The actual treatment is very relaxing. Their signature facial also includes a face mask, a shoulder and hand massage, and paraffin wax for your hands and feet. They also offer other services such as weight loss, botox, eyebrow sculpting, etc. Just keep in mind that only RNs are allowed to perform extractions here which turns to be a real hassle at times. One time, I had to wait over 30 minutes just for a nurse to become available, and on other occasions, I couldn't get the extraction done at all because they were too busy. To make matters worse, some of the RNs have poor attitudes and "hardly ever follow up". A family member was specifically told to text the nurse with any medication questions, but when she did, the RN repeatedly took hours to reply. I also had a personal encounter with an RN who got visibly upset when the front desk asked her to do my extraction. She actually took her frustration out on me because she mistook me for another customer. Whether it was a case of mistaken identity or not, paying customers should never be treated this way, no matter how busy they are. Otherwise, the front desk staff and the estheticians themselves are very nice. If you plan on becoming a regular customer, my tip is: Get to know the estheticians and find one you like because some are amazing while others are just so-so. As for the facility itself, the place is very clean, smells great, and has nice amenities. Their waiting area is very comfortable with light snacks, they provide lockers for your things, and they even have heated toilet seats! The place is located inside the Cerritos Mall. But despite the huge parking areas - finding a spot is a real pain. With the exception of some nurses who have attitude, O Skin lives up to my expectations of providing high quality facials.

When I walked in, he immediately knew what I had and got me started on some serious meds right away. Not wanting me on these medications long-term, he started me on a biologic, and he fought my insurance for over a year when they denied what he prescribed. He also ensured I had plenty of samples of this (expensive) medication while we continued to appeal. This was a lifesaver for me since my condition was so bad I could hardly walk, and this biologic gave me life back. When he left the practice, the mismanagement at this office just got worse. This place was a cattle call, and the new doctor couldn't keep up. They overscheduled patients to the point where waiting times grew to over an hour, and people were lined up in the hallway. It was obvious he was the one holding the place together. I'm now seeing a new physician, but I am grateful to Erik for the care he provided to me while at the other practice.
