AVOID THIS PLACE. I literally just bought a Tudor BB58 a few days ago from the Tudor Boutique on…read moreKalakaua (also under Ben Bridge), and figured I'd stop by here (since I was already at the mall) to have them change my OEM fabric strap back to the OEM bracelet. Big mistake. This Ben Bridge Jeweler (now at space #2226) is apparently a Tudor AD, so there should be no problem with them changing or adjusting OEM straps/bracelets. After waiting about 20 minutes, I was told that the watchmaker in the back was having difficulty removing the OEM strap, and for me to please wait. Huh? Another 10-20 minutes go by, and I notice several other reps being called to the back to assist. The rep assisting me looked nervous, but was repeatedly apologetic in having me wait for so long. This couldn't be standard practice for a reputable jeweler, let alone a Tudor AD. In total, I waited for about 45 minutes for them to change the bracelet and finally return my watch. I had a bad feeling, so I checked the back of the watch to see if there was any damage. Lo and behold - they scratched the crap out of my 3 day old Tudor. To their credit, Gail (Assistant Store Manager) offered to polish the watch and remove the scratch marks but I declined before they could ruin the watch any further. When I asked whether the watchmaker taped up the lugs to prevent scratching/damage while working on my watch (which should be standard practice when changing bracelets), the rep helping me said she didn't know. In any case, the damage was done and this doesn't fix the fundamental problem that the watchmaker/rep did not treat my 3 day old Tudor with care... even when they knew that I am a returning Ben Bridge customer (they checked and verified my purchase at Kalakaua). Please don't make the same mistake I did. If you value your Tudor (or any watch for that matter), take it elsewhere that handles your watch with care. Next time, I'll be bringing my Tudor to the Tudor Boutique on Kalakaua. AVOID BEN BRIDGE IN ALA MOANA.

What started off as "I'm just looking" ended with a new purchase made…read more I visited the store on Mother's Day to kill time before meeting back up with my family. Bert greeted me with a warm welcome and asked if I was looking for anything specific. I told him I was just there to look around and we carried on with friendly, no pressure conversation as I looked in the cases. I'm a sucker for the Aquaracer so my attention stopped there and specifically on the GMT pieces. We talked about the other two Tag watches in my collection and how today's watches were built and different. Ken also jumped into the conversation and asked when the last time I had my Aquaracer chronograph serviced. I told him it had to have been about 10 years ago. I knew it was past time to get my watch tuned up.... ....and it was at that point I was sold on investing in a new piece. Ken and Bert told me about the special running which would enable me to get my watch serviced at no charge if I purchased the GMT automatic piece I had set my eyes on. That was about a $700 value. And the rest is history. The service from the both of them was excellent and I never felt pressured from start to finish. They were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and ensured I was comfortable there from start to finish. They even threw in a box of Tag Heuer chocolates for my wife for Mother's Day. I'm glad I stopped by and am very satisfied with my purchase. Not to mention I'll be getting my other watch back tuned up and refreshed. Mahalo Bert and Ken for the great experience today and I look forward to visiting again...just to look....soon!

The metal hardware was different as it shines in the light and it just drew me in like a moth to the flame. Everyone had a Rollie and so did I but to me it didn't call my name like Breitling does. A rollie is a nice status piece but if you really want to wear a watch that is made for adventure but also stands for fine 100% Swiss made extraordinary craftsmanship, look no further as Breitling is the watch for you. Breitling is the inventor of the modern chronograph and has been around since 1884, so they know a thing or two about watches. This boutique is located in Ala Moana Shopping Center right next to the Apple Store. Their hours are from 11am - 7pm everyday except Sunday as they close at 6pm. When I came down to send one of my watches to be serviced, I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Clark Miyata. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. I showed him a picture of a vintage Breitling and he knew exactly what model it was. He is also a very bad boy as he showed me the Super Chronomat B01 44. I was told that there is only 150 of those watches made. He even sent me a nice email that included a picture of that watch. Do I dare show the better half this watch??? Anyhow, if you are looking for modern, stylish watch, or just want that arm candy or maybe it will help catch the eye of someone special that will be on your other arm, look no further as Breitling can be the watch for you.

The main star of our Breitling experience, Matilda Steele…read more Day 1. Our family stopped in during our vacation to help me with a green watch hunt with a steel bracelet, and we were greeted by Matilda with a big smile and she offered drinks right away. We liked the Navitimer 41 and the Chronomat 42, however, the downside was the Navitimer wasn't available with a bracelet on-site. After exchanging contacts, Matilda told us she would contact us if she found the steel bracelet for the Navitimer. Day 2. Matilda notified us she found the steel bracelet for the Navitimer, and invited us back to the boutique. Only my wife and I came back, and again, she offered drinks right away. This time we put the Navitimer side-by-side with the Chronomat for comparison, BUT she brought out something new that was just press-released by Breitling the day before, the new SuperOcean Heritage Chronograph 42 in green. I completely fell in love with the way the SuperOcean Heritage Chronograph looked, but decided to hold off to see how the rest of the family feels about it after taking pictures and a video. Day 3. Notified Matilda that I'm making the purchase for the SuperOcean Heritage Chronograph 42, and stopped in with the family again. Matilda offered drinks first with her bright smile like always. I loved the experience so much, I asked my wife if she would like a watch as well. We ended up looking at the smaller-sized Chronomat and new mint-green SuperOcean Heritage 36. My wife liked the design of the SuperOcean Heritage, but not the color. Matilda brought out other newly released colors for the SuperOcean Heritage 36 from the back, in blue and black, and my wife fell in love with the blue one. We ended up purchasing the blue SuperOcean Heritage 36 for my wife, and the green SuperOcean Heritage Chronograph 42 for myself. The Assistant Manager, Takumi, threw in some gifts as well for Father's Day. I hope Breitling recognizes how great Matilda is when it comes to treating her customers. Any future visitors should definitely ask for Matilda if they would like an SA who is accommodating and patient. What's better proof than a customer that came in window-shopping for 1, but ended up purchasing 2?
