My 10+ year stylist, Missy, works here and I love this location. It's bright and cheerful, and everyone who works here is so polite. I have referred friends to Missy, and everyone loves her. I have medium brown hair, and she absolutely nails the color every time. I spend 4 hours with Missy every 4 weeks, and look forward to my time with her because she's so fun to talk to. She books up fast, we usually book my appointments out for months. I saw one negative review for her and was shocked. Everyone I have sent to Missy loves her, and they rave about their hair. I'm picky, so 10+ years and sending family and friends to Missy says a lot about her skill. I get compliments on my hair all the time. Disregard that negative one-off. It says more about the reviewer than about Missy or the salon (which I also love). read more

I come to Noemi for my hair and every single time I see her has been amazing! We have taken my hair from its highlighted natural color to black to a baby-lighted brown to bright blonde. She's always been so upfront about the pros and cons and considered the health of my hair above all else. She always formulates the most beautiful shades that complement my own tones perfectly. I was looking for a salon asap and Amber was in contact with me and helped me get set up which was a easy process and she was polite but that was the only great part. After a few days and now that I have washed my hair once with cool water and have not applied heat. I am left extremely disappointed with how my hair looks. I paid $340.00 in cash directly to the stylist .I am showing my inspo photos, I know that inspo photos does not mean that you will get exactly what they look like based on every individual. If only right? But I wanted my hair darker and to have more dimension. I am left feeling insecure, ugly and sad about going to my engagement party to the east coast looking like this. I am leaving this review because at the time it looked okay, I was 100% excited because it looked better than when I walked in but for someone who saved those $340.00 after a month of working hard I am sad. I am currently looking for a new salon who can get me closer to my inspo photos but for now I just wanted to share my experience. There is also a conversation that made me uncomfortable. When I mentioned I want to buy a house and she said that is not the dream and it shouldn't be my end goal or dream that there is more that wanting to purchase a home. She talked about how she has a house and it's nice and now lives back in CA and makes good money. Blah blah blah I feel like you shouldn't push people or sway them from certain things especially since it was my first time meeting this stylist. I have gone to other stylists and over the years we get a bond and can talk about ANYTHING. But for the first time I don't know. Anyways, like I said after 6 days I am not feeling very pretty. I feel ugly =( the salon looks nice and clean but my exeirence was meh but it was nice to try a new place and on to the NEXT! I really wish the outcome of my hair was 10/10 or even 6/10 but I am feeling like a 3/10 and the more I stare at my hair the more I hate it. In this case, I am posting a very overdue 5 star review of a hair stylist who I have been going to for over 10 years. Melissa is a very competent and happy person (she has the most marvelous throaty laugh!) and, although getting the blonde the right tone and even--and consistent time after time--I always leave happy with what she's done for me. Additionally, although she has to use bleach to lighten my hair, she's never over processed it, and for a post menopausal woman with thyroid issues my hair still gets compliments. I highly recommend Melissa for both cut and color. You'll be happy, and you'll enjoy her personality. read more

Update: The salon owner's response to my review confirms the EXACT complaint I had. Yes, it takes multiple visits to achieve the tone the client wants. After 1 color visit I was dismissed and told to go elsewhere when I reached out to kindly discuss next steps. All I asked was if we could change the color to be a bit darker. Unreal that the salon owner is doubling down here. Maybe some training in professionalism is needed if that's what they think this is. Do not go here for your own good. My experience with this salon was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I had 2 appointments with Missy. 1st was for a very basic trim and color consult. I have natural medium brown hair and wanted to keep with my same color but cover the grays. I expressed very clearly that I wanted to try to stay away from it fading super warm/red/copper. I know brunettes tend to fade warm but it can be somewhat controlled. We discussed this at length and she assured me that we would work together to get it right. After my color appointment (2nd visit) I could immediately tell that it was very warm, but we chalked it up to the "lighting". I saw my mother after leaving the salon and she told me, woah your hair looks red! Nevertheless I let it fade out and when it was getting close to my next color appointment I texted Missy very politely, telling her my hair was still so red and asked her if we could go a shade darker at the next visit. This is exactly what we had initially discussed - that we would change things as needed to get it right. I received a text a day later where Missy told me she couldn't give me what I wanted and that I should find somebody else. I was so shocked, her text was so rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. No opportunity or effort to work together to build trust. I should also mention that I lost all my hair due to chemo about three years ago and the last thing I needed was more trauma associated with my hair. I was looking to build a trusting relationship with a stylist. I would avoid this hair salon at all costs. read more

If you have a vision of what you want your hair to look like, I promise you she can get it there!
