The venue was wonderful with its outdoor setting and tents for our guests to opt to spend the night in. We got married May 29th, 2021 and it was the perfect day. Love that it was next to the river. So many of our guests said it was one of, or the, most beautiful weddings they had ever been too. This venue is great with the different locations allowing for a unique setting for the ceremony, dinner, cocktail hour, and dancing. There is so much space. The venue was also incredible because they informed us a local business would have a live band during our wedding and that they would work with them on the key moments. We checked in with the venue as we were concerned about our live musician, a harpist, having to compete with another live band close by, as well as our first dance. Laura worked with the business to coordinate the live band playing the following day. While I felt bad for that, I really appreciated our venue working on preserving those key moments for our wedding. We went back and forth on going with Coloma Weddings for our catering. We are SO glad we went with them; heard lots of good feedback on the dinner which was delicious!! Thank you for much for everything!

Sitting on the shores of the South Fork of the American River, is a lovely spot with two possible areas for eating, set up for a bar, a dance floor, camping in large cabins overlooking the river, and a cozy and beautifully decorated honeymoon cottage. We had about 110 guests who were happy with everything, including the delicious dinner for the wedding guests, and breakfast for those who stayed in the campground. Jerry and his crew do an amazing job of coordinating everything at this unique venue. Notwithstanding, we had to contend with a "winter storm" in May, yet everything was handled with grace and good cheer. We so highly recommend Earthtrek!

We…read morefeel so fortunate to have been able to host our wedding here - it was everything we'd dreamed of and more. From the moment we stepped onsite for our initial tour, EarthTrek was the immediate and obvious top choice for us. The grounds and facilities are very well kept and it's obvious that the family takes a lot of pride in the way they care for the site. There are so many areas for guests to explore and enjoy - many of our guests raved to us about the beautiful, serene venue. The river provides such a soothing backdrop and the whole site feels very private and secluded. We really loved that our guests could book overnight camping, and we also opted for the breakfast burrito option on Sunday morning, which was a big hit and a really delicious, bountiful spread. Laura, who was our primary point of contact, is a dream to work with - just genuinely one of the nicest people I've ever come across, and so accommodating and responsive (which is exactly what you hope for when you're planning a wedding). Our wedding was very DIY and decor-forward, and Laura was so great about scheduling site visits with us so we could plan and take measurements. I could go on and on, but basically: EarthTrek is incredible and I highly recommend working with them at their beautiful venue.

The entrance is jaw dropping, the ceremony site is beautiful, and the reception area is the perfect party spot! The wraparound deck at the reception site is overlooking the vineyard and it gives great photo opportunities for your guests while they wait for you to take your own pictures. Between the sunset and the vineyard in the background, it's amazing! I can't tell you how many of my guests changed their profile picture on Facebook to a picture they took at David Girard with the vineyard in the background. The other reason I give this review 5 starts is because Keri, Diana, and Darci are AMAZING! They listened to every request of ours and they more than accommodated everything. From the first meeting, to the weekly phone calls I made with questions, to the day of the wedding they were beyond helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better team to guide us through the stressful process of planning a wedding. We knew we wanted a venue that included most things (ceremony and reception site, day of coordinating, catering, DJ, etc.). David Girard provided all of that! The food was such a hit! We chose the buffet and everyone loved it. The DJ (Steve) was awesome, the girls (Keri, Diana, and Darci) couldn't have been a better fit for us, and like I said before, the venue itself is just breathtaking. I wish I could relive my wedding day once a year; that's how perfect everything was! Note: We got married in October, 2016 and the weather was perfect.

We booked this venue about 1.5 years before our wedding date. They provided timelines and suggestions on what to do to prepare for your wedding. Then reminded you when you had appointments coming up and were flexible if you were running slightly late. They had tons of options to make the wedding personalized for you, from the food to the decorations and even the timeline. I told them that I did not want to be stressed out at my wedding, I had heard horror stories about brides not enjoying their wedding because of this or that. Liz did a fantastic job of wrangling all the wedding party together, organizing the first looks, putting someone in charge to make sure we got some of the food we purchased. I threw last minute add-ons like drone pictures and a remote control car with a 2 yr old in it at her and she handled as the pro she is. We used the recommended flower shop (Camino Flower shop) to provide the flowers. She is such a fun lady to work with. I'm not a person who usually can express exactly what I want, but she read between the lines and created a truely unique bouquet with the blue orchids (did you know there was such a thing?). We also used Cocomont (not included the wedgewood package) to help us with our decoration. This included a elegant rustic wooden panel and huge drapes to go high into the beams. It really added the personal touch we were looking for. Frank's Bakery from Cameron Park was the vendor for our desserts. He made the most delicious lemon bars and cupcakes. Then Grant DJ was our MC, who kept the party going till it was time to turn-off the lights. We were dancing all night long, with no lulls in the music. Overall this is a romantic, elegant, and beautiful venue run by a management who are truely the professionals at what they do. I was able to actually enjoy my wedding and not worry about whether we were on time. This is something you won't hear many brides say, just ask your friends. I loved every minute of my wedding and I will remember it for eternity. Thank you Wedgewood Weddings at David Girard Vineyards!

We had an absolutely beautiful wedding at this venue! The property itself is stunning, but what…read moretruly made our day unforgettable was our coordinator, Taylor. She was incredible from start to finish. I had my twin infant babies with me, and Taylor made sure the bridal suite was fully prepared so they could stay with me the entire day. She provided hot water for warming bottles, put up a sign to ensure privacy, and checked in constantly to make sure we had everything we needed. She was always kind, attentive, and went above and beyond in every way. Working with her was an absolute joy, and she truly made our wedding day run smoothly. The only cons we experienced: * Transportation: When we booked the venue, we were told getting Ubers wouldn't be a problem, especially since we opted for the open bar. On the night of our wedding, some of our guests weren't able to get an Uber back to their hotel in Auburn. Thankfully, the security guard was kind enough to drive them back since they were the last guests without a ride, which we deeply appreciated. * Food selection: While the venue offers a lot of menu options, you're limited to tasting only what's served at the Wedding Extravaganza. They mentioned these events happen twice a year, but even though we booked our wedding more than a year in advance, we were only invited to one. Because of that, we had to choose dishes we weren't able to taste, and the options we did try at the extravaganza weren't great. * Cake: The vendor partnered with the venue provided a very dry cake, so we would suggest couples consider getting a cake from their own preferred bakery. * Contact: It was sometimes difficult to reach the venue by phone, as calls weren't always answered, though emails were always responded to promptly. Despite these issues, our overall experience, especially thanks to Taylor, was truly wonderful. The venue itself is breathtaking, and the support we received on our wedding day made it feel magical. We would absolutely recommend this venue, particularly for couples who want a beautiful location and a coordinator who genuinely cares and goes above and beyond.

Worked out great since many mutual friends were already in Reno and conveniently there is a chapel just down the escalators from the main floor. Beautiful venue. Simplistic and very high-end all at once. Rows of chairs on either side of the aisle with an altar, some steps, and a piano at the front. All of the small details were handled perfectly - a sign announcing the bride and groom, wedding cake, and celebratory drinks on top of the piano. Behind the scenes (literally behind a very decorative curtain) is a back area with rooms for privacy to change and prepare for the big day. The pastor was great. A friend played the piano as a wedding march and then sang a beautiful song for the couple. Huge congrats to our friends AnnMarie and Michael. So glad we were able to be there for them at their nuptials - especially in such a wonderful setting.
