We were promptly seated, but the service was a little slow this evening. We did let our waitress know about that. She mentioned that she got caught up at a couple of tables. We started with some cocktails, and they were quite tasty. The presentation definitely has some hype, including the usual smoking and unvailing the smoked drink at the table. All the food was delicious except for the veggie kebabs. They tasted a little doughy and uncooked on the inside. We actually ended up sending them back, and they were really nice about the whole situation. I did think a restaurant like this could have gone over the top to make that situation better, and they did not. Which is fine. We also got the chicken appetizer as well as the paneer tikka. Those appetizers were unpointed delicious. The paneer was a little softer than I was expecting, but the flavor was delicious. For entrees, we got one of the chicken curries as well as one of the mutton curry-type dishes. And we also got some naan. All the food was delicious and super flavorful. It was my partner's birthday, and they brought out a nice little surprise chocolate cake for her. Less as well. That was also super tasty. Our bill for the two of us came out to about $400, which we have no problem paying, and I hate being one of those people complaining about fine dining prices. I do think for that price point, the service could be a little better, and they could take extra special care of their guests. Again, I do hope more of these Indian fine dining establishments make it to the DFW area!

I have to warn fellow ladies under no circumstances to use the bathroom in this location for two reasons: The bathroom has multiple stalls but is not marked for either gender, and the main door can't be locked from inside making it accessible for male and female individuals at the same time. What I noticed in one of the stalls was a sensor flush that was completely out of the wall with wires exposed but still connected, yet the button did nothing and conveniently the unit was placed in a way facing the toilet bowl. An exposed electronic unit like that can be tampered with by any individual specially if the bathroom is accessible by both male and female. You can guess the rest of it yourself. Back to the kitchen, I had ordered paneer biryani along with Irani chai, before using the bathroom, the food took about 30 minutes to arrive, and I was served Pulao instead of Biryani. Even after asking the staff, they firmly said no that's Biryani. If you are non-Indian and don't want your intelligence to be insulted do not visit this restaurant. Once I received my food one of the staff told me the chai will arrive in 2 minutes. Well you guessed it right, I never got my chai. Even though the restaurant is open until 11:30 pm, the staff stop serving chai somewhere between 10-10:30 and even though they had an order in place, they failed to communicate effectively to deliver what was on the order. I finished eating and before leaving I wanted to wash my hand but since the store closes an hour before the restaurant, the bathroom is inaccessible and there's no hand washing station in the restaurant itself, so I used the only two pieces of napkin that were available in the restaurant. Food was tasty but wasn't what I ordered, over all the experience in general was so bad I wouldn't return, nor would recommend this place to anyone.
