I felt absolutely destroyed but trusted her to make my skin better. I did 1 hydro facial and now monthly chemical peels. My skin has improved so much. Be aware that your skin will get worse before it gets better so trust the process! My skin is not perfect by any means still but she will tell you it will take time and patience and is worth the money! I wear an N95 at work so my skin sometimes gets worse but I know over time these peels and having a good regimen with skin reality brand will clear it all up! So if you are like me who suffers from stubborn acne (i have been dealing with it for 16 years now), go here and make the investment! I work too much to do the acne program here but if you have the time you should try it! Worth every penny! If you are going to invest in sometime, invest your money in your skin and health!

There's never any pressure, just helpful guidance that's clearly based on what will actually work for you. The spa itself is in a super convenient spot in Long Beach and parking is easy, which makes a difference. The whole team is always warm and welcoming, and the vibe is calm and relaxing every time I go. Emma is a big reason I keep coming back, and I'd absolutely recommend checking this place out.

I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Lauren and my experience at SkinSpirit! Lauren is absolutely incredible at what she does. From the very beginning, she has made me feel comfortable, cared for, and completely confident that my skin is in the best hands. She is extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely takes the time to understand your skin, your concerns, and what you're hoping to achieve. One of the things I appreciate most about Lauren is that she takes the time to educate me, helps me understand what my skin actually needs, guides me with my at-home skincare routine, and makes thoughtful recommendations without ever making me feel pressured. I never feel like I'm trying to figure everything out on my own. SkinSpirit itself is wonderful as well. The space is beautiful, clean, welcoming, and luxurious while still feeling comfortable. My women's health physician referred me to a dermatologist, which brought me back to Laser Skin…read more Having previously received excellent care from the physicians and estheticians at this clinic, I was not surprised that my experience with Dr. Bulengo and Dr. Skupsky was equally phenomenal. Both physicians were incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. They took the time to understand my situation, explain my options, and help me determine the best path forward. I was especially grateful for their thoughtful, interdisciplinary approach and their willingness to collaborate to create an integrated treatment plan that worked for me. Unfortunately, the professionalism and compassion demonstrated by the providers were not consistently reflected by some members of the front-office staff. While checking out, I witnessed a staff member speak very rudely to an elderly patient who was understandably confused about why her insurance had not covered her procedure. The staff member repeatedly announced the patient's $800 balance loudly enough for everyone in the area to hear. When the woman asked for an explanation, she was abruptly told to either pay or step aside. The patient had a bandage covering her ear and was also seeking information about the cost of reconstructive ear surgery. She was clearly navigating a vulnerable and stressful situation, yet she was treated with little empathy, patience, or sensitivity. The interaction was uncomfortable to witness and raised serious concerns about professionalism and the respectful handling of patients' private financial information. People come to a medical practice expecting care, compassion, discretion, and dignity--not to be berated, embarrassed, or pushed aside. Front-office staff are an important part of the patient experience, and anyone interacting with patients should be able to do so with patience and respect, particularly when someone is elderly, vulnerable, or confused about complex medical expenses. Dr. Bulengo and Dr. Skupsky provided truly exceptional care, and I remain very grateful to them. I sincerely hope the practice addresses this front-office behavior so that every aspect of the patient experience reflects the same high standard demonstrated by its excellent medical providers.
