The work was done fine, but it was after the payment was made. The shower was leaking and I pointed it out to Edgar who said that it's a defective shower, so I had ordered another one and waited. Not only the shower was leaking, there was no hot water. He had mentioned that he will have to break the wall, this and that. After almost two weeks of going back and forth and my grandma not having a working shower, I ended up calling up my plumber who fixed the issue. The issue was with workmanship and where the installation wasn't done correctly. After paying the plumber $300, I finally get a message back from Edgar saying that he is sending someone and since this isn't a workmanship issue, I have to pay him $300. So pretty much, the job done was fine, but the mess I had to deal with after paying him was not End of the day, my grandma suffered and I had to spend additional $300 to fix a workmanship issue caused by Edgar and his team.

Once we started the remodel process everything was super easy and straightforward. The team did a great job on the work and even touched up the paint in some areas and hung a new light that I ordered. When I had a question about a gap between the waterfall and the wall, they immediately addressed it and the work is seamless - you can't even tell it's a false wall! Wanting to make things right, I decided to hire a professional who specializes in door installation rather than attempt to fix something outside my area of expertise. Initially, the conversation went well. The owner was responsive, asked me to provide the location and explain the issue with the door, and gave me what I considered a reasonable price. I never attempted to negotiate a lower price or take advantage of his services. I was more than willing to pay for quality work. However, things took an unexpected turn when I asked a simple question: If he completed the installation and the homeowner was still experiencing issues with the door, would he be willing to return and make the necessary adjustments? For some reason, this question appeared to upset him. He began suggesting that I was asking for some type of long-term warranty, which was never my intention. I simply wanted to understand how he handles situations where a customer is not satisfied with the completed work. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes happen and that no job is always perfect. What matters is how you communicate with customers and stand behind the quality of your workmanship. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a customer asking reasonable questions before hiring someone. What disappointed me even more was when he began making assumptions about my experience, suggesting that this must be my "first project" and that I had never handled projects before. These comments were unnecessary, unprofessional, and had nothing to do with the service I was requesting. I work with customers and contractors regularly, and I believe professionalism, patience, and respectful communication are just as important as the quality of the work itself.
