My brother rented this venue for my niece's college grad party in the last week of December, 2023…read more Before then, I'd never heard of this place but I'm not a local so that's to be expected. Tucked into a small strip mall-like storefront, this place is great if you're looking for a more intimate spot. I'm told it functions as a nightclub primarily, but is rentable for private parties, such as ours was. It isn't much to look at on the exterior, but the interior is well-appointed; a lot of dark woods with gold accented fixtures, it looks relatively new and it was very clean - my experiences with nightclubs tend toward 'good at 10 feet' but any closer and you can see the dirt and rundown. Not so, here. The staff were all very courteous and professional; my brother sprang for an open bar so we had bartenders who were very good at their job (and really easy on the eyes too). The catering was done by a local celeb chef, though I can't recall his name - the food was good on the whole, and there was no lack of it. All in all, we had a really good time, and if I were looking for a venue for another party in Dallas, I'd definitely consider this place. They offer valet parking as well.

Absolutely Fabulous Experience! 5/5 Stars! If you are…read morelooking to elevate your next special event, look no further than Puffz N Pearlz! I recently ordered two boxes of their infused cigars for a special gathering at my house with my girlfriends--we grabbed the Coco Lux and the Berry Bliss, and they were an absolute hit. We took them out in a humidor for a day of golf, and they were perfect on the course. Afterward, we brought them to the patio to pair with cocktails. My friends absolutely loved the flavors! The best part? There was zero harsh aftertaste, and everyone remarked on how clean and pleasant their palettes felt afterward. Puffz N Pearlz has an incredible variety of custom and infused options--from whiskey, cognac, and bourbon to chocolate, strawberry, and grape. Whether you're planning a wedding, a corporate gathering, or a fun day with your girls, I cannot recommend this mobile cigar lounge enough. They are officially number one on our list, and we are already looking into joining their membership club to become VIP customers. We will definitely be ordering regularly! T.C

Here's the revised review:…read more *1/5 stars* "I'm extremely disappointed with the service provided by Puffznpearlz. We hired them for our party, but the experience was far from satisfactory. The owner showed up late to the venue, and when she finally arrived, she seemed unprepared. She didn't have all the necessary equipment and supplies, and it took her a while to get everything set up. What really took the cake was that she was still setting up halfway through the party, which was embarrassing and unprofessional. It's unacceptable to expect clients to wait for their service to be delivered when they've paid for it. Given the lack of preparation and poor time management, I'm not sure what the rest of the party would have been like if we hadn't stepped in to help. Needless to say, we won't be using Puffznpearlz again and would advise others to think twice before hiring them." Zero to this vendor. She is a scam artist.

Nice spot for a birthday party!…read more Looks like this venue can accommodate weddings, birthdays, bar mitzvahs, or any type celebration of your choosing! Ample parking even with potholes to deal with. I think the owners of the rental units are responsible for paving the property. Some serious repaving is desperately needed. There are many other wonderful units located within this particular area. Cigars, wines, Chinese food, and other wonderful spots! Well worth making a visit! However, this review is about this venue. I'll be back to visit the other spots because of their uniqueness! The decorations were wonderful! I think they were provided by the persons that booked the unit. They also had servers for food. However, I think that too was booked via the people that rented the venue. The napkins, which were cloth, were dirty and limp. Ugh! Those need to be replaced. Those were quite objectionably dirty! Same with the white table cloths. (Fake)flower arrangements were nice. They matched the decor for this setting. Chairs need serious updating/replacement or a good scrubbing. Bathrooms were clean and the toilets flushed. Lack of toilet paper was limited. As was hot water and soap. I was a guest. Would I rent here? Yes I would, if the price was right. The party I attended was fabulous! The party was flawless and they went way above and beyond for this party! February 2025

An Unforgettable Quinceañera at The Slate at II Creeks - September 6, 2025…read moreWe recently celebrated my daughter's quinceañera at The Slate at II Creeks in Richardson, TX, and it was truly a magical experience from start to finish! Luis and his staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their support throughout the planning process and on the day of the event made all the difference -- the food was amazing. We felt completely taken care of. The venue is absolutely stunning -- modern, clean, and flexible enough to accommodate both the ceremony and reception in one beautiful space. Our guests were blown away by the ambiance and flow of the evening. A huge thank you to DJ Larry Perez, who brought incredible energy to the party! His music had everyone dancing all night, and the surprise appearance from his robot and big head crew was a total crowd favorite. It made the night feel extra special and fun! My daughter had the time of her life, and we are still getting compliments from friends and family weeks later. If you're looking for a quinceañera venue in the DFW area, The Slate at II Creeks is the place to go. We can't recommend it enough!

The facility accommodates a variety of meetings, get togethers, and workspace needs. We set up tables and chairs in a U-shape, lowered the screen, projected a slide show, had a presentation and a network meeting. There was a separate kitchen area where people could get coffee or water. Someone brought bagels, but it looked like you could do more in the kitchen space should you want to. There were a variety of tables and chairs grouped together throughout the facility creating unique rooms such as a cafe, bar, lounge, and general workspace. If you needed an office or conference room, you could certainly hold it here. I have no idea what the price is for the space. It seems they are missing out on an opportunity to get this information to people visiting. It seems like they should have a large price board advertising this or at the very least require groups meeting here to mention this. In all fairness, they did have a reception area at the front that ai breezed past because it was so early. No one was staffing the area at 7am. This place had a very casual, playful, and informal feel to it. I could imagine renting it out for other group meetings and events. They seem to have all of the basics covered.

I called 2 months ago to cancel service, and the girl said okay. I had her send me an email stating that I cancelled and know there saying I should have called a month earlier. We had no direct contact with employees. Venture X appears to be a shared work space for professionals. There were smaller private rooms setup for work as well as conference-room sized spaces with large glass walls. None of these were accessible for our gathering. The room was well suited for the party. As multi-purpose venues go, it's modern, clean, and versatile. Parking was easy enough in the retail spaces surrounding the storefront, which is shared with other businesses in a strip center adjoining a large apartment parking garage. Additional parking is available inside the garage as well. I can't speak to the workspace services offered, but we had a good experience on the venue side.
