my belly. The fries are also amazing. Angenerous portion, seasoned just right, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. My fiancee got the 4 skewer meal which in hindsight, is probably for 2 people. She was crazy about the beef and chicken skewers, and also enjoyed spicy ground beef and sojuk. It came with rice, charred onion, and tomato, and 2 sides. Staff is helpful and friendly. A delicious and very well run establishment.

Instead of fresh fountain I was given a can of diet soda even though their refills used to be free, didn't mind, sat down and started waiting for my food, the person who brought my food literally placed the tray on my table, mumbled few words in the mouth and left, no "enjoy the food" or "let me know if you need anything elsel". Mind you I paid 35 bucks for 2 burgers with 1 side of fries. I was not at the drive through of Mcdonalds. Anyways all of these things can be ignored if the food was upto the standard. The chicken piece inside the burger was over cooked, fries in the burger, pale and no flavor, bacon, smaller then a french fry, store bought cheese like it was slapped on top with zero love. I asked for mayo and it felt like they ran out of mayo and just took the last scoop and smacked it on my burger, kept looking for mayo, couldn't find it. The side of french fries was good. No sauces on the burger either. I am highly disappointed and I hope the management reads this and fixes these issues, as I would love to stay a regular customer and change my review back to 5 star. The crushed lentil soup has a lot of rice in it, which is just filler to me. Has some clumps of something, may be rice and starch? It's too inconvenient to drive all the way back. The fresh bread, rice, and overall quality of the meal reminded me why Dearborn has become one of my favorite food destinations whenever I'm in Michigan. What made the experience even better was the service from Murad. From the moment I sat down, Murad was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. He got my food out quickly, checked on me throughout the meal without being intrusive, and before I left, he thoughtfully brought me a wonderful cup of tea to finish the evening. His warm smile, positive attitude, and professionalism made a great meal even more memorable. Restaurants can serve excellent food, but great hospitality is what keeps people coming back.
