I called he told me he didn't do it because he couldn't take the plate off.. I'm like dude u had all these days to tell me u told me on the day I picked up? The screw was just simple torx... I really wouldn't recommend this place cause the guy simply just don't give a fuck about ur time and stuff Just to answer the manager of the shop I told u about the baffle before you took my valve covers in and say you can take them off. You had 5 days and you couldn't have told me you weren't able to take them off? You could of gave me a call and tell me I even followed up with you and you didn't say anything about it until an hour before my pick up time you tell me you didn't do it and need to drag out to next Monday what a joke.

I was told one wheel needed a125 reseal, and another just needed a 25 corrosion cleanup. A few days later, I got a call that the second wheel also needed a reseal. During that phone call, I made a mistake. It was early, I was taking care of my baby, and I quickly said, so it's gonna be 300. He agreed. Later, I realized that didn't match the original pricing. Two reseals at 125 each should have been 250. When I picked up the wheels and brought this up, instead of a professional conversation, I was met with hostility. There was no written estimate to reference and rather than discussing the misunderstanding, I was argued with and spoken to disrespectfully in front of other customers. I was basically told they didn't want my business anymore. I own a business myself, and when misunderstandings happen, I focus on resolving them respectfully, even if I think I'm right, because customer service matters. I paid the 250 because that's what I understood to be correct based on the original pricing. My issue isn't the 50 dollars, it's how I was treated. Respectful communication goes a long way. I won't be returning. Update: When I dropped off the wheels, I watched him write on a notepad125 for a reseal and 25 for corrosion cleanup. Later, when told the wheel didn't need corrosion but wheel needed a re-seal, I mistakenly said300 on the phone. When I came back, I asked to see that original note because I knew what I saw written, but he refused to show it or said he didn't have it. I paid 250. My concern is how the quote changed and how I was spoken to when I asked a simple question. Instead of addressing the documentation, the response turned personal. I stand by my experience and hope for respectful communication in the future. I know what I heard and what I saw written. I just wish that had been acknowledged instead of dismissed.

That said, the person I worked with was very friendly and tried to help and explain the situation, which I appreciated. Tesla's response? Blame the driving conditions, even though the tire itself had no damage and it was pretty clear the crack wasn't new. Then they quoted us over $600 for a replacement rim with mounting and balancing. Ouch. Thankfully, Salinas Tire pointed us to 1-800-EveryRim, and I'm glad they did. Ralph was outstanding. They have their private parking lot and a small clean entry room before their warehouse. Rang the bell, explained how my husband was going back-and-forth via email with someone, Nishan Michaelian, Online Sales Lead. We were looking for a wheel for a for my son's Corolla. We really didn't want to spend a lot of money, and as the website will explain there are wheels grade A, B and C. We settled for a C to save money; it looked terrific by the way with maybe two little scratches. We got the wheel and paid and were in and out in 10 minutes. In addition as a woman, I feel highly intimidated going into some male oriented businesses, and they were polite, professional, and very respectful. Five stars to this wonderful, wonderful business. Shop after trusted shop, car enthusiasts after car enthusiast friend I knew, all pointed to this end of the rainbow. Not only did they fix the rim (any shop can do that) they rechromed it so that you couldn't tell where they had fixed it. Seriously, the rim looks brand NEW. And, ladies and gentlemen, the price...oohhhhh wee, the price is what will keep me coming back for more. One hint. If you're gonna take them a rim, make sure you take the tire off. They don't have a machine to so that and the people around them will gouge you to take the tire off. One guy wanted twenty bucks to take off a wheel!

Took my rim here after being quoted a great price. Dropped off my rim and picked it up a couple of…read moredays later. Everything LOOKED fine but after getting it checked and me looking at it, there was MORE damage they did to it from hammering it! Now it has a bad ding on the barrel and I don't know if that's even repairable! The repair work on the lip is not straight and looks bad. Spent $50 now I will have to spend another $80 or so to get it fixed right, shouldn't have been cheap and went with the $80 place. I'm sure these guys can do good curb rash work BUT NOT RIM REPAIR
